Fitting Instructions: BMNR270520
1. Fit the four brackets using a 13mm & 17mm spanner.
2. The fixing holes are pre-drilled and threaded. The threaded holes are covered by removable plastic bungs running
along the edge of the sill.
3. Remove the 2nd and 3rd bungs from the front and the two rearmost bungs.
4. The plastic sills will need to be cut using a suitable cutting tool so the brackets can slot through into the plastic sill.
5. Now attach the brackets with the bolts provided. Use a washer under each nut. The inner leg fixings at the rear
locate into holes in the chassis using the anchor bolt supplied. The front inner bolts locate up through the two chassis/
gearbox tubes. The loose fixing plate supplied should be put into position with the welded nut facing down to help fitting.
Do not fully tighten at this stage.
6. The outer bolts can now be loosely fitted into the steps.
7. Put the side step into position on the brackets and fit the inner bolts.
8. Push the steps in against the body of the vehicle.
9. Adjust the steps for best fit and tighten all nuts and bolts fully.
