Anwendung
DALI Connector für die Inbetriebnahme und
Steuerung von DALI-Betriebsgeräten und
BEGA Systemkomponenten einer DALI-Linie
mit max. 64Betriebsgeräten, 16/32DALI-
Gruppen, 16DALI-Lichtszenen.
Konform zum DALI-2 Standard steht neben
dem Adressbereich für bis zu 64Steuergeräte
auch ein seperater Adressbereich für bis zu
64BEGA DALI-Systemkomponenten zur
Vefügung.
Der DALI Connector dient als Schnittstelle
zur BEGA Connect Cloud, um die
Beleuchtungsanlage fernzusteuern oder aus
der Ferne zu warten.
Für die Gewährleistung aller Funktionen ist eine
dauerhafte Internet-Verbindung erforderlich.
Die Konguration, Parametrierung und
Steuerung (Administration) erfolgt komfortabel
über die App BEGA Connect für iOS und
Android.
Application
DALI connector for the setup and control of
DALI operating devices and BEGA system
components on a DALI line with max.
64operating devices, 16/32DALI groups,
16DALI lighting scenarios.
In compliance with the DALI-2 standard, apart
from the address pool for up to 64 control
devices, a separate address pool for up to
64 BEGA DALI system components is also
available.
The DALI connectors serve as an interface to
the BEGA Connect Cloud for remote control or
remote maintenance of the lighting system.
To guarantee all functions, a permanent internet
connection is required.
Conguration, parametrisation and control
(administration) is conveniently carried out via
the BEGA Connect app for iOS and Android.
Utilisation

The BEGA DALI connector is suitable for the

12 m, wobei die Umgebungsbedingungen und
das verwendete Endgerät (z. B. Smartphone
oder Tablet) eine entscheidende Rolle spielen.
Im freien Feld können deutlich größere
Reichweiten erzielt werden.
Die Bluetooth-Verbindung zwischen dem
DALI Connector und dem Endgerät wird
ausschließlich für die Inbetriebnahme benötigt.
Ebenfalls hängt auch die WLAN Reichweite
stark von den örtlichen Gegebenheiten ab.
In der Regel liegt die Reichweite bei 30 m.
Soll der DALI Connector über WLAN mit dem
Internet verbunden werden, prüfen Sie bitte
vorab, ob am Montageort eine ausreichende
und stabile Signalstärke des WLAN vorhanden
ist. Ist dies nicht der Fall, empfehlen wir die
Verbindung über den LAN Anschluss.
Range
Bluetooth generally has a range of 12m,
whereby environmental conditions and the end
device used (e.g. smartphone or tablet) play a
decisive role.
Signicantly larger ranges can be achieved in
an open eld environment.
The Bluetooth connection between the DALI
connector and the end device is required
exclusively for initial set-up.
Likewise, the WLAN range depends heavily on
the local conditions. The range is typically 30
m. If the DALI connector is to be connected
to the Internet via WLAN, please ensure in
advance that there is an adequately stable
WLAN signal available at the installation site. If
this is not the case, we recommend connecting
to a LAN connection.
Portée
Pour le Bluetooth, la portée est en principe de
12m. Les conditions ambiantes et le terminal
utilisé (p. ex. smartphones ou tablettes) jouent
néanmoins un rôle essentiel.
En champ libre, des distances nettement plus
importantes peuvent être atteintes.
La connexion Bluetooth entre le connecteur
DALI et le terminal n’est nécessaire que pour la
mise en service.
La portée du WLAN dépend aussi fortement
des conditions locales. La portée est
généralement de 30m. Si le connecteur
DALI doit être connecté à Internet via WLAN,
veuillez vérier au préalable si la puissance du
signal du WLAN sur le lieu d’installation est
sufsante et stable. Si tel n’est pas le cas, nous
recommandons une connexion par LAN.

Montage
Die Installation des DALI Connectors muss
innerhalb einer Unterverteilung oder in einem
für die Hausinstallationstechnik zugelassenen
Gehäuse erfolgen.
Dem DALI Connector sind dabei geeignete
Trennvorrichtungen vorzuschalten, um diesen
von der Stromversorgung trennen zu können.
Modul auf Hutschiene befestigen und
elektrische Anschlüsse vornehmen.
Elektrischen Anschluss von L, N und DA/
DA vornehmen. Dabei auf phasenrichtigen
Anschluss von Lund Nachten!
Installation
The DALI connector must be installed within a
sub-distribution board or in a housing approved
for building installation technology.
A suitable separator should be positioned
upstream of the DALI connector so that it can
be disconnected from the power supply.
Secure the module on the DIN rail and establish
the electrical connections.
Establish electrical connections at L, N and
DA/DA.
Ensure in-phase connection of Land N!
Installation
Le connecteur DALI doit être installé dans une
armoire de distribution ou dans un boîtier agréé
pour la technologie de l’installation domestique
Un dispositif de déconnexion approprié doit
être branché en amont du connecteur DALI
en vue de le déconnecter de l’alimentation
électrique.
Fixer le module sur le rail DIN et procéder aux
raccordements électriques.
Procéder au raccordement électrique des ls
L, N et DA/DA. Veiller au bon raccordement
électrique des phases Let N!
Inbetriebnahme
Für den Betrieb und die Inbetriebnahme
wird eine dauerhafte Internetverbindung
vorausgesetzt, daher sollte entweder ein
Netzwerkkabel angeschlossen oder der DALI
Connector über die App BEGA Connect mit
einem WLAN verbunden werden.
Nach dem Anschluss der Stromversorgung
erfolgt die Konguration des DALI Connectors
mit der App BEGA Connect.
Der DALI Connector sollte sich in den
Werkseinstellungen benden, damit er
erfolgreich konguriert werden kann. Dieser
Zustand ist erkennbar an der weiß pulsierenden
Status-LED.
Laden und starten Sie die App BEGA Connect.
Startup procedure
For operation and commission, a permanent
internet connection is required. For this reason,
either a network cable should be connected
or the DALI connector should be connected to
WiFi via the BEGA Connect app.
After connecting the power supply, the DALI
connector is congured in the BEGA Connect
app.
The DALI connector should be in factory
settings for successful conguration. This
status can be recognised by the pulsating
white status LED.
Download and start the BEGA Connect app.
Mise en service
Pour le fonctionnement et la mise en service,
une connexion Internet permanente est
indispensable; il faut donc soit brancher un
câble réseau Internet soit relier le connecteur
DALI via l’application BEGA Connect à un
réseau local WLAN.
Après le raccordement de l’alimentation
électrique, il faut congurer le connecteurDALI
avec l’application BEGAConnect.
Le connecteurDALI doit être réglé sur
les paramètres d’usine an de pouvoir
être conguré correctement. Cet état est
reconnaissable à la LED d’état qui clignote
rapidement en blanc.

Wählen Sie in der App den „DALI Connector"
aus und folgen Sie den Anweisungen. In the app, select the “DALI Connector” and follow the instructions. Dans l’application, sélectionnez «DALI Connector » et suivez les instructions.
Zurücksetzen auf Werkseinstellungen:
Erfolgt die Installation nicht ordnungsgemäß
oder ist ein Zugriff über die AppBEGAConnect
nicht mehr möglich, sollte der DALI Connector
auf seine Werkseinstellungen zurückgesetzt
werden.
Dazu bitte die Pairing/Reset-Taste länger als
10Sekunden drücken, bis die LED blau zu
pulsieren beginnt. Pairing/Reset-Taste loslassen
und anschließend das Zurücksetzen innerhalb
von 3Sekunden durch nochmaliges kurzes
Drücken der Reset-Taste bestätigen.
Der DALI Connector wird nun auf seine
Werkseinstellungen zurückgesetzt. Während
des Vorgangs blinkt die Status-LED rot.
Sobald der Vorgang abgeschlossen und eine
erneute Konguration möglich ist, pulsiert die
Status-LED weiß.
Reset to factory settings:
If the installation is not carried out correctly or
access via the BEGA Connect app is no longer
possible, the DALI connector should be reset to
its factory settings.
To do this, press the pairing/reset button for
longer than 10seconds until the LED starts
pulsating blue. Release the pairing/reset button
and then conrm the reset within 3seconds by
briey pressing the reset button again.
The DALI connector will now reset to its factory
settings. The status LED will ash red during
this process.
Once the process is completed and new
conguration is possible, the status LED will
pulsate white.
Rétablir les paramètres d’usine:
Si l’installation n’est pas correctement effectuée
ou si l’accès via l’application BEGAConnect
n’est plus possible, les paramètres d’usine du
connecteur DALI doivent être rétablis.
Pour ce faire, veuillez appuyer sur le bouton
d’appairage/réinitialisation pendant plus
de 10secondes, jusqu’à ce que la LED
commence à clignoter rapidement en bleu.
Relâcher la touche d’appairage/réinitialisation,
puis réaliser le rétablissement dans un délai de
3secondes en appuyant à nouveau brièvement
sur la touche de réinitialisation.
Les paramètres d’usine du connecteur DALI
sont désormais rétablis. La LED d’état clignote
en rouge pendant ce processus.
Dès que le processus est terminé et qu’une
nouvelle conguration est possible, la LED
d’état clignote rapidement en blanc.
