Outdoor Fire Pits Proper Care & Maintenance
Poly Material:Poly Fire Pits are made from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), a recyclable plastic that will never need to be painted
or stained. It will not rot or splinter, and it contains an added UV protective agent to resist fading. Poly material is not aected by most
corrosive substances, and will not promote bacterial growth.
Cleaning: To maintain the beauty of your Poly Fire Pit, clean it regularly with soap and water. Use only nonabrasive soaps. While most
colors need to be cleaned only several times per year, certain colors such as White, (but not limited to this color) need to be cleaned
frequently in order to maintain its original beauty. In extreme situations and with colors such as White, spray the material thoroughly
with a nonabrasive cleaner then scrub using a so bristle brush and rinse it o with warm clean water. If needed spray the Poly Fire Pit
with a nonabrasive cleaner and wash it using a high pressure washer. Do not place the tip of your pressure washer closer than 12”, or it
will tear into the poly material. Your pressure washer should not exceed 2,800 PSI.
Melting and Stains: A Glass Wind Guard must be installed on Fire Pits with Poly Tops at all times to keep ames from touching the
material and avoid melting. Lighting or burning a re pit without the glass wind guard installed may result in melting of the poly
material and voids the warranty. If any colored liquids such as wine, or so drinks are spilled on your top, clean immediately to avoid
possible stains. Do not place ower pots or any items that will leave stains on re pit. Do not place hot items directly on the top to
avoid melting.
Stainless Steel Components: Stainless Steel Heat Barrier used on Poly Tops to distance ames and heat from the material are 304 grade
stainless steel and may rust in normal outdoor conditions and/or coastal areas. In extreme conditions such as coastal areas, it is recom-
mended to regularly rinse Stainless Steel Components with fresh water to help prevent rusting. When not in use, covering your re pit
with a waterproof re pit cover is recommended to minimize the chances of rust.
Burner: See page nine (9) of the Crystal Fire Manual included with the Burner. Carefully read and follow all warnings and instructions
regarding use, service and maintenance.
Concrete Tops Proper Care & Maintenance
Concrete Material: Your Concrete Top is molded from a special concrete mix that is reinforced with Glass-Fiber. Known as GFRC
(Glass-Fiber Reinforced Concrete), these tops provide exceptional strength and durability in comparison to traditional concrete. You
may notice color and texture variation in your concrete top because it is designed to replicate a unique natural stone look. Concrete
tops may incur non-structural cracks in the surface over time. is is normal due to the physical properties of concrete and does not
aect the structural integrity of the top.
Cleaning: To maintain the beauty of your Concrete Fire Pit Top, clean it regularly with soap and water. Use only nonabrasive soaps. We
recommend a mixture of mild soap such as simple green and warm water, rinse thoroughly.
Stains: If any colored liquids such as wine, or so drinks are spilled on your top, clean immediately to avoid possible staining. Do not
place ower pots or any items that will leave stains on re pit. Do not place hot items directly on the top to avoid discoloration.
Sealer: A protective sealer is applied to your concrete top before shipping. We use a concrete sealer that is available exclusively to
Berlin Gardens and under normal conditions should have a 3 - 5 year life span. e sealer both brings out the colors in your top and
helps protect it from stains and normal outdoor elements. Because of varying porosity in concrete sealer, it may be absorbed dier-
ently throughout the top resulting in varying luster. Some indicators that you need to reseal your top are if it loses luster and color. We
recommend resealing your top as needed using Berlin Gardens Concrete Sealer available through your local dealer. Sealer should be
applied with a roller only aer carefully cleaning all dust and debris from the concrete’s surface. Be careful to follow the instructions on
the Concrete Sealer container.

OUTDOOR FIRE PIT WARRANTY
Berlin Gardens, LLC (“Berlin Gardens”) extends the following warranty to the original purchaser of its outdoor fire pit. This warranty
applies only to the original owner of the Product and is non-transferable. The warranty is effective starting on the date of purchase.
Polyethylene Fire Pits with a Polyethylene Top are warranted to be free of original defects in workmanship and materials for a
period of ten (10) years of residential use or two (2) years of commercial use. A glass wind guard must be installed on Fire Pits with
Polyethylene Tops at all times to keep flames from touching the material and avoid melting. Lighting or burning a fire pit without the
glass wind guard installed may result in melting of the polyethylene material and voids this warranty. Polyethylene is a synthetic
product and may scratch or fade slightly when exposed to sunlight or stain after prolonged contact with other substances. Some
expansion and contraction is to be expected due to extreme changes in humidity and temperature. This warranty also does not
cover scratching or chipping of polyethylene, however, this warranty shall not limit any warranties made by the manufacturer for
such items which may extend to you. Stainless Steel Heat Barrier used on Polyethylene Tops to distance flames and heat from the
Polyethylene material are 304 grade stainless steel and may rust in normal outdoor conditions and/or coastal areas. Rusting that
does not affect the structural integrity of the Stainless Steel Heat Barrier is not covered by this warranty. When not in use, covering a
fire pit with a waterproof fire pit cover is recommended and may minimize but not eliminate the possibility of rust.
Polyethylene Fire Pits with a Concrete Top are warranted to be free of original defects in workmanship and materials for a period of
five (5) years of residential use or one (1) year of commercial use. Concrete tops are created to achieve a natural stone look and
may have variations in colors, surface textures and edge textures within a given top or multiple tops. This is not to be considered a
defect and is not covered by this warranty. Concrete tops may incur non-structural cracks, scratch or fade from normal use and
exposure to sunlight or stain from prolonged contact with other substances. This warranty does not cover non-structural cracks,
scratching or chipping of concrete.
At its option, Berlin Gardens will repair or replace these products without charge for materials and labor, providing our inspection
indicates that an original defect exists. Should Berlin Gardens choose to replace the product, and the product is no longer available
at the time warranty service is required, a substitution of similar performance and equal or greater value will be made. The
foregoing shall not be considered defects in materials or workmanship and are not covered under this warranty. Stainless steel
fasteners are warranted not to fail structurally for the applicable warranty period. Stainless steel may rust in certain extreme
conditions (such as coastal areas) if not maintained. This warranty does not cover rusting fasteners or structural failure due to
rusting fasteners, damage caused by unauthorized service or repair, alteration of this product, abuse or misuse, normal wear and
tear on materials, or any attempt to use the product in a manner or for a purpose other than for which it is customarily intended.
Stainless Steel Burners and all part and components for burners are provided by “The Outdoor GreatRoom Company”. The Outdoor
GreatRoom Company warrants this Outdoor GreatRoom Product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period
