Charakteristik
Der geschlossene Kopfhörer DT 770 M bietet eine hervor-
ragende Isolation gegenüber Außengeräuschen. Die
hochwertigen Wandlersysteme verleihen ihm ein unver-
gleichliches Klangvolumen und geben auch tiefste
Frequenzen unverfälscht wieder. Durch die Diffusfeldent-
zerrung wird ein weiträumiger, ausgewogener Klang
übertragen. Das Impulsverhalten ist mit elektrostatischen
Kopfhörern vergleichbar, da die Membran und
Schwingspule des DT 770 M nur noch ca. 20% der Masse
herkömmlicher dynamischer Systeme aufweisen.
Anwendung
Der DT 770 M wurde speziell für Drummer und Moni-
toringzwecke (FOH) entwickelt. Er eignet sich sowohl für
den Einsatz auf der Bühne als auch im Studio.
Durch die beweglichen Gabelgelenke und den verstell-
baren Kopfbügel aus Federstahl kann der DT 770 M jeder
Kopfgröße ideal angepasst werden. Die Hörerlautstärke
kann über einen Lautstärkeregler am Kabel optimal ein-
gestellt werden. Das Anschlusskabel ist einseitig geführt
und verfügt über eine Länge von 3 Metern. Es ist mit
einem 3-poligen vergoldeten 3,5 mm Klinkenstecker und
6,35 mm Adapter ausgestattet.
Pflege
Aus hygienischen Gründen sollten Sie die Ohrpolster und
den Kopfbügel gelegentlich mit einem weichen feuchten
Tuch reinigen. Achten Sie darauf, dass kein Wasser in die
Wandler und in den Lautstärkeregler läuft. Da Ohr- und
Kopfpolster einem natürlichen Verschleiß unterliegen,
wird es von Zeit zu Zeit notwendig, sie auszutauschen
(siehe „Zubehör und Ersatzteile“). Dies können Sie leicht
selbst machen. Müssen weitere Komponenten ersetzt
werden, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihre zuständige
beyerdynamic-Vertretung.
Sicherheitshinweis
Wenn Sie den Kopfhörer an Ihren Verstärker anschließen,
achten Sie darauf, dass die Lautstärke (Volume) zunächst
auf Minimum gedreht ist. Regeln Sie die Lautstärke erst
nach Aufsetzen des Kopfhörers.
Im allgemeinen wird mit Kopfhörern lauter abgehört als
mit Lautsprechern. Hohe Lautstärken können, sofern sie
über längere Zeit auf das Ohr einwirken, zu dauerhaften
Hörschäden führen.
Schonen Sie Ihr gesundes Gehör - auch bei niedriger
Lautstärke haben beyerdynamic-Kopfhörer ihren vollen
Klang.

Design Features
The DT 770 M is a closed dynamic headphone and is
designed for critical music and sound monitoring in an open
environment. The headphone features a frequency
response of 5 Hz to 30 kHz and is equalised to the diffuse
sound field. The weight of the diaphragm and moving
coil of this headphone is approx. 20% compared to other
current models. As a result, the DT 770 M offers similar
pulse characteristics as electrostatic headphones.
Application
The DT 770 M has been designed for drummers and
monitoring purposes (FOH), and is suitable for use on
stage and in the studio.
The transducers are fitted to adjustable yokes which
should be positioned to fully enclose the ear. This
provides the optimum ear/speaker position for accurate
sound monitoring. The headphone volume can be
optimal adjusted using the volume control on the single-
sided cable. The cable has a length of 3 metres and is
terminated with a high-quality gold plated mini jack
(3.5 mm) - a 1/4" (6.35 mm) stereo jack adapter is also
supplied. Professional users should note that it is
recommended practice for headphones to be issued on
an individual user basis to preclude any possible health
risks.
Maintenance
As with any equipment which will be used in close
proximity to sensitive areas of the body, it is essential that
the ear-pads and headband are kept clean. Use a damp
cloth for cleaning using warm water only, taking care to
ensure that no liquid drops into the transducers or the
volume control. Should it become necessary to replace
the ear-pads or the headband cushion, please refer to
“Spares and Accessories”.
Safety
When plugging your headphones into an amplifier,
please make sure that the volume control is set at
minimum and is adjusted after they have been put on.
The very low levels of distortion present within the
DT 770 M mean that listening levels are higher than is
actually perceived and we would like to warn you of this
so that you are able to enjoy these headphones for many
years without damage to your ears.

Description
Le casque DT 770 M est de type fermé avec une excellente
isolation contre les bruits ambiants. Ses systèmes de
conversion d’excellente qualité lui confèrent un volume
des sonorités incomparable et permettent un rendu
même des fréquences les plus basses sans coloration.
Quant à sa réponse en transitoires, elle peut, grâce à
la masse réduite de la membrane et de la bobine, être
comparée à celle de casques électrostatiques.
Utilisation
Le casque DT 770 M a été développé spécialement pour
les batteurs et les besoins de surveillance du son (FOH).
Il est conçu aussi bien pour l’utilisation sur scène qu’en
studio.
Le DT 770 M peut être parfaitement adapté à toutes les
formes de têtes grâce à ses articulations à fourches
mobiles et son bandeau de tête variable en acier à
ressort. On peut obtenir un volume d’écoute optimal en
utilisant un régleur de volume disposé sur le câble de
raccordement. Le câble de raccordement est disposé sur
un seul côté et possède une longueur de 3 mètres. Il est
équipé d’une fiche Jack 3,5 mm et d’un adaptateur Jack
6,35 mm à contact doré.
Entretien
Pour des raisons hygiéniques il est important de nettoyer
le casque régulièrement avec un chiffon humide.
N’utilisez que des produits de nettoyage doux (p.ex.
produit pour vaisselle) mais en aucun cas des produits
détergents. Veillez à ce que l’eau ne s’infiltre pas dans les
systèmes d’écoute.
Les oreillettes et le bandeau de l’arceau serre-tête étant
soumis à une usure naturelle provoquée par la transpiration
et la séborrhée, il est indispensable de les changer
régulièrement (voir «Pièces de rechange»).
Sécurité
Lorsque vous branchez le casque sur un amplificateur,
veillez à ce que le volume d’écoute soit d’abord ramené
au niveau minimum. N’ajustez le volume d’écoute
qu’après avoir revêtu le casque.
L’écoute au casque se fait généralement à un niveau plus
élevé qu’avec des haut-parleurs.
Sachez qu’une écoute prolongée à niveau élevé peut
entraîner des lésions auditives irrémédiables. Protégez
votre audition, les casques beyerdynamic restituent la
plénitude du spectre sonore, même à volume réduit.
