BATTERY POWER SOLUTIONS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is the SunPower Solar Panel waterproof?
The solar panels themselves are weather-resistant and will not be
harmed if exposed to rain or snow; however, the connecon cord is not
weather-resistant and must be kept dry.
Does the SunPower Solar Panel hold a charge?
The SunPower Solar Panel does not hold a charge. The solar panels only
produce power when exposed to sunlight and that power is not stored.
Can I leave the SunPower Solar Panel outside for connual use?
The SunPower Solar Panel is not designed for connuous outdoor usage.
Once your device has finished charging, wipe the SunPower Solar Panel
with a clean, dry cloth and fold for storage.
Can I use the SunPower Solar Panel to charge devices?
As long the small electronic device meets the voltage requirements of
the SunPower Solar Panel (18V or less) and has a DC power cord you can
connect your device to the SunPower Solar Panel by using the provided
DC input cord.
Does the SunPower Solar Panel have an internal charge controller?
The SunPower Solar Panel does not have an internal charge controller;
however, the FreedomTM and C-100 CPAP Baeries have internal circuitry
that prevents overcharging.
When using the SunPower Solar panel to charge other electronic devices
it is important that you read the charging instrucons for the specific
device as overcharging may damage the device’s internal baery.

OPTIMAL CHARGING CONDITIONS
direct sunlight with the solar panels angled toward the sun between
30° to 50° from the horizontal (flat) moving the panels throughout the
day to follow the movement of the sun
no clouds
no shade covering any of the solar panels
no hanging branches or other obstrucons to direct sunlight
no dirt or debris on the solar panels
SAFETY & CARE INSTRUCTIONS
While the SunPower Solar Panel is flexible, only fold the natural
creases in the all-cloth porons of the panel.
Do not fold with the solar cells facing outward. Always protect the
solar cells when not in use.
Do not aempt to charge non-rechargeable baeries or devices with
non-rechargeable baeries.
Do not machine wash, machine dry, or dry clean.
If dirt or debris collect on the solar panels use a clean, wet cloth to
wipe the panels. Do not use soap or solvents as they can create a film
on the solar panels which can affect performance.
Make sure the SunPower Solar Panel is clean and dry before storage.

CHARGING OTHER SMALL ELECTRONIC DEVICES
To charge small electronic devices that operate from 18V or less:
Plug the DC input cord into the connecon cord of the SunPower
Solar Panel.
Plug the DC power cord of the small electronic device into the
DC input cord.
Connect your electronic device to its DC power cord.
Place the SunPower Solar Panel facing toward direct sunlight to
begin the charging process.
Make sure to read the charging instrucons for your specific device.
The SunPower Solar Panel does not have an internal charge
controller and overcharging your device may result in damage to
the device’s internal baery.
As soon as charging is complete disconnect the SunPower Solar Panel
from the electronic device.
