Overheatedoil and a naked flame can causefire

back into the kitchen through theventilation slits
without impediment.

the airflow. Make surethat out flowing airisableto
flow into the kitchen withoutimpediment.
Operating overa solid-fuelburning fireplace:
The device mayonlybe used overafireplace forsolid
fuels(e.g. acoal-burning stove)if:
§the fireplacehasa sealed coverwhichcannot be
removed.Otherwise there is an increased fire risk
due to flyingsparks.

Description for the user
The following illustrationsshow the waythe
possible operatingmodeswork. The devices
used are shownassymbols. The illustrationsare
meant to serveasa guide. The illustrateddevice
shapesmaydifferfrom yourdevice.
With thisdevice you can suck in and clean cooking
vapours. Cleaning the room airthatissucked inis
doneinseveralcleaning stages. Dirt particles, suchas
fat and oilparticles,are trappedon the upperand lower
sections.
Possibleoperating modes
The device can work indifferent operating modes:
§Recirculated airmode
§Extracted airmode
§Hybrid mode
The individualoperating modesaredescribedin the
next sections.
Extractedairmode
The device drawsroom airin and filters dirtparticles
out of the air. The cleaned airisdischarged outside.
Recirculated airmode
The filterfilling mustbe replaced atregular
intervalsinrecirculated airmode.
The device drawsroom airin and filters dirtparticles
out of the air.
The filterfilling inthe recirculated airfilterneutralises
anysmellyodours present. The odour-free,cleaned
room airisfed back into the room.
Hybridmode
The filterfilling mustbe replaced regularintervals
in hybridmode.
The device drawsroom airin and filters dirtparticles
out of the air. Part of the cleaned airisdischarged
outside. The filterfilling inthe hybrid filterneutralises
the existing odourcomponentsof the remaining air
sucked in from the room. The odourless, cleanedroom
airisthen fed back into the room.

You can operate the devicein fourdifferent power
levels.
To turn the deviceon, proceed asfollows:

soiling levels:
ØTurn off the device.
ØOpen the lowersectionbypulling the rounded
edgeon the front side downwards.
ØUse a soft,damp cloth orkitchen papertowelsfor
cleaning.
ØWipe off the upperand lowersections.
Closethelower section.
ØClose the lowersection bypushing it upwardsuntil
the two magneticfasteners can be heard to click
together.

If the deviceisheavilysoiled, you must remove the

ØRelease the lowersection bypulling it forwards
(2.).

move it easily.
Closethelower section.
ØClose the lowersection bypushing it upwardsuntil
the two magneticfasteners can be heard to click
together.
