This section covers the safety instructions that will
help providing protection against personal injury and
material loss risks. Failure to follow these instruc-
tions invalidates the granted warranty.
1.1 General safety
•This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
•The appliance can become very hot. Never put your
hair between the ceramic plates for longer than a
few seconds.
•Do not allow the hot plate to come into contact with
your face, neck or head. Do not touch it with your
bare hands.

•Do not leave the appliance unattended when
switched on.
•Do not dismantle the appliance under any
circumstance.
•Never use the appliance outdoors.
•Do not immerse the appliance in water or let it come
into contact with water, even during cleaning.
•Never use the appliance in the bath, shower, over a
wash basin filled with water or near any source of
water; nor should it be operated with wet hands.
•If the appliance is used in the bathroom, it is
essential that you unplug it after use, as any water
close to the appliance can still pose a hazard, even
if the appliance is switched off.

•If not already in use, installing a residual current-
operated protective device (RCD) is recommended
for additional protection with a rated residual
operating current not exceeding 30 mA in the
electrical circuit of your bathroom. Ask your
electrician for advice.
•Unplug the appliance after use. Do not disconnect
the plug by pulling on the cord. Place the appliance
on a heat resistant surface and allow it to cool
down.
•Always allow the appliance to cool down on a heat
resistant, safe and flat surface.
•Never use the appliance if it or the power cord is
visibly damaged.
•If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, a service centre or a similarly
qualified person to avoid any danger of electrical
shock.
•Make sure that there is no danger that the power
cord could be accidentally pulled or that someone
could trip over it when the appliance is in use.

•Check if the mains voltage on the type plate (on
the handle of the appliance) corresponds to your
local mains supply. The only way to disconnect the
appliance from the mains is to unplug it.
•Never wrap the power cord around the appliance.
•Never use the appliance for any other purpose than
those described in these instructions.
•Never cover the appliance, for example with a
towel.
•Never place the appliance on soft cushions or
blankets during operation.
•Always keep the appliance out of the reach of
children.
1.2 WEEE regulaton and dsposal of the
waste product
This product does not contain harmful and forbidden materials
described in the “Directive on the Restriction of the Use of
Certain Hazardous Substances in Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment” (EEE) issued by the T.R. Ministry of Environment and
Urbanization. Complies with the WEEE Directive.
This product has been manufactured with high quality parts and materials
which can be reused and are suitable for recycling.

Therefore do not dispose of the product with normal domestic waste at
the end of its service life. Take it to a collection point for the recycling of
electrical and electronic equipment. Please consult your local authorities
to learn the nearest collection point. Help protect the environment and
natural resources by recycling used products.
1.3 Package nformaton
Packaging materials of the product are manufactured from
recyclable materials in accordance with our National
Environment Regulations. Do not dispose of the packaging
materials together with the domestic or other wastes. Take
them to the packaging material collection points designated by the local
authorities.

•Do not pour hot water nto the water dspenser.
•Do not nstall your water dspenser under drect sunlght or near heat
emttng applances such as ovens, dshwashers or radators.
•Turn the applance (power) off f you are not gong to use t for a long

3.1 Intended use
The appliance is designed for
domestic use only.
3.2 Use wet har
1. Towel dry har well before
stylng.
AWARNING:
Do not
use on dripping wet
hair.
2. Before usng the straghtener on
wet har ensure the straghtener
has fully heated to your desred
temperature between 190°C -
210°C (8-10 settngs).
3. Select approprate temperature
for you har type usng the
controls on the sde of the
straghtener.

When straightening
wet hair you will hear
a hissing sound and
the unit will steam.
This is a good thing
– it is the sound of
excess water in your
hair evaporating and
this is not harmful to
the condition of your
hair.
3.3 Use on dry har
1. Before use, ensure the har s
clean, dry and tangle-free.
2. Select approprate temperature
for your har type usng the
controls on the sde of the
straghtener.

3.4 Operaton
1. Plug n the styler and press and
hold the on button to swtch on.

plugged in but not
turned on a “--” sym-
bol will show in the
display window indi-
cating the styler is in
stand by mode.

is pressed or it is left
on after 60 minutes
2. Start stylng on lower tempe-

Style the lower layers frst.
4. Workng on one secton at a tme
run the straghtener through the
entre length of the har, wthout
stoppng.
5. Repeat only twce per secton to
prevent damage to the har.
6. When fnshed press and hold the
off button for two seconds to turn
off and unplug the applance.

4.1 Cleanng and care
1. Turn the applance off and

2. Before cleanng, allow the
applance to cool down. The
applance can become very hot
and may take up to 45 mnutes
to cool down.
3. Clean the applance only wth a
soft damp cloth.
