Installation, initial start-up and maintenance may only be performed by trained personnel! All applicable
European and national regulations regarding installation of electrical equipment must be adhered to.
The device may only be connected to supply power which complies with the specifications included in the
technical data and on the serial plate!
The device must be disconnected from all sources of power during installation and maintenance work!
The devices may only be operated under the conditions specified in their operating instructions!
Installation / Mounting:
1. Open connection head, remove cable tie and circuit board.
2. Feed the sensor cable from below into the connection head through the cable gland

3. Attach cable tie to the sensor cable for strain relief

Double wrap cable tie around the sensor cable
Install cable tie at a distance of 130mm from the
shortest wire end
Tighten the cable tie with a suitable tool
Double wrap cable tie around the sensor cable
Cable tie must be installed directly behind shrink tubing
Tighten the cable tie with a suitable tool

4. Tighten the sensor cable until the cable tie rests in the connection head

Tighten the cable gland until it seals Tighten the cable gland until it seals
5. Reinstall the circuit board and tighten the screws

6. Apply cores according to the terminal assignment

Clamp 1: white (+)
Clamp 2: brown (-)
Clamp 3: green/yellow (shield)
Clamp 1: white (+)
Clamp 2: brown (-)
Clamp 3: green/yellow (shield)
7. Stow the ventilation hose in the connection head

ATTENTION: Do not kink hose!
Step not necessary

8. Insert cable for your process via the cable gland.
Connect the cores according to the terminal assignment and tighten the terminals with the screwdriver.
Finally, tighten the cable gland on the connection head until it seals.

Clamp 1: white (+)
Clamp 2: brown (-)
Clamp 3: green/yellow (shield)
Klemmenbelegung

The connection is complete - connection head and probe can be mounted
