Charging theTransceiver
Pleasefollowthesesteps:
1.Takeoutspecialinterphone charger, plugthe ACconnectorofthe adapterintotheACoutletsocket,
thenthegreen lightison, red light twinkles.
2.Slidethe batterypackortransceiverwithbatterypack intothecharger.Makesurethe batterypack
contactsarein goodcontactwiththechargingterminals.Now,greenlightgoesout, while red lightis
on, charging begins.
3.Afterfinishcharging,greenlightison,redlightgoesout. (Chargingtimedependson thebattery
capability).
Note:
υDonotrecharge ifthebatterypack hasbeen fullycharged,otherwiseitmayshorten the battery
servicelifeandreducetheperformanceofthe battery.
υInitiallycharging thebatterypack can notreachitsnormalcapacityafterpurchasing orextended
storing (formorethan2months), Charging&discharging the batterypack twiceorthree timesis
needed, then it can reachthenormalcapacity.

1. Makethebatteryaimattheslide wayoftransceiverback,thenpushforwardthebatterytill the
release latch ison thebaseof transceiver lock. (Picture1)
2. Toremovethe batterypack, press the releaselatchand slide the batteryawayfromthe transceiver.

InstallingtheAntenna
Hold thebaseofthe antenna,then screwtheantennaintotheconnectoratthe topoftransceiver
clockwise, until it isfirmlyengaged.Onthecontrary, screwouttheantenna. (Picture3)

GettingAcquainted
A. StateIndicator: the greenlightkeepslighting whilereceivingaselected signal. Thered light twinkles
while receiving designatedsignal.Red lighttwinkleswhile thetransmittingistobe time out,green
light twinkleswhilescanning.
B. Channelselector: Rotatetoselectchannels.Inthe differentpositions,press PF1 toswitchonoroff a
varietyof functions, and channelgroupcodeselection.
C.PWR/VOLSwitch: Turnclockwisetoswitchon thetransceiver. Turncounterclockwisetoswitchoff
the transceiver. Rotatetoadjust thevolumelevel.
D.PTT (Push-To-Talk)Switch: Pressand hold PTT buttontocall astation,thentalktothe microphone
in yournormal voice.Releaseit toreceiveacall.
E. Function Button(PF1):According todifferentswitchpositionsofchannel number, press thisbutton
toswitchonthetransceiver toturnonoroffavarietyof functions, andchannelgroup code selection.
During the stateofdual watch,itis PTT buttonofdesignated channel (Written byPCprogramming
software)
F. MONI Button (MONI): Press and holdthisbutton tomonitor circularlythe signalfromthe selected
channeland designated channel,
G. Speaker /Microphonerubber plug: Cover the jack whileSP & MIC isfree.
Power On:
Rotate PWR/VOL Switch clockwise,youwillhear asound “Beep”,
report thepresent channel, the transceiverisreadyforworking
Adjusting Volume:
Press andhold MONI button,meanwhile rotate PWR/VOL Switch
toadjust thevolume
Channel Selection:
RotateChannelSelector toselectyour channel or select
anewchannel,(Press PF1 topoweron) to turnon or off other functions
PTT Button: Press and hold PTT button to call astation,
thentalktothe microphonein your normalvoice.

Dual Channel Standby
υThistransceiver canacheivedualchannelstandbyintheselectedchannel(selectedbyselector
position) and designated channel（anotherchannel designated byPC programmingsoftware.
When dual standbyisswitchedon, bothselected channel and designated channel stay in the
transceiver anddualwatch）.
υRotatetheselectorat “No.10”,press and hold [PF1] button toswitch ON/OFF dual channelstandby
function. IfthedesignatedchannelbyPC programming softwarehasno parameters, dual channel
standbycan t beswitched on.
υWhile dual channel standbyisswitchedon,FMradiohastobeclosed.
υ[PF1] becomes [PTT]button ofdesignatedchannel.While dualchannelstandbyisswitched on,
greenLED keepslighting whileselected channel receiveasignal, press andhold PTT】toreply;

Press and hold MONI】button tocopythe channelparametersintoanothertransceiver.
Beforecopying, connect the twotransceiversbyacopycable.Duringthecopy, redlight ofthecopying
part continuouslytwinkles;greenlightofcopiedpartcontinuouslytwinkles.Copyingcompleted,indicator
lightsgo out.When copyingisin progress, pleaserelease MONI】button.

Toknowthetransmitting andreceivingfrequencyofselectedchannel,andCTCSS oftransmitting and
receiving,press andhold【MONI】tosquelch, then press【PF1】.
Report order:
“TransmittingStorage”,TransmittingFrequency,TransmittingCTCSS. “Receiving Storage”,receiving
frequency,receivingCTCSS.
Afterreportingthefrequency,ifDCSor CTCSS is not reported, it meansnoCTCSSis setinthis channel.
Otherwise,continuetoreport DCSor CTCSS.Whilereportingfrequency andCTCSS,asound Beep”
comesout, it indicatesa frequency point”.AfterreportingDCS,asound Beep”indicatespositive DCS,
whilea sound Beep, Beep”indicates reverseDCS.
High/ LowPower Switchover
Withthe stateofFMradiounactivated, press【MONI】tomakenoise,then press 【PTT】can
temporarilyswitchHigh/Lowpowerofselected channel(selected byselector). Meanwhilereport the state
ofDualBand Dual WatchMode(TDR mode). If itison,report “TDR ON”,itisoff,report “TDR
OFF”.Voiceprompt “TransmittingPower1”islowpowertransmitting , “TransmittingPower5”ishigh
power transmitting
MONI channel
Withthe dual standbystate,keep holding 【MONI】button totaketurnstomonitorthe signalof
designatedchanneland selectedchannel. If the greenLED keeps lighting,the signalis from designated
channel, if thegreenLED twinkles, the signal isfrom selectedchannel.

Scanning
The transceivercanscan group channelorfullchannels.Thegreen LED twinklesrapidlywhilescanning.
Press and hold MONI】,【PF1】button simultaneouslytostart scanninggroup channel orfull channels
Rotatethechannelselector at “No.1”, afterscanning;scanning channel No. is1-16.
Rotatethechannelselector at “No.2”, afterscanning;scanning channel No. is17-32.
The rest canbedone in thesamemanner.
If rotatethe channel selectorat “No.16”,after scanning; scanningchannelsare128channels.
a. Press transmittingkeyofselectedchannel(【PTT】button). Underthe timeandcarrierscanning
mode,itturnsback tothecurrentchannel(selectedbyselector) and transmit, meanwhile stop
scanning. Underthesearchscanning mode,ifasignalisscanned, also in the suspendedscanning
state（greenLEDtwinklesslowly）,then transmitinthe currentchannel,otherwiseitwill turnback to
the current channel (selectedbyselector ) totransmit.
b. Press transmittingkeyofdesignatedchannel[Middle key], Inthe dualstandbystate,scanning
stopsand goback todesignatedchannel totransmit. Withoutdualstandbystate,transmittingis
invalid
c. Pressing [MONI] is invalid.
Scanning modes (scanning modesmust beselectedvia PC programmingsoftware):
1. Underthe timescanning mode,itwould bepausedfor5seconds,then continue toscan after
scanning asignal.
2. Underthecarrierscanning mode,scanningstopsafterasignalisscanned.Andthencontinue
toscan after carrier signallost for 3seconds.
3. Underthesearch scanningmode,afterscanningasignal,scanning pauses,thegreenLED
twinklesslowly,atthis timepress [PTT] button,transmitonlyinthecurrentscannedchannel.
Inthe suspendedscanning state,press [MONI] buttontocontinue scanning (green LED
twinklesrapidly)until scan yourdesiredchannel.Afterscanningasignal,voicepromptthe
scanned channel number.
FMRadio Function
Inthesingle receptionstate,press [PF1] switchon FMradio. After FMRadiostarts, press [PF1] to
searchFMradio. Press [MONI] for FMbandswitch.If press [MONI], asound “Beep”isheard, thenFM
works in 65-75.9FMbandrange,atthistime press [PF1] radio frequencysearchinthe rangeof
65-75.9MHz. If press [MONI] ,asound “Beep, Beep”isheard,FMworks in 76-108FMband range,at
thistime press [PF1] radio frequencysearchin the rangeof76-108 MHz.Shutdownand restart orrotate
the selector can permanentlyturnoff theradio.
EmergencyAlarm
Press [MONI] twicerapidlyandcontinuously,emergencyalarmfunctionstarts. Alarmmodesinclude
scene alarm,warningtone,warningcodes(Must beselectedbyPC programmingsoftware). Alarm
channelsareonlyselected channel.
RelayForwarding Signal1750 HZ
Inthetransmittingstate, press [MONI] tosend out1750 HZ relayforwarding signal.
Chinese /EnglishSwitchover
Rotatethechannelselector at “No.15”,press [PF1] toswitchonthe transceiver, then enter language
selectionfunction, namely: Chinese/EnglishSwitchover
