1. Safety Instructions
• Check the device for transport damages upon receipt
• Observe the operating instructions and always keep it next to
the equipment
• It must be excluded that unauthorised persons operate
the equipment
• Secure the dispensing equipment during the cleaning
against use
• Do only use with water cocks not connected to a low-
pressure flow heater
• We do not accept any liability for damages caused by
use of not original parts and accessories, or due to inappropri-
ate handling

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Designated use
• Bevi Handy is appropriate only for chemo-mechanical
service cleaning of beverage lines
• Observe information from the manufacturer of equip-
ment and cleansing agent
3.2 Connection
• Remove the dispenser heads from the barrels and unscrew beer
lines
• Connect two beer lines with the connecting piece
• Connect the water supply (2) with the rinsing pipe 3/8" under the
counter
• Place the water drain (3) into the sink
• Dismount compensator taps or piston taps, and use correspond-
ing cleaning adapters (in case of ball /tap cocks directly connect
the connecting hose with the cock)
• Connect the tap connections (1) with the drain sleeve /cleaning
adapter

3.3 Cleaning
• Detach the adapter sight glass from the device by slightly turn-
ing it to the left, place the cleaning sponge (observe line diame-
ter), and fasten again
• Open the water cock
• Possible beverage residues and accumulation of grime are
flushed out of the system
• Close the water cock after the sponge has passed 2 times
• Detach the adapter sight glass, add to the sponge a Bevi Tab
placing it flat (see Fig. below), and fasten again
• Open the water cock
• When using Bevi Tab, close the water cock after cleansing
agent and sponge have reached the opposite adapter sight
glass
• Let it act for 15 to 30 minutes
• Open the water cock and rinse sufficiently
• Change the travel direction of the sponge several times using
the operating lever
• Pay attention that the equipment is free from cleansing agent,
check e.g. with pH indicator paper

4. Cleaning and Service
• Disinfect inside and outside of the equipment in regu-
lar intervals, e. g. with Bevi Desinfect (Attention: do
not use alcohol-containing agents)
5. General Information
• It is only allowed to connect the equipment with water cocks
without low-pressure flow heaters
• Protect the equipment against temperatures below
freezing point (risk of freezing and destruction of the
pump)
• Do only use customary cleansing agents (e. g. Bevi
Tab)
• When operating the equipment properly the warranty for compo-
nents is of 1 year
