1 GENERAL
1.1 OVERVIEW
The KFD 900 AeroVue Touch flight deck is a panel-mounted touch-
controlled Primary Flight Display (PFD) and Multifunction Display (MFD)
system. The KFD 900 AeroVue Touch has the following installed
equipment/features:

EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION
KSD 100 PFD A 10.1-inch high-resolution Widescreen Ultra Extended Graphics
Array (WUXGA) Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) with integrated Infrared
(IR) touch technology, which allows operation with a finger, gloved
finger, or stylus. The KSD 100 displays airspeed, altitude, attitude,
vertical speed, Horizontal Situation Indicator (HSI), moving map,
Vertical Situation Display (VSD), Automatic Dependent Surveillance-
Broadcast (ADS-B) In traffic and weather, and other related data.
The display has a light sensor that detects lighting conditions for
automatic dimming of the display; dimming can also be controlled
manually. The KSD 100 has a Universal Serial Port (USB) and
Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) antenna for database uploads and
maintenance functions.
Configuration
Module
Configuration module [i.e., Aircraft Personality Module (APM)] is
part of the KSD 100 and stores configuration data.
KG 71 ADAHRS Air Data Attitude Heading Reference System (ADAHRS) provides
attitude, heading, and air data to all aircraft systems that require it.
KMG 7010
Magnetometer
Senses the earth’s magnetic field and provides magnetic heading
data to the KG 71.
KTP 73 OAT
Probe
Outside Air Temperature (OAT) probe that measures the air
temperature and provides the data to the KG 71.
KCP 100
Control Panel
Can be used to manually adjust the barometric pressure, selected
heading or track, selected course, and selected altitude settings.
