1.1 General safety
•Do not use this appliance
outdoors or in bathrooms.
•Any form of warranty or
responsibility cannot be
requested if the device
has been damaged due to
incorrect use or has been
carried improperly.
•Do not take the appliance
apart. No form of warranty
can be claimed for dam-
age caused by incorrect
use.
•Only use the original parts
or parts recommended by
the producer.
•Do not leave the appliance
unattended when it is in
use.
•Always keep the appliance
on a balanced, flat, clean,
dry and non-slip surface.
•Clean all the parts of the
appliance before use.

•While the appliance is in
use, do not leave it on a
soft mat or cover.

•For perfect results, a very
hot air stream is needed.
After using the appliance
for a long time and exten-
sively, be careful of the
accessory as it can get too
hot. To prevent injuries,
please set the length of
operation time accordingly
with the accessory being
used.
1.1.1 Electrical safety
•The Beko Small Home Ap-
pliances conform to the
applicable safety meas-
ures; therefore, to prevent
any form of danger in case
the appliance or the elec-
tric cable is damaged, the
dealer, service center or
similar experts or authori-
zied services should fix
or replace the appliance.
Faulty or inadaquate repair
can lead to danger and
risks for the user.
•Make sure that your sup-
ply power source complies
with the information sup-
plied on the rating plate.
The only way to remove
the appliance from the
power source is to unplug
the appliance.
•For additional protec-
tion, this appliance must
be connected to a home
appliance residual cur-
rent device which has
maximum 30 mA nominal
value. For recommenda-
tions, consult your electri-
cian.
•Use the appliance with a
grounded plug.
•Never use the appliance if
the power cable or the ap-
pliance itself is damaged.
•Do not use this appliance
with an extension cord.

•Place the appliance in a
way so that the plug is al-

•Avoid the power cable
from being kinked, bent
or rubbing against sharp

age. Keep the power cable
away from hot surfaces
and naked flames.
•Make sure that there is no
danger of the plug being
pulled or someone tripping
on the cable, while the ap-
pliance is in use.
•After using the appliance,
unplug it before leaving the
room or if there is a failure.
•Before cleaning the appli-
ance always unplug it and
never clean the appliance
while it is in use.

3.1 First use
1. Take off all packaging and
labeling materials and dispose
of them accordingly with your
local regulations.
2. Clean the appliance before
initial use (See. “Cleaning and
maintanance” section).
3. Make sure that the device is
balanced on a flat, clean, dry
and non-slip surface.
3.2 Settings
Your appliance has the following
settings:
3.2.1 Ion connection
– Ionic: Switches the ion function
on and off.
3.2.2 Blower level
– 0: Off
– 1: Gentle air flow
– 2: Strong air flow

3.2.3 Temperature level
– : Cool air
– : Moderate temperature
for gently drying and
styling
– : High temperature for
fast drying
3.2.4 Cool shot
– : Interrupts the hot air supply
with a cold air flow
3.3 Operation
1. Towel dry your hair thoroughly
after washing.
2. If required, attach the small
concentrator nozzle (6) or the
soft finger volume diffuser (8)
– The diffuser ensures more
volume as well as maximum
drying on the strand of hair.
3. Plug the power cord (1) into the
wall socket.

Check if the mains
voltage on the type
plate on the handle of
the appliance corre-
sponds to your supply.
4. Turn on the appliance with
switch (3) and set the blower
level.
5. Set the temperature level with
switch (4).
6. While drying, you can interrupt
the hot air flow, by pressing
and holding down (5) (Cool
Shot).

The Cool Shot inter-
rupts the hot air with
a flow of cold air. This
allows you to fix your
hairstyle better and
more lastingly.
7. If required, switch to the ion
supply while drying by pressing
the (2) button.
– If the ion supply is switched
on, the display lights up in
the (2) button.
8. After use, switch off the appli-
ance with the (3) button and
pull out power cord (1) from the
wall socket.
A
WARNING: Never
wind the power cord
around the appliance,
as this can result in
damage. Check the
power cord and the
appliance regularly for
visible damage.

4.1 Cleaning and care

WARNING : Do not
use benzine, solvents,
abrassive clean-
ers, metal objects
or tough bristled
brushes to clean the
appliance.

WARNING : Never
immerse the appli-
ance or the power
cable in water or
other liquids.
1. Switch the appliance off and
unplug it.
2. Wait for the appliance to com-
pletely cool down.
3. Never dip the appliance in wa-
ter.
4. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean
the housing. Remember to cle-
an the air inlet grille (7) occa-
sionally with a soft brush to re-
move hairs and dust.
5. Take off the air inlet grille (7)
and clean the filter at regular
intervals. Pull back the air inlet
grille to do this.
4.2 Storage
•If you do not plan to use the ap-
pliance for a long period of time,
please store it carefully.
•Make sure the appliance is un-
plugged and completely dry.
•Keep it in a cool, dry place.
•Make sure that the appliance is
kept out of the reach of children.
