DESTINAZIONE D’USO
Il salda graffette per la riparazione di parti in plastica, è destinato al seguente uso:
• riparazioni di componenti in materiale plastico es. carrozzerie d’auto, motocicli
• riparazioni di paraurti e parafanghi, ecc.
Non sono consentite le seguenti operazioni:
• è vietato l’uso di graffette non metalliche
 •nonèindicatoperl’usosuvetroresinaobradicarbonio

SICUREZZA DELLA POSTAZIONE DI LAVORO
Utilizzare il salda graffette in una zona asciutta evitando umidità.
Nonutilizzareilsaldagraffetteinambienticontenentiatmosferepotenzialmenteesplosiveperchépossono
svilupparsi scintille in grado di incendiare polveri o vapori.
E’consigliabileevitareilcontattoconapparecchiatureintensione,inquantopossonocausareunascossa
elettrica.
Impedirechebambiniovisitatoripossanoavvicinarsiallapostazionedilavoromentresistaoperandocon
il salda graffette. La presenza di altre persone provoca distrazione e può comportare la perdita del controllo
durante l’utilizzo.
Nonutilizzareilsaldagraffetteinprossimitàdimaterialeinammabile.
SICUREZZA SALDA GRAFFETTE
Controllareprimadell’utilizzocheilsaldagraffettenonabbiasubitodanneggiamenti,chenonvisianocaviscopertioparti
usurate.
Non manomettere il circuito elettronico del dispositivo salda graffette.
INDICAZIONE PER LA SICUREZZA DEL PERSONALE
Si raccomanda la massima attenzione, avendo cura di concentrarsi sempre sulle proprie azioni. Non utilizzare il salda graffette
incasodistanchezzaosottol’effettodidroghe,bevandealcolicheomedicinali.

Utilizzare sempre i seguenti dispositivi individuali di protezione:
• scarpe di sicurezza
• occhiali di protezione
• guanti di protezione anticalore
 •mascheradiprotezioneperagentisici
Durante l’utilizzo la graffetta si surriscalda, in questa fase non toccare mai la graffetta a mani nude.
Nonutilizzareilsaldagraffetteconlemaniumideobagnate.
Effettuarelasaldaturainambientiadeguatamenteareatiedasciutti.
Non inalare eventuali gas nocivi sprigionati durante l’operazione di saldatura.
Prestareattenzioneapossibiligoccediplasticafusa.
Prima di riporre il salda graffette assicurarsi che gli elettrodi della pistola, si siano raffreddati raggiungendo la temperatura
ambiente.
UTILIZZO ACCURATO DEL SALDA GRAFFETTE
Nonsottoporreilsaldagraffettealsovraccaricoditensione,vericaresemprel’integrità.
Quandoilsaldagraffettenonvieneutilizzatoconservarloaldifuoridelraggiodiaccessodeibambini.Nonpermetterediusare
ilsaldagraffetteapersonechenonabbianolettolepresentiistruzioni.
Ilsaldagraffettenondeveesseremodicato.Lemodichepossonoridurrel’efcaciadellemisuredisicurezzaedaumentarei
rischi per l’operatore.
Farriparareilsaldagraffettesoloedesclusivamentedapersonalespecializzatoesoloimpiegandopezzidiricambiooriginali.
Per la pulizia utilizzare un panno asciutto, scollegando sempre l’alimentazione di rete dal salda graffette. Non utilizzare mai
panniumidiobagnati.
INDICAZIONI DI SICUREZZA PER IL SALDA GRAFFETTE
Periodicamentevericarel’integritàdelsaldagraffette,delcavodialimentazioneedelcavodellapistolasaldatrice.
Nonutilizzareilsaldagraffetteseèdanneggiato,poichévièrischiodiscosseelettriche.
Collegare il cavo di alimentazione alla presa di rete, assicurandosi che la tensione di rete sia quella indicata sul dispositivo di
alimentazione.(VederetabellaDATITECNICI)
Non coprire in alcun modo il dispositivo elettrico del salda graffette durante il suo l’utilizzo. Garantire uno spazio adeguato per
la ventilazione.
Staccare la presa di alimentazione quando il salda graffette non è in uso.
Nonutilizzareilsaldagraffetteinambientiumidi,bagnati,nonesporloapioggia.Ambientiumidiecontaminatiaumentanoil
rischio di scosse elettriche.
Seilsaldagraffetteèdanneggiatoononfunzionante,noncercarediaprirloomodicarlo.

UTILIZZO
Collegare il cavo di alimentazione alla presa di rete, assicurandosi che la tensione di rete sia quella indicata sul dispositivo o in
tabellaDATITECNICI:
• Accendere il dispositivo tramite l’interruttore ON/OFF.
 •Selezionarelapotenzadesiderata,MIN(es.perplasticheconspessoredi2mm)MAX(es.perplastichecon
 spessoremaggioredi2mm).
 •Inbasealtipodisaldaturadaeseguire,prelevareiltipoeformadigraffetta,inserirlaneiforideglielettrodidella
 pistola(utilizzandoiforiposizionatisullaestremitàdellapuntaoquellipostilateralmentea90°).
 •L’operazionedisaldaturaèdaeffettuaredallaparteinternanonvisibiledelpezzodanneggiato.
• Premere il pulsante sulla pistola, per alcuni secondi, in modo da riscaldare la graffetta.
• Tenendo unite le parti da saldare inserire la graffetta nella plastica esercitando una leggera pressione, introdurla
 noallaprofonditàdesiderata,tenendosemprepremutoilpulsantesullapistola.
 •Rilasciareilpulsante,mantenendofermalagraffettanellaposizionedesiderata,noalsuoraffreddamento(alcuni
 secondi).Estrarrelapistoladallagraffetta.
 •Ripeterel’operazioneinserendoulteriorigraffettenoalcompletamentodellariparazione.

Prima di inserire la graffetta nell’elettrodo della pistola, assicurarsi che gli elettrodi si siano raffreddati.
 •Adoperazionecompletatatagliarelesporgenzeineccessodellegraffette.Smerigliareerinire.
• Terminato l’utilizzo del salda graffette, spegnere il dispositivo tramite l’interruttore ON/OFF ed assicurarsi inoltre
 cheglielettrodidellapistola,sisianoraffreddatiraggiungendolatemperaturaambiente.
Riporre il salda graffette in una zona asciutta e priva di umidità. Per la pulizia del corpo esterno utilizzare un panno asciutto.
MANUTENZIONE
Gli interventi di manutenzione e di riparazione devono essere eseguiti da personale specializzato. Per tali interventi potete
rivolgervi al centro riparazioni di Beta Utensili S.P.A.

L’utilizzatore che intendesse smaltire questo strumento può:
 -Consegnarlopressouncentrodiraccoltadiriutielettroniciodelettrotecnici.
- Riconsegnarlo al proprio rivenditore al momento dell’acquisto di uno strumento equivalente.
- Nel caso di prodotti ad uso esclusivo professionale, contattare il produttore che dovrà disporre una procedura per
il corretto smaltimento.
Ilcorrettosmaltimentodiquestoprodottopermetteilriutilizzodellematerieprimeinessocontenuteedevitadanniall’ambiente
ed alla salute umana.
Losmaltimentoabusivo delprodotto costituisce unaviolazione dellanormasullo smaltimentodi riuti pericolosi,comporta
l’applicazione delle sanzioni previste.
GARANZIA
QuestaattrezzaturaèfabbricataecollaudatasecondolenormeattualmentevigentinellaComunitàEuropea.E’copertada
garanzia per un periodo di 12 mesi per uso professionale o 24 mesi per uso non professionale.
Vengono riparati guasti dovuti a difetti di materiale o di produzione, mediante ripristino o sostituzione dei pezzi difettosi a nostra
discrezione.
L’effettuazionediunoopiùinterventinelperiododigaranzianonmodicaladatadiscadenzadellastessa.
Non sono soggetti a garanzia difetti dovuti all’usura, all’uso errato od improprio e a rotture causate da colpi e/o cadute.
Lagaranziadecadequandovengonoapportatemodiche,quandol’utensilepneumaticovienemanomessooquandoviene
inviato all’assistenza smontato.
Sono espressamente esclusi danni causati a persone e/o cose di qualsiasi genere e/o natura, diretti e/o indiretti.

PURPOSE OF USE
Thestaplewelderforrepairingplasticpartscanbeusedforthefollowingpurposes:

Thestapleweldermustnotbeusedforthefollowingoperations:
 •thestapleweldermustnotbeusedwithnon-metalstaples
 •thestapleweldershouldbeusedonneitherbreglassnorcarbonbre
 •thestapleweldermustnotbeusedatanytemperaturesotherthanthosestatedintheTECHNICALDATAtable
 •thestapleweldermustnotbeusedinenvironmentscontainingpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres
 •thestapleweldermustnotbeusedinhumidorwetenvironments,andmustnotbeexposedtorainorsnow
 •thestapleweldermustnotbeusedforanyapplicationsotherthanstatedones
WORK AREA SAFETY
Use the staple welder in a dry area, avoiding humidity.
Donotoperatethestaplewelderinenvironmentscontainingpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres,becausesparks
maybegenerated,whichcanignitethedustorfumes.
Contactwithliveequipmentshouldbeavoided,becauseelectricshocksmaybecaused.
Keepchildrenandbystandersawayfromyourworkplacewhileoperatingthestaplewelder.Distractionsfrom
other people can cause you to lose control during use.
Donotusethestapleweldernearammablematerial.
STAPLE WELDER SAFETY
Beforeuse,checkthatthestaplewelderhasnotbeendamaged,andthattherearenobarecablesorwornparts.
Do not tamper with the electronic circuit of the staple welding device.
PERSONNEL SAFETY
Stayalert;watchwhatyouaredoing.Donotusethestaplewelderwhiletiredorundertheinuenceofdrugs,alcohol,or
medication.

Always use the following personal protective equipment:
• safety shoes;
• eye protection;
• heat protection gloves;
• protective mask against physical agents.
Duringusethestaplegetsoverheated;neverusethestaplewithbarehandsatthisstage.
Do not use the staple welder with humid or wet hands.
Carry out welding operations in well-aired, dry environments.
Donotinhaleanyharmfulgasesthatmaybereleasedduringweldingoperations.
Pay attention to melted plastic residues.
Before replacing the staple welder, make sure that the electrodes of the gun have cooled to room temperature.
STAPLE WELDER USE AND CARE
Donotsubjectthestapleweldertovoltageoverloads;alwayscheckthatitisfreefromdefects.
When not in use, store the staple welder out of the reach of children. Do not allow persons unfamiliar with these instructions to
operate the staple welder.
Do not modify the staple welder. This can reduce the effectiveness of safety measures and increase operator risk.
Have the staple welder repaired only through a trained repair person and only using original replacement parts.
Tocleanthestaplewelder,useadrycloth.Alwaysdisconnectthestaplewelderfromthepowersupplymainsbeforecleaningit.
Never use damp or wet cloths.
STAPLE WELDER SAFETY
Periodicallycheckthatthestaplewelder,thepowersupplycableandthestapleweldercablearefreefromdefects.
Donotusethestaplewelderifdamaged,becauseelectricshocksmayoccur.
Connectthepowersupplycabletothemainssocket,checkingthatthemainsvoltagematchesthevoltagestatedonthepower
supplydevice(seeTECHNICALDATAtable).
Do not cover the electrical device of the staple welder while using it. Allow for an adequate amount of space for ventilation.
Unplug the staple welder when not in use.
Donotusethestaplewelderinhumidorwetenvironments;donotexposeittorain.Wetandcontaminatedenvironments
increase the risk of electric shocks.
Do not attempt to open or modify the staple welder when damaged or not running.

USE
Connectthepowersupplycabletothemainssocket,checkingthatthemainsvoltagematchesthevoltagestatedonthedevice
orintheTECHNICALDATAtable:
• Use the ON/OFF switch to turn the device on.
 •Selecttherequiredpower–MIN(e.g.forplastic2mminthickness)MAX(e.g.forplasticexceeding2mm
 inthickness).
 •Takeastapleofthetypeandshaperequiredfortheweldingoperationtoperform;titintotheholesofthegun
 electrodes(usingeithertheholesatthetiporthoselocatedlaterally,atanangleof90°).
 •Theweldingoperationshouldbeperformedfromthenonvisibleinteriorpartofthedamagedpiece.
 •Pressthebuttononthegun,forafewseconds,towarmupthestaple.
 •Holdingthepartstoweldtogether,tthestapleintoplastic,pressingslightly,andreachtherequireddepth,keeping
 thebuttonpressedonthegun.
 •Releasethebutton,holdingthestapleintherequiredposition,untilitcoolsdown(itwilltakeafewseconds).Pull
the gun out of the staple.
 •Repeattheoperation,ttinginadditionalstaples,untiltherepairhasbeencompleted.

Checkthattheelectrodeshavecooleddownbeforettingthestapleintothegunelectrode.
 •Aftercompletingtheoperation,cuttheprojectingpartsofthestaples.Grindandnish.
• Finally, use the ON/OFF switch to turn the staple welder off, making sure that the gun electrodes have cooled to
room temperature.
Replacethestaplewelderinadry,non-humidarea.Useadryclothtocleantheouterbody.
MAINTENANCE
Maintenanceandrepairjobsmustbecarriedoutbytrainedpersonnelonly.Forsuchjobs,youcancontactBetaUtensiliS.P.A.’s
repair centre through your Beta dealer.
DISPOSAL
Thecrossed-outwheeliebinsymbolontheequipmentorpackagingmeansthattheproductshouldbecollectedseparatelyfrom
othertypesofurbanwasteattheendofitsusefullife.
Any user who is going to dispose of this tool can:
- deliver it to an appropriate collection facility for electronic and electrotechnical equipment;
- return it to the dealer upon purchase of a new, equivalent item of equipment;
 -incaseofproductforprofessionaluseonly,contactthemanufacturerwhichwillarrangefortheproducttobe
properly disposed of.
Properdisposalofthisproductallowstherawmaterialscontainedinittobereusedandpreventsdamagetotheenvironment
and human health.
Illegal disposal of this product is a violation of the provision concerning the disposal of hazardous waste and will give way to the
applicationofsuchnesasprovidedforundercurrentregulations.
WARRANTY
ThisdeviceismanufacturedandtestedinaccordancewithcurrentEUregulations.Itiscoveredbya12-monthwarrantyfor
professional use or a 24-month warranty for nonprofessional use.
Wewillrepairanybreakdownscausedbymaterialormanufacturingdefectsbyxingthedefectivepiecesorreplacingthemat
our discretion.
Shouldassistanceberequiredonceorseveraltimesduringthewarrantyperiod,theexpirydateofthiswarrantywillremain
unchanged.
Thiswarrantywillnotcoverdefectsduetowear,misuseorbreakdownscausedbyblowsand/orfalls.Inaddition,thiswarranty
willnolongerbevalidifanychangesaremade,orifthepneumatictoolisforcedorsenttothecustomerserviceinpieces.
Thiswarrantyexplicitlyexcludesanydamagetopeopleand/orthings,whetherdirectorconsequential.

 •Laoperacióndesoldadurahadellevarseacabodesdelaparteinternanovisibledelapiezadañada.

• Manteniendo unidas las piezas a soldar introduzca la grapa en la pieza de plástico presionado ligeramente,
 introdúzcalahastalaprofundidaddeseada,manteniendosiemprepulsadoelbotónenlapistola.
 •Suelteelpulsador,manteniendoquietalagrapaenlaposicióndeseada,hastaqueseenfríe(unossegundos).
Retire la pistola de la grapa.
• Repita la operación incorporando otras grapas hasta completar la reparación.
