these instructions invalidates
the granted warranty.
1.1 General safety
•Keep the instruction man-
ual for future use. Should
a third party be given the
appliance please ensure
the instruction manual is
included.
•The appliance can become
very hot. Never put your
hair between the ceramic
plates for longer than a
few seconds.
•Do not allow the hot plate
to come into contact with
your face, neck or head.
Do not touch it with your
bare hands.
•Do not leave the appliance
unattended when switched
on.
•Do not dismantle the ap-
pliance under any circum-
stance. No warranty claims
are accepted for damage
caused by improper han-
dling.
•Never use the appliance
in or near to combustible
and inflammable places
and materials and furni-
ture. Do not let the appli-
ance come into contact
with or become covered
by inflammable materials
e.g. curtains, textiles, etc.
Please make sure that the
appliance is always kept a
safe distance away from
flammable materials and
furniture.

surfaces under the appli-
ance.
•Never use the appliance
outdoors.
•Do not immerse the ap-
pliance in water or let it
come into contact with
water, even during clean-
ing.

water or near any source
of water; nor should it be
operated with wet hands.

tial that you unplug it after
use, as any water close to
the appliance can still pose
a hazard, even if the appli-
ance is switched off.
•If not already in use, in-
stalling a residual current-
operated protective device
(RCD) is recommended for
additional protection with
a rated residual operating
current not exceeding 30
mA in the electrical circuit
of your bathroom. Ask your
electrician for advice.
