1Instructions for Safe Sleep
Room-share instead of co-sleeping
Place your baby alone and on their back to sleep.
Use a firm sleep surface. Keep soft objects out of crib.
Use a crib that meets safety standards. Do not use
cradle for sleep.
Don’t use BabyO2 S2 as an excuse for unsafe sleep.
2Warnings and Cautions
DO NOT twist the sensor and the wrap or apply
excessive force on them.
Do not use this device during MRI examination.
Do not store the device in the following locations:
locations in which the device is exposed to direct
sunlight, high temperatures or levels of moisture, or
heavy contamination; locations near to sources of water
or fire; or locations that are subject to strong
electromagnetic influences.
Do not use the device in a combustible environment.
Never submerge the device in water or other liquids.
Do not clean the device with acetone or other volatile
solutions.
Do not drop this device or subject it to strong impact.
The device and accessories are provided non-sterile.

Do not place this device in pressure vessels or gas
sterilization device.
Do not dismantle the device, as this could cause
damage or malfunctions or impede the operation of the
device.
Consult your doctor immediately if you experience
symptoms that could indicate acute disease.
Do not self-diagnose or self-medicate on the basis of
this device without consulting your doctor. In particular,
do not start taking any new medication or change the
type and/or dosage of any existing medication without
prior approval.
Use only cables, sensors and other accessories specified
in this manual.
Prolonged continuous monitoring may increase the risk
of undesirable changes in skin characteristics, such as
irritation, reddening, blistering or burns.
Do not open the device cover without authorization.
The cover should only be opened by a qualified service
personnel.

4Overview
The baby oxygen monitor is intended for measuring and
monitoring baby's blood oxygen and pulse rate.
4.1 Device (Main Unit)
The device (main unit) is used with the
wrap and the sensor cable to measure,
record and store baby's blood
oxygen and pulse rate.
1) Display screen
2) Side button
Press it for 2 seconds to power
on/off.
Press it to wake up the screen or change the display.
Press it to set the oxygen threshold before measuring.
Note:
It will power off automatically if the sensor cable is not
plugged in, the device is not operated and the Bluetooth
is not connected for 2 minutes
Even with sensor cable connected, it will power off
automatically if the device is not operated and the
Bluetooth is not connected for 10 minutes.
4.2 Station
The station is used by parents to monitor baby’s blood
oxygen and pulse rate in real time, and provides reminders
when it is abnormal.

Press it for 2 seconds to check the serial number of the
station and the paired device.
Note:
Press either button to wake up the screen or turn off the
reminder.

Orange On: Charging
Green On: Fully charged
4.3 Charging
Charge the battery before using.
Connect the device or the station to USB of computer
or USB charging adapter with the supplied cable.

5Placement Guide before working
To ensure that the measurement is performed normally, please
follow the steps below to wear the device.
1) Plug the sensor cable into the device
2)Secure the sensor
A. Place the foot wrap on the foot (either foot works),
with the sensor part running on the outside edge of
the foot. The device should be oriented to the
baby’s leg.

B. Put the foot wrap around the foot and attach the
velcro securely with no gap between the foot wrap
and the baby’s skin. The light emitter and the
light detector should be opposite to each other
on the two sides of the foot.
Note:
For the right foot, the Light Emitter should be on
the top; for the left foot, the Light Emitter should
be on the bottom.
3)Put the ankle wrap around the ankle, attach the
velcro to secure the device.

6Start Measuring
After wearing the device correctly, please follow the steps
below to measure blood oxygen and pulse rate.
1) Press the side button for 2 seconds to turn on the
device.
The screen displays time and battery. There should be
red light inside the soft wrap.
2) Press the side button to set the oxygen threshold.
(Optional)
It’s easier to set in App or PC software.
After a few seconds, readings will be displayed on the screen.
Note:
Motion may cause readings unavailable. Readings
recover very soon at rest.
Please avoid strong ambient light condition.
If the screen displays “poor signal”, please check if the sensor
has been positioned and secured properly.

When the above symbol displays on device screen, it
indicates the readings are unavailable right now.
When at rest, there will be readings in a few seconds. If you
cannot get readings for a long time, it may be caused by:
Improper sensor placement
Frequent movement
Foot is too cold
7Real-time Monitoring with the Station
Press the power button for 2 seconds to turn on the station.
When the device is normally used for measurement, the
screen of the station will display as follows:
When the following situations occur, the reminder will be
activated:
Blood oxygen is lower than the oxygen threshold.
PR is lower than the low PR threshold or higher than
the high PR threshold.
When the baby's foot is moving, the screen will display
the foot icon.

Readings are unavailable for more than the set time.
The sensor cable of the device falls off.
The station is disconnected from the device.
When the abnormal conditions return to normal, the reminder
will stop automatically. You can also press the volume
button or the power button to turn off the reminder.

Note:
All the reminders can be set in App or PC software.
The station cannot save any data. You can check the
history data in App or PC software.
8Real-time Monitoring with the App
8.1 Download App
App name: ViHealth
iOS: App Store
Android: Google Play
Note:
If you have installed the App before, please update it to the
latest version.
8.2 Connecting to the Device
1. Turn on the device.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth in the phone and run the App.
3. Select the device icon when ViHealth finds it.
4. Press the side button of the device to start pairing.
Caution:
Do NOT pair the device in your smart device settings.

8.3 App Dashboard
In App Dashboard, you can view:
Real-time oxygen level, pulse rate, PI;
Recent oxygen level, pulse rate and motion;
Bluetooth signal, device battery, etc.
Note:
For iPhone users, the real-time monitoring only works when
your phone stayed in Dashboard and not locked.
9Stop Measuring
Unplug the sensor cable, the countdown on the screen will
begin.
During the countdown, if you plug the sensor cable
again, the record will be resumed.
After the countdown, the data will be ready for sync.
Note:
If the working time is less than 2 minutes, there will be
no data saved.
If the device power off during working, the data should
have been saved.
The built-in memory can store 4 sessions, up to 10
hours for each. It will start the next session

automatically after 10 hours monitoring. The oldest will
be overwritten by the new one. Please sync data to your
phone or PC in time.
10 Reviewing History Data
You can sync data and review history data in the App-History.
Run App to sync data; If App has already opened, go to
History page to sync data.
Tap an item in the list, you can check the detailed
report, which includes analysis results and diagrams.
Tap the button in the upper right corner of the report to
share.
Slide an item to left, you can delete it.
11 Setting the Reminders
You can set all the reminders in App-Settings when your
device is connected to App.

Note:
you can tap “Close All Reminders” to close all reminders.

FAQ & DOWNLOAD->PC Software and Mac App
Note:
Install the software on windows (win 7/8/10) or Mac
OS(10.13 or above).
To use the software:
1) Turn on the device.
2) Connect the device to PC USB port with the supplied
Cable.
3) Run O2 Insight Pro.
Note:
Don’t connect the device to App when you want to connect
to PC Software.
You can also perform the following operations:
Click the Download button to download data from the
device
Click the Configuration button to set the reminders.
View and print report, which can also be exported as
PDF or CSV files.

13 Maintenance
13.1 Time & Date
After connecting with App, device time will sync from your
phone time automatically.
13.2 Cleaning
Clear the wrap with water. Water temperature should be lower
than 104℉ (40℃)
Use a soft cloth moistened with water or alcohol to clean the
device surface.
