Anwendung
Das MCE 5 eignet sich zur Abnahme von Sprache und
Instrumenten insbesondere bei Fernsehsendungen,
Filmaufnahmen und Bühnenauftritten.
Befestigung
Die mitgelieferte Mikrofonklammer sowie Spezial-
halterungen für die verschiedensten Instrumente ermög-
lichen eine optimale Befestigung und Ausrichtung auf die
Schallquelle. Beim Einsatz im Freien sollte ein Windschutz
benutzt werden.
Pflege
Bei Bedarf reinigen Sie das MCE 5 und Anschlusskabel
mit einem weichen, feuchten Tuch. Wenn notwendig,
können Sie ein mildes Reinigungsmittel (z.B. Geschirr-
spülmittel) verwenden, auf keinen Fall lösemittelhaltige
Reiniger. Achten Sie darauf, dass in den Mikrofonwandler
kein Wasser läuft. Den Schaumstoffwindschutz WS 5
können Sie in klarem Wasser reinigen. Der WS 5 muss
vollständig trocken sein, bevor Sie ihn wieder auf das
Mikrofon setzen.

Applications
The MCE 5 has been designed for the miking of speech
and instruments especially in broadcasting, film and
stage.
Mounting
The supplied mic clip is designed to clip on to a lapel or
tie for speech use. However there are special clamps
available for mounting the MCE 5 to instruments. For
optimum performance the microphone should be mounted
so that it points towards the sound source. If using
outdoors attach the supplied wind shield.
Maintenance
Use a soft damp cloth for cleaning the MCE 5 microphone
and connecting cable. If necessary, you can use a gentle
cleansing agent (such as washing-up liquid). Take care
not to allow any water to enter the transducer elements
and do not use any solvent cleansers. You can clean the
polyurethane foam WS 5 wind shield in clear water. The
WS 5 has to be completely dry before it is used again.

Applications
Le MCE 5 est un microphone omnidirectionnel conçu
spécialement pour la prise de son de la voix, du chant et
d’instruments sur des plateaux de télévision, de cinéma et
sur scène. La directivité omnidirectionelle le rendent
particulièrement peu sensible aux effet pop et aux bruits
de contact physique.
Fixation
Un choix important de fixations spécifiques, permet un
placement optimal du microphone face à la source sonore
(voir liste des accessoires). Pour une exploitation à l’extérieur
il est important d’utiliser une bonnette anti-vent.
Maintenance
Pour le nettoyage du corps du micro, de la grille de
protection de la tête et du câble, il suffit d’utiliser un tissu
doux humidifié. En cas de besoin vous pouvez utiliser un
produit de nettoyage non détergeant (liquide de vaisselle).
Veillez à ce qu’en aucun cas des gouttes d’eau ne tombent
sur le transducteur du microphone. Le bonnette anti-vent
WS 5 se lave simplement à l’eau courante. Il est primordial
de les laisser sécher avant de les replacer sur le micro-
phone.
