1. INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the BERGOFF X5 PRO hand held food processor which has been
designed and manufactured to give you many years of trouble-free service. You may already be
familiar with using a similar product, but do please take time to read these instructions – they
have been written to ensure you get the very best fromyour purchase.
Safety is important!
For yours and others safety please read the instructions before using the appliance. Please
keep this instruction in a safe place for the further use. If you pass the appliance on, pass on the
instructions too. Remove all packaging, but keep it until you are satised that the appliance is
working.
2. IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When use electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the
following:
• Always unplug the appliance before assembling, disassembling, cleaning.
• Before plugging into a socket, check whether your voltage corresponds to the rating label of
the appliance.
• Don’t plug the appliance into the power supply until it is fully assembled and always unplug
before disassembling the appliance or handle the blade.
• Don’t allow children to use the blender without supervision.
• Don’t let the motor unit, cord, or plug get wet.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to an authorized
Bergho dealership for examination, repair or adjustment.
• Don’t let excess cord hang over the edge of the table or worktop or touch hot surface.
• Don’t place the appliance in the hot ingredients.
• The appliance is constructed to process normal household quantities.
• Short-time operating. Use the appliance for no longer than 1 minute, and don’t operate hard
food for no longer than 10 seconds.
• If you press switch I, you can run the inching switch to meet your request. But the switch II is
immutable.
• Always disconnect the blender from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling,
disassembling or cleaning.
They shall state that care shall be take when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the
bowl and during cleaning.
• Switch o the appliance and disconnected from supply before changing accessories or
approaching parts which move in use.
• This appliance is not intended for use by people (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been

given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for
their safety. Prevent children to reach the appliance.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not use this appliance near water contained in basins like bathtubs, washbasins, etc.
• Do not use any abrasive substance for cleaning the appliance. You could clean the surface with
a damp cloth.
• Do not abuse the electrical cord. Never disconnect from outlet by pulling the power cord.
Always use the body of the plug for disconnecting the appliance.
• Do not bend the power cord. Do not keep the folded power cord.
• Always unplug the appliance after use.

4. USAGE
The hand blender is perfectly suited for preparing dips, sauces, soups, mayonnaise and baby
food as well as for mixing and milkshakes.
• Put the blades into the blender.
• One touch button to control the speed with one hand
• Use the hand blender for no longer than 1 minute.
• Caution: The blade is very sharp!
• Caution: Don’t operate food without water!
The function of each blade:
Meat mincer
Cuts, chops and minces meat and sh (cooked or uncooked) as well as vegetables with coarse
bres. Only suitable for meat that contains no bones and only few sinews. Most sinews tend to
wind around the attachment shaft of the mincer and need to be removed manually.
Cut the meat, sh or vegetables into cubes of approx. 1cm and place them in a receptacle.
Do not process more than 500g per batch. The meat mincer has sharp edges. Risk of injury,
especially when the meat mincer is rotating.
Beater
Beats, aerates, blends egg-white and cream, perfect to whip up soups and sauces. For all food
that needs to be light and uy. The beater has sharp edges. Risk of injury, especially when the
beater is rotating.
Whisk
Stirs and mixes shakes, drinks, purees, mashed potatoes, salad sauces, mayonnaise etc. Ideal for
foods of a thick or creamy consistency. The whisk has sharp edges. Risk of injury, especially when
the whisk is rotating.
Milk frother
Milk frother for froth the milk and mix the cream. For the better result, please tilt the machine
with the beaker.
Multi-purpose blade
Cuts, chops and purees raw or cooked vegetables, fruit, berries, baby food, cooked meat, frozen
fruit (for sorbets), jam and even ice cubes. Blends soups and sauces. Mixes cake and pancake
batters. Perfect for all heavy ingredients. The multi-purpose blade has sharp edges. Risk of injury,
especially when the multi-purpose blade is rotating.
5. CLEANING OF THE APPLIANCE
Cleaning the motor unit and chopping bowl lid with a damp cloth only. Do not immerse the
motor unit in water!
• All other parts can be cleaned in the dish washer. However, after processing very salty food,
you should raise the blades under water.
• Also, be careful not to use an overdose of cleaner or decalcify in your dishwasher.
• When processing food with color, the plastic parts of the appliance may become discolored.
Wipe these parts with vegetable oil before placing them in the dishwasher.
• The blades are very sharp, please attention.
• Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
