1. CONSIGNE DE SECURITÉ
- Suivre les instructions d’entretien stipulées dans cette notice.
- Cet appareil peut être utilisé pour un usage personnel à domicile.
- Cet appareil ne doit être utilisé que pour l’usage auquel il est destiné tel que décrit dans cette
notice.
- Cet appareil ne doit être utilisé que dans une plage de température ambiante comprise entre
15 et 40 °C/ 59°F et 104°F.
- Cet appareil doit toujours être placé dans un endroit propre et sec.
- Ne pas exposer cet appareil aux chocs électriques.

2. PRÉCAUTIONS AVANT UTILISATION
LE MYTHERMO BWCX10 EST PRÉPARAMETRÉ EN SORTIE D’USINE. IL N’EST PAS NÉCESSAIRE
D’ÉTALONNER L’APPAREIL LORS DE SA MISE EN SERVICE.
Afin d’obtenir un résultat fiable et stable, il est conseillé, à chaque changement d’environnement
avec une différence de température ambiante importante, de laisser le MyThermo BW-CX10 à
cette température ambiante pendant 15 à 20 minutes avant son utilisation. Il est important de
respecter un délai de 1 minute entre deux prises.
- Le verre protecteur de la lentille est la partie la plus fragile du thermomètre.
- Ne pas toucher le verre de la lentille infrarouge avec les doigts.
- Nettoyer le verre avec un coton-tige légèrement imbibé d’alcool a 70°.
- Ne pas mettre le thermomètre en contact avec une peau malade, ulcérée ou meurtrie.
- Ne pas boire des boissons chaudes ou froides, et ne pas faire d’exercice violent pendant la prise
de température
3. INTRODUCTION
Le MyThermo BW-CX10 est un thermomètre infrarouge spécialement conçu pour prendre
la température corporelle des enfants ou adultes sans contact avec le corps humain. Sa
technologie permet la mesure de la température sur l’artère temporale (AT) à une distance
d’environ 2 à 5 cm/ 1 à 2 in du front/de la tempe.
Précis et instantané, le MyThermo BW-CX10 est un thermomètre parfaitement adapté pour
une mesure de la température en toute sécurité. Il peut être utilisé à la maison ou par des
professionnels de santé. Toutefois, il est impératif d’utiliser le le MyThermo BW-CX10 de façon
appropriée afin d’obtenir un résultat fiable et stable. Il est donc conseillé de lire attentivement la
notice d’utilisation ainsi que les consignes de sécurité avant utilisation.
4. PRINCIPES DE FONTIONNEMENT
Chaque corps, solide, liquide ou gazeux, a la propriété d’émettre de l’énergie par radiation
avec une intensité qui est fonction de sa température. Le thermomètre infrarouge MyThermo
BW-CX10 permet de mesurer la température d’une personne par le biais de l’énergie qu’elle
dégage. Cette prise devient possible grâce la sonde de température externe de l’appareil qui
analyse et enregistre en permanence la température ambiante. De telle sorte que, dès que
l’operateur approche le thermomètre près du corps et déclenche le capteur de rayonnement,
la mesure s’effectue instantanément par détection de la chaleur infrarouge émise par le flux
sanguin artériel. Le résultat de cette mesure de température corporelle est alors obtenu sans
interférence avec la chaleur environnante.
Avantages de la prise de la température de l’artère temporale (AT)
La température infrarouge artérielle peut être mesurée au moyen d’un dispositif placé sur le
front, dans la région de l’artère temporale.
Le thermomètre MyThermo BW-CX10 a été conçu pour la mesure instantanée de la température
temporale/frontale sans contact physique avec l’artère temporale. Cette artère étant
relativement proche de la surface de la peau et donc accessible, le flux sanguin y est permanent
et régulier et permet une mesure préciser de la température. Cette artère est reliée au cœur
par l’artère carotide, elle-même directement reliée à l’aorte. Elle fait partie du système artériel
central. L’efficacité, la rapidité et le confort de la prise de température à cet endroit la rendent
idéale.
Considérations pratiques de la prise de la température
- Dans un souci de précision et de qualité de mesure, il est indispensable que chaque utilisateur
soit suffisamment informé et formé à la technique de prise de température avec un tel
dispositif.
- Il est essentiel de rappeler que les procédures de prise de la température, bien que basiques,
ne doivent pas être ignorées.
- Le patient ne doit pas effectuer d’activités physiques intenses avant la prise de sa température.
- Les fluctuations de température dues à des facteurs physiologiques doivent être prises en
considération dans l’évaluation des résultats :
• la température augmente de 0,5°C / 0,9°F entre 6H et 15H,
• la température des femmes est en moyenne supérieure d’environ 0,2°C / 0,36°F, et varie, par
ailleurs, en fonction de leur cycle ovarien,
• elle augmente de 0,5°C / 0,9°F au cours de la première moitié du cycle et au cours des premiers
mois de la grossesse.
- La température d’une personne assise est inférieure d’environ 0,3°C - 0,4°C / 0,54°F - 0,52°F à
celle d’une personne debout.

Dirigez le dispositif vers le FRONT, au niveau de la région temporale droite, à une distance
d’environ 2-5 cm / 1-2 in, appuyez sur le bouton de mesure du thermomètre, et la température
s’affiche instantanément.
Contraintes
Veuillez observer la procédure ci-dessous avant toute mesure de la température, afin de vous
assurer d’un résultat stable et fiable :
- Dégager le front des cheveux.
- Essuyer, le cas échéant, la sueur du front.
- Éviter les courants d’air/tout flux d’air important (lunette d'oxygénation, climatisation...).
- Respecter un délai de 1 minute entre deux prises.

La fiabilité de la mesure ne peut pas être garantie de température sur une autre région
anatomique (ex: bras, torse...).
5. FONCTIONS
1. Résultat de la mesure fiable et stable, grâce au système de détection infrarouge HEIMMANN.
2. Alarme sonore en cas de température supérieure au seuil pré-défini (chapitre 9-4).
3. Diagnostic de température : indicateur de couleur (vert, jaune ou rouge) pour aider à
l'interprétation de la mesure obtenue.
4. Écran digital LCD rétroéclairé.
5. Connexion Bluetooth pour suivre la courbe de température via l’application BewellConnect
MyThermo.
6. Choix de l’affichage des données en degré Celsius ou Fahrenheit.

Applications secondaires :
Le MyThermo BW-CX10 permet également de mesurer la température d’une surface ou la
température ambiante (via le mode de SURFACE TEMP ou ROOM).
6. CHARGEMENT DE LA BATTERIE
Avant d’utiliser MyThermo pour la première fois, veuillez charger la batterie via le câble USB.
Cette fonction, est en conformité avec la directive européenne 89/336/EEC – Compatibilité
Électromagnétique.
INDICATEUR DE CHARGE
Lorsque le MyThermo est déchargé, le symbole s’affiche à l’écran pour indiquer l’état de
déchargement.
Vous pouvez continuer à utiliser le MyThermo qui émettra 5 bips sonores continus et s’éteindra
automatiquement lorsque la batterie sera totalement déchargée.
Lorsque la batterie du MyThermo est completement rechargée, l’alimentation est
automatiquement mise à l’arrêt, ce qui évite une surcharge et prolonge la vie de la batterie.
Recharger la batterie tous les 6 mois si l’appareil n’est pas utilisé durant une longue période.

8. PREMIÈRE CONFIGURATION DE MYTHERMO BWCX10
- Branchez le câble USB fourni à votre ordinateur pour charger l'appareil. Une fois le chargement
terminé, vous pouvez débrancher le câble.
- Àla première utilisation, attendez environ 10 minutes la mise à température ambiante de
l'appareil.
- Dirigez l'appareil vers le lobe temporal ou un côté/une tempe du front, comme le montre
la FIGURE

température s'affiche instantanément.
- Vous pouvez alors transférer vos données vers l’application BewellConnect en appuyant sur la

Appuyez sur la touche MODE pour sélectionner le mode de prise de températures.
L’écran affiche : B pour le mode Body - prise de température corporelle,
Appuyez de nouveau sur la touche MODE pour passer au mode SURFACE TEMP. L’écran affiche S.
Appuyez de nouveau sur la touche MODE pour passer au mode ROOM. L’écran affiche R.
NOTE : LE MYTHERMO BW-CX10 EST PARAMÉTRÉ PAR DÉFAUT SUR BODY.
Important : la température d'une surface diffère de la température corporelle interne.
La température corporelle s’obtient uniquement en utilisant le mode BODY.
Veuillez à bien sélectionner le mode BODY pour la mesure d’une température interne et le mode

9.2. CHOIX DE L’UNITÉ DE TEMPÉRATURE
Appuyez sur la touche °C/°F pour sélectionner l’unité de température. Àl’écran, s’affiche le
symbole de l’unité choisie (°C pour les degrés Celsius, °F pour les degrés Fahrenheit).
9.3. MÉMORISATION DES DONNÉES
Les données transférées via Bluetooth sont mémorisées sur l'application BewellConnect
MyThermo. Vous pouvez suivre l'historique de vos mesures sur votre smartphone ou votre
tablette.
9.4 RÉGLAGE DE L’ALARME  F1
Appuyez sur le bouton de mesure pour allumer le dispositif.
Appuyez sur le bouton °C/°F jusqu'à ce que F1 s'affiche à l'écran.
Le seuil d'alarme s'affiche (38°C /100.4 °F par défaut). Un bip retentira en cas de mesure
supérieure à ce seuil.
Pour modifier ce seuil, appuyez brièvement sur le bouton MODE pour le diminuer ou sur le
bouton °C/°F pour l’augmenter.
Appuyez ensuite sur le bouton °C/°F quelques secondes pour afficher le menu suivant (F2).
Il est déconseillé de changer le paramétrage de l'alarme sans l'avis de votre médecin.
9.5. ÉCART TOTAL  F2
Pour ajuster l’écart de température de MyThermo BW-CX10 :
Appuyez sur le bouton °C/°F pendant trois secondes jusqu'à ce que F1 s'affiche à l'écran.
Appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton pendant quelques secondes pour afficher le menu F2.
Appuyez sur le bouton Mode °C/°F pour modifier l'écart total de +/- 0,1°C / 0,1°F.
Confirmez votre nouveau RÉGLAGE en appuyant sur le bouton °C/°F pendant trois secondes afin
d’afficher le menu F3.
En cas de doute, il est conseillé de conserver le paramètre initial à + 0,0°C / 0,1°F .
9.6 AJOUT OU SUPPRESSION DU BIP SONORE F3
Appuyez sur le bouton de mesure pour allumer le dispositif.
Appuyez ensuite sur le bouton °C/°F pendant trois secondes pour afficher le menu F1 à l'écran.
Allez jusqu'au menu F3 en appuyant deux fois durant 3 secondes sur le bouton °C/°F.
Appuyez sur le bouton °C/°F pour désactiver le bip sonore (0 s'affiche à l'écran), ou sur la touche
MODE pour l'activer (1 s'affiche à l'écran).
9.7 SORTIE DU MENU DE CONFIGURATION
Appuyez sur le bouton °C/°F pendant trois secondes afin de confirmer les modifications des
réglages et sortir du menu. L’écran LCD affiche END et s’éteint.

L’écran n’affiche rien :
Vérifiez que la batterie du dispositif est suffisamment chargée.
L’écran indique des températures supérieures à 95°:
la température est indiquée en degrés Fahrenheit. Changez l’unité de mesure en degrés Celsius.
L’écran affiche une température corporelle inférieure à 32°C/89,6°F:
Pour mesurer une température corporelle, le mode BODY doit être sélectionné. Si le
thermomètre est en mode SURFACE TEMP ou ROOM la mesure affichée indique la température
affichée, <32°C/89,6°F, correspond à la température externe que dégage votre corps.
L’écran affiche le message HI : La température analysée est au-dessus de la plage de mesure
du mode selectionné, soit plus de 43°C /109,4°F en mode BODY, plus de 93,3°C /199,9°F en
mode SURFACE TEMP.
L’écran affiche le message LO : La température analysée est en-dessous de la plage de mesure
du mode sélectionné, soit moins de 32°C/89,6°F en mode BODY, moins de 0°C/32°F en mode
SURFACE TEMP.

2. PRECAUTIONS BEFORE USE
THE MYTHERMO BW-CX10 IS PRE-CONFIGURED AT THE FACTORY. THE DEVICE DOES NOT HAVE
TO BE CALIBRATED FOR ACTIVATION.
For reliable and stable results you are advised to leave the MyThermo BW-CX10 at ambient
temperature for 15 to 20 minutes prior to use for each change in environment with a significant
difference in ambient temperature. It is important to wait 1 minute between two readings.
- The protective glass of the lens is the most fragile part of the thermometer.
- Do not touch the glass of the infra-red lens with your fingers.
- Clean the glass with a cotton swab lightly dampened with 70° alcohol.
- Do not put the thermometer in contact with diseased, ulcerated or bruised skin.
- Do not drink hot or cold drinks or do rigorous exercise while your temperature is being taken.
3. INTRODUCTION
The MyThermo BW-CX10 is an infra-red thermometer specially designed to take the body
temperature of children and adults without contact with the human body. The technology
makes it possible to measure temperature on the temporal artery (TA) at a distance of
approximately 2 to 5 cm / 1 to 2 in from the forehead/temple.
The MyThermo BW-CX10 thermometer is precise and instantaneous. It is perfectly adapted to
taking temperature safely. It can be used at home or by healthcare professionals. Nevertheless, it
is essential to use the MyThermo BW-CX10 appropriately in order to obtain a reliable and stable
result. Therefore, you should read the directions and safety instructions carefully before use.
4. OPERATING PRINCIPLES
Each body, solid, liquid or gas, emits energy by radiation with an intensity that is related to its
temperature. The MyThermo BW-CX10 infra-red thermometer measures a person's temperature
by the energy they release. The temperature is taken with the external temperature sensor of
the device which analyses and continuously records ambient temperature. In fact, as soon as
the operator places the thermometer close to the body and turns on the radiation sensor, the
temperature is immediately measured by detection of the infra-red heat emitted by arterial
blood flow. The result of this body temperature measurement is then obtained without
interference of the surrounding temperature.
Benefits of temporal artery temperature (TA) measurement
The arterial infrared temperature can be measured by means of a device placed on the forehead
in the region of the temporal artery.
The thermometer MyThermo BW-CX10 has been designed for the instantaneous measurement
of the temporal/frontal temperature without physical contact with the temporal artery. This
artery being relatively close to the surface of the skin and therefore accessible, the blood
flow is continuous and regular and enables precise temperature measurement. This artery is
connected to the heart by the carotid artery, itself connected directly to the aorta. It is part of
the central arterial system. The efficiency, speed and comfort of taking temperature in this area
of the body make it ideal.
Practical considerations in taking temperature
- For precision and measurement quality, it is essential for each user to be adequately informed
and trained in the temperature-taking technique with a device such as this.
- It is essential to remember that temperature-taking procedures, although basic, should not
be ignored.
- The patient should not carry out intense physical activity before taking their temperature.
- Temperature fluctuations due to physiological factors must be taken into account in the
evaluation of the results:
• The temperature increases by 0,5°C / 0.9°F between 6.00 and 15.00,
• The average female temperature is higher by about 0,2°C / 0.36°F and varies, depending on
their ovarian cycle,
• It increases by 0,5°C / 0.9°F during the first half of the cycle and during the first months of
pregnancy.
- The temperature of a seated person is about 0,3°C - 0,4°C / 0.54°F - 0.52°F lower than that of a
standing person.

Direct the device towards the FOREHEAD, towards the right temporal region, at a distance
of approximately 2-5 cm / 1-2 in, press the thermometer measurement button, and the
temperature will be displayed instantly.
Constraints
Please observe the following procedure before any temperature measurement, to ensure a
stable and reliable result: -Brush hair away from the forehead.
- If necessary, wipe sweat from the forehead.
- Avoid draughts/any significant air flow (oxygen cannula, air conditioning...).
- Respect a delay of 1 minute between two temperature-takes.
The reliability of the temperature measurement cannot be guaranteed on another
anatomical region (e.g. arm, torso...).

5. FUNCTIONS
1. The result of the measurement is reliable and stable, thanks to the HEIMMANN infra-red
sensor.
2. Audible alarm if the temperature is above the predefined limit (chapter 9-4).
3. Temperature diagnosis: colour indicator (green, yellow or red) to assist with interpreting the
measurement obtained.

Secondary applications:
The MyThermo BW-CX10 can also be used to measure the temperature of a surface or the
ambient temperature (via the TEMP or ROOM SURFACE mode).
6. BATTERY CHARGING
Before using MyThermo for the first time, please charge the battery via the USB cable.
This function is in line with the European directive 89/336 / EEC - Electromagnetic Compatibility.
CHARGE INDICATOR
When the MyThermo battery is low, the symbol is displayed on the screen to indicate the
low-battery status. You can continue to use the MyThermo which will make 5 continuous beeps
and turn off automatically when the battery is completely flat. When the MyThermo battery
is completely recharged, the power is automatically stopped. This prevents overcharging and
extends the life of the battery. Recharge the batteries every 6 months if the device is not used
for a long period.
7. DOWNLOAD THE APPLICATION
Download the BewellConnect® application to your smartphone or tablet:
- on App Store or Google Play
Then click on the icon MyThermo to activate the sub-application.
8. FIRST CONFIGURATION OF MYTHERMO BWCX10
- Connect the supplied USB cable to your computer to charge the device. Once fully charged,
you can unplug the cable.
- AT first use, wait about 10 minutes for the ambient temperature of the device.
- Direct the device toward the temporal lobe or one side / temple of the forehead, as shown
in FIGURE

- You can then transfer your data to the BewellConnect application by pressing the transfer
button, and monitor your temperature curve.
9. SETTINGS
9.1. CHOOSING THE TEMPERATURE MODE
Body mode : Body temperature measurement.
Measuring range : 30°C ~ 43°C (86.0°F ~109.4°F).
Surface Temp mode : Object, food’s surface measurement.
Measuring range : 0°C to 93,3°C (32.0°F to 109.9°F).
ROOM mode : room temperature measurement.
Press the MODE button to select the temperature mode.
The screen displays : B for the Body mode – taking of the body temperature.
Press again the MODE button to go to the SURFACE TEMP mode. The screen displays S.
Press again the MODE button to go to the ROOM mode. The screen displays R.
NOTE : THE BW-CX10 MYTHERMO IS SET BY DEFAULT ON BODY.
Important : The surface temperature is different from the internal body temperature.
The body temperature can only be obtained by using the BODY mode.
Make sure to select the BODY mode for the internal temperature measurement and the SURFACE
TEMP mode or the ROOM mode for the external temperature measurement.
9.2. CHOOSING THE TEMPERATURE UNIT
Press the °C/°F button to select the temperature unit. The screen displays the symbol of the unit
chosen (°C for degrees Celsius and °F for degrees Fahrenheit).
9.3. DATA MEMORIZATION
Data transferred via Bluetooth are stored on the BewellConnect MyThermo application. You can
monitor the history of your measurements on your smartphone or tablet
9.4 ADJUSTING THE ALARM  F1
Press the measurement button to turn on the device.
Press the°C/°F button until F1 is displayed on the screen.
The alarm limit is shown (38°C /100.4°F by default). The device will beep if the measurement is
above this limit.
To change the limit, briefly press the MODE button to decrease it or the° C /° F button to increase
it.
Then press the° C /° F button a few seconds to display the next menu (F2).

It is not advisable to change the alarm setting without the advice of your doctor.
9.5. TOTAL DIFFERENCE  F2
To adjust the temperature difference of MyThermo BW-CX10:
Press the° C /° F button for three seconds until F1 is displayed.
Press the button again for a few seconds to display the F2 menu.
Press the Mode /° C /° F button to change the total deviation from /- 0,1° C / 0.1° F.
Confirm your new SETTING by pressing the° C /° F button for three seconds to display the F3
menu.
In case of doubt, it is advisable to keep the initial parameter at 0,0° C / 0.1° F.
9.6 ACTIVATING OR DEACTIVATING THE AUDIBLE ALARM F3
Press the measurement button to turn on the device.
To display the F1 menu on the screen, press the°C/°F button for 3 seconds. Go to the F3 menu by
pressing the° C /° F button twice for 3 seconds.
Press the°C/°F button to deactivate the audible alarm (0 is displayed on the screen), or on the
MODE button to activate it (1 is displayed on the screen).
9.7 EXIT THE SETUP MENU
Press the° C /° F button for three seconds to confirm changes to the settings and exit the menu.
The LCD screen displays END and powers off.

13. TROUBLESHOOTING
If you encounter the following problems in using your MyThermo BW-CX10, please refer to this
troubleshooting guide. If the problem persists, contact customer service at 0892 350 334.
The screen displays nothing:
Check that the battery is sufficiently charged.
Temperatures over 95° are displayed:
The temperature is given in Fahrenheit. Change the unit of measurement to Celsius.
The display shows a body temperature below 32°C / 89.6°F
To measure body temperature, the mode BODY must be selected. If the thermometer is in
SURFACE TEMP or ROOM mode the displayed reading indicates the temperature displayed,
<32°C / 89.6°F, corresponds to the external temperature of your body.
The message HI is displayed: The tested temperature is above the measurement range of
the selected mode, which is above 43°C /109.4°F in BODY mode and above 93.3°C /199.9°F in
SURFACE TEMP mode.
The message LO is displayed: The tested temperature is below the measurement range of the
selected mode, which is below 32°C /89.6°F in BODY mode and below 0°C /32°F in SURFACE
mode.

- Make sure you are in BODY mode on the MyThermo BW-CX10. No measurement taken in
SURFACE or ROOM mode can be transferred to the application.

te gebruiken, raden wij u aan om deze handleiding aandachtig te lezen
1. VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
- Volg de onderhoudsinstructies in deze handleiding.
- Dit apparaat kan worden gebruikt voor persoonlijk gebruik thuis.
- Gebruik dit apparaat alleen voor het beoogde gebruik, zoals beschreven in deze handleiding.
- Gebruik dit apparaat alleen in een omgevingstemperatuur tussen 15 et 40°C / 59 en 104°F.
- Dit apparaat moet altijd in een schone, droge plaats worden geplaatst.
- Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan elektrische schokken.
- Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan extreme temperatuursomstandigheden T° > 50°C / 122°F -
T° < 20°C / -4°F.
- Gebruik dit product bij een relatieve luchtvochtigheid boven de 85%.
- Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan zonlicht of water.

hebben ontvangen over het gebruik van het apparaat.
- Deze medische elektrische apparatuur vereist speciale voorzorgsmaatregelen met betrekking
tot elektromagnetische compatibiliteit. Het moet worden geïnstalleerd en in gebruik worden

- Dit apparaat mag niet aanzetten tot zelfmedicatie of een aanpassing van uw behandeling.

2. VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN VOOR GEBRUIK
DE MYTHERMO BWCX10 IS VOORAF INGESTELD IN DE FABRIEK. HET IS NIET NOODZAKELIJK
OM HET APPARAAT TE KALIBREREN TIJDENS HET GEBRUIK.
Om een betrouwbaar en stabiel resultaat te verkrijgen, is het aanbevolen om bij elke verandering
van omgeving met een hoge omgevingstemperatuur, de MyThermo BW-CX10 gedurende 15 tot
20 minuten gewend te laten raken aan deze omgevingstemperatuur alvorens het te gebruiken.
Het is belangrijk dat u 1 minuut wacht tussen twee metingen.
- Het beschermende glas van de lens is het meest kwetsbare onderdeel van de thermometer.
- Raak het glas van de infraroodlens niet aan met uw vingers.
- Reinig het glas met een wattenstaafje licht bevochtigd met alcohol tot 70°.
- Breng de thermometer niet in contact met een zieke huid, zweren of littekens.
- Drink geen warme of koude dranken, en doe geen zware lichamelijke inspanning tijdens het
meten van de temperatuur.
3. INTRODUCTIE
De MyThermo BW-CX10 is een infrarood thermometer die speciaal ontworpen is voor het nemen
van de lichaamstemperatuur van kinderen of volwassenen zonder contact met het lichaam. Zijn
technologie laat toe om de temperatuur op de temporele slagader te meten vanop een afstand
van ongeveer 2 tot 5 cm / 1 à 2 in van het voorhoofd.
De MyThermo BW-CX10 is een thermometer die perfect geschikt is voor veilige, accurate en
snelle meting van de temperatuur. Het kan gebruikt worden thuis of door professionele
zorgverleners. Het is echter noodzakelijk om de MyThermo BCX-10 op de juiste manier te
gebruiken om een betrouwbaar en stabiel resultaat te garanderen. Het is daarom raadzaam om
de gebruiksaanwijzing en veiligheidsinstructies te lezen vóór gebruik.
4. WERKING

BW-CX10 kunt u de temperatuur van een persoon meten via de energie die hij/zij afgeeft. Deze
meting wordt mogelijk gemaakt door de externe temperatuursensor van het apparaat dat
continu de kamertemperatuur analyseert en registreert. Zodra de gebruiker de thermometer
bij het lichaam brengt en de stralingssensor activeert, wordt de meting onmiddellijk uitgevoerd
door de detectie van de infrarode warmte van de arteriële bloedstroom. Het resultaat van de
lichaamstemperatuurmeting wordt verkregen zonder verstoring van de omringende warmte.
Voordelen van de meting van de temperatuur van de temporele ader (TA)
De infrarood bloedtemperatuur kan worden gemeten met behulp van een apparaat dat wordt
geplaatst op het voorhoofd, ter hoogte van de temporele ader.
De MyThermo BW-CX10 thermometer is ontworpen voor een directe meting van de temporele/
voorhoofdtemperatuur zonder fysiek contact met de temporele ader. Deze slagader ligt relatief
dicht bij het oppervlak van de huid en is dus toegankelijk, de bloedstroom is er permanent
en regelmatig en dus geschikt voor een nauwkeurige temperatuurmeting. Deze slagader is
verbonden met het hart via de halsslagader, die zelf direct verbonden is met de aorta. Ze maakt
deel uit van het centrale slagaderlijke systeem. De doeltreffendheid, snelheid en comfort van de
temperatuurmeting op deze plaats maakt ze ideaal.
Praktische overwegingen van de temperatuurmeting
- Voor een nauwkeurig en kwaliteitsvol resultaat is het essentieel dat elke gebruiker voldoende
geïnformeerd en opgeleid is over de meettechniek met een dergelijk apparaat.
- Het is van essentieel belang om te onthouden dat het proces van de temperatuurmeting,
hoewel basic, niet mag worden genegeerd.
- De patiënt mag geen inspannende activiteiten uitvoeren vóór de temperatuurmeting.
- Temperatuurschommelingen als gevolg van fysiologische factoren moeten worden
overwogen bij de beoordeling van de resultaten:
• de temperatuur stijgt met 0,5°C / 0,9°F tussen 6u en 15u,
• de temperatuur van vrouwen ligt gemiddeld ongeveer 0,2°C / 0,36°F hoger en varieert
bovendien afhankelijk van de eierstokcyclus,
• ze verhoogt met 0,5°C / 0,9°C in de eerste helft van de cyclus gedurende de eerste maand
van de zwangerschap.
- De temperatuur van een zittende persoon ligt ongeveer 0,3°C - 0,4°C / 0,54°F - 0,52°F lager van
die van een staande persoon.

Richt het apparaat naar het VOORHOOFD, ter hoogte van de rechtse temporele aders, op
een afstand van ongeveer 2,5 cm / 1-2 in en druk op de meetknop van de thermometer. De
temperatuur wordt direct weergegeven.
Beperkingen
Volg de onderstaande procedure voor elke temperatuurmeting, om een stabiel en betrouwbaar
resultaat krijgen: - Houd het voorhoofd vrij van haar.
- Veeg, indien nodig, het zweet van het voorhoofd.
- Vermijd tocht/luchtstromen (zuurstofvoorziening, airconditioning...).
Het is belangrijk dat u 1 minuut wacht tussen twee metingen.

De betrouwbaarheid van de meting kan niet worden gegarandeerd bij een
temperatuurmeting op een ander lichaamsdeel (bijv. armen, torso...) ..
5. FUNCTIES
1. Betrouwbaar en stabiel meetresultaat door het HEIMMANN infrarood detectiesysteem.
2. Hoorbaar alarm bij een temperatuur boven de vooraf bepaalde drempelwaarde (hoofdstuk
9-4).
3. Temperatuurdiagnose: kleurindicator (groen, geel of rood) om te helpen bij de interpretatie
van de meting.
4. Digitaal LCD-scherm met achtergrondverlichting.
5. Bluetooth-verbinding om het temperatuurverloop te volgen via de BewellConnect
MyThermo-applicatie.
6. Keuze om de gegevens weer te geven in Celsius of Fahrenheit.

Secundaire toepassingen:
Met de MyThermo BW-CX10 kunt u ook de temperatuur van een oppervlak of de
omgevingstemperatuur meten (in SURFACE TEMP of ROOM-modus).
6. OPLADEN VAN DE BATTERIJ
Voor het eerste gebruik van de MyThermo moet de batterij worden opladen met behulp van
de USB-kabel.
Dit is in overeenstemming met de Europese richtlijn 89/336 / EEG - elektromagnetische
compatibiliteit.
OPLAADINDICATOR
Wanneer de batterij van de MyThermo leeg is, verschijnt het symbool op het scherm om
de ontlaadtoestand weer te geven.
U kunt doorgaan met het gebruik van de MyThermo die 5 continue pieptonen zal geven en
daarna automatisch zal uitschakelen
wanneer de batterij volledig leeg is.
Wanneer de batterij van de MyThermo volledig is opgeladen, wordt de stroom automatisch
uitgeschakeld. Dit voorkomt overladen en verlengt de levensduur van de batterij.
Laad de batterij om de 6 maanden op als het apparaat niet wordt gebruikt gedurende een lange
periode.
7. DOWNLOAD DE APPLICATIE
Download de BewellConnect® applicatie op uw telefoon of tablet:
- via de App Store of Google Play
Klik vervolgens op het MyThermo-pictogram om de sub-applicatie te activeren.
8. EERSTE CONFIGURATIE VAN DE MYTHERMO BWCX10
- Sluit de USB-kabel van uw apparaat aan op uw computer om het product op te laden. Eenmaal
het apparaat is opgeladen, kunt u de USB-kabel loskoppelen.
- BIJ het eerste gebruik, wacht ongeveer 10 minuten tot het apparaat de omgevingstemperatuur
heeft gemeten.
- Richt het apparaat op de slaap of een zijde/tempel van het voorhoofd, zoals afgebeeld op de
FIGUUR op

PAGINA 2, op een afstand van 2 tot 5 cm / 1-2 in. Druk op de meetknop om de
temperatuur meteen weer te geven.
- U kunt vervolgens uw gegevens verzenden naar de BewellConnect-applicatie door op de
overdrachtknop te drukken uw temperatuurcurve volgen.
9. INSTELLINGEN
9.1. KEUZE VAN DE MODI VOOR TEMPERATUURMETING
Body-modus: Meting van de lichaamstemperatuur
Meetbereik: 30°C tot 43°C (86,0°F tot 109,4°F)
Surface Temp-modus: Meting van het oppervlak van een voorwerp, van een levensmiddel.
Meetbereik: 0°C tot 93,3°C (32,0°F tot 199,9°F)
ROOM-modus: Meting van de temperatuur van een kamer.
Druk op de MODE-knop om de modus voor de temperatuurmeting te selecteren.
Het scherm toont: B voor de Body-modus - meting van de lichaamstemperatuur.
Druk nogmaals op de MODE-knop om over te schakelen naar de SURFACE TEMP-modus. Het
scherm toont S.
Druk nogmaals op de MODE-knop om over te schakelen naar de ROOM-modus. Het scherm
toont R.
OPMERKING: DE MYTHERMO BW-CX10 IS STANDAARD INGESTELD IN DE BODY-MODUS.
De temperatuur van een oppervlak verschilt van de lichaamstemperatuur.
De lichaamstemperatuur wordt alleen verkregen in de BODY-modus.
Selecteer de BODY-modus voor het meten van de inwendige temperatuur en SURFACE TEMP-
modus of ROOM-modus voor het meten van de buitentemperatuur.

9.2. KEUZE VAN DE MEETEENHEID
Druk op de °C/°F knop om de temperatuureenheid te selecteren. Op het scherm verschijnt het
symbool van de geselecteerde eenheid °C voor graden Celsius,° F voor graden Fahrenheit).
9.3. GEGEVENSOPSLAG
De overgedragen gegevens via Bluetooth worden opgeslagen in de BEWELLCONNECT MyThermo-
applicatie. U kunt de geschiedenis van uw metingen volgen op uw smartphone of tablet.
9.4 INSTELLEN VAN HET ALARM  F1
Druk op de meetknop om het apparaat in te schakelen.
Druk op de °C/°F-knop tot F1 verschijnt op het scherm.
De alarmdrempel wordt weergegeven (38°C/100,4°F standaard). Er zal een pieptoon weerklinken
bij metingen boven deze drempel.
Om de drempel te wijzigen kunt u kort op de MODE-knop drukken om ze te verlagen of op de
°C/°F-knop om ze te verhogen.
Druk vervolgens enkele seconden op de °C/°F om het volgende menu (F2) weer te geven.
Het wordt niet aangeraden om de instelling van het alarm te wijzigen zonder het advies
van uw arts.
9.5. TOTALE AFWIJKING  F2
Om de temperatuurafwijking van de MyThermo BW-CX10 aan te passen:
Druk op de °C/°F-knop gedurende 3 seconden tot F1 verschijnt op het scherm.
Druk opnieuw gedurende enkele seconden op de knop om het F2-menu weer te geven.
Druk op de °C/°F-knop om de totale afwijking met +/- 0,1°C / 0,1°F te wijzigen.
Bevestig de nieuwe instelling met een druk op de °C/°F-knop gedurende drie seconden om het
F3-menu weer te geven.
Bij twijfel is het raadzaam om de oorspronkelijke instelling op + 0,0°C / 0,1°F te houden.
9.6 DE F3PIEPTOON TOEVOEGEN OF VERWIJDEREN
Druk op de meetknop om het apparaat in te schakelen.
Druk vervolgens gedurende drie seconden op de °C/°F-knop om het F1-menu weer te geven. Ga
naar het F3-menu door tweemaal gedurende 3 seconden op de °C/°F-knop te drukken.
Druk op de °C/°F-knop om de pieptoon (0 verschijnt op het scherm) uit te schakelen of op de
MODE-knop om ze te activeren (1 verschijnt op het scherm).
9.7 HET INSTELLINGENMENU VERLATEN
Druk gedurende drie seconden op de °C/°F om de gewijzigde instellingen op te slaan en het
menu te verlaten. Het LCD-scherm toont END en schakelt zich uit.
