FEATURES
Before First Use:
Wash lid, bowl, blade and bowl mat in hot soapy water and rinse well. The blade is sharp;
handle with extreme care. Make sure the lid, bowl, blade and bowl mat have dried com-
pletely before using the appliance.
1. Place the bowl on a counter or flat level surface. Carefully slide the blade down over
the shaft in the bowl. Be careful not to touch the blade as it is extremely sharp.
2. Place food in the bowl, certain foods may need to be cut to fit in the chopping bowl.
3. Place the bowl lid onto the bowl, then position the motor onto the bowl. The emboss-
ment on the bowl cover is linked with the hole on the motor. It is very important that
the holes in the motor and the top of the blade line up completely or the motor will not
lock in place. The unit will not operate properly if the motor is not locked in place.
4. Press the power button to activate the chopper. NOTE: It is recommended that you
“pulse” the power button while chopping for certain foods. Holding down the power
button will cause certian foods to over chop.
5. Make sure the blade stops moving COMPLETELY before removing the motor, you
may need to grasp the plastic blade hub to remove the motor, and bowl cover. Unplug
the unit. Carefully remove the blade from the bowl prior to removing the processed
food. Do not use the bowl for storing food.
