INTRODUCTION
Before using the electrical appliance, the following basic precautions should always be followed
including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is operated near children. Do not allow children to use
this appliance.
3. Before use, check that the voltage of wall outlet corresponds to the one shown on the rating plate.
4. Always operate the product on a flat, stable surface.
5. Do not attempt to open any part of the Motor Housing.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped
or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or
electrical or mechanical adjustment.
7. If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized service agent or a qualified
technician in order to avoid a hazard.
8. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or hot surface.
9. Do not immerse plug, cord or housing into water due to the risk of electric shock.
10. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
11. Do not operate the appliance for other than its intended use.
12. When not in use, before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning - unplug the appliance from the outlet.
13. Avoid contact with moving parts while in use to prevent injury and/or damage to the appliance.
14. Prior to using the device, always check to ensure that all parts are properly assembled. For correct
placement of parts, please refer to PARTS AND FEATURES on p. 6.
15. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
16. Do not use outdoors.
17. Do not move the appliance when in use.
18. Unplug from main power socket when not in use.
19. Servicing and repair should only be conducted by a qualified technician.
20. Do not clean the appliance with any abrasive cleaning agents or steel wool.
21. Do not submerge the main unit in water.

The BIG BOSS™ Citrus Juicer brings a vitamin C

complete with a juicing cone that fits all size
citrus fruits, from limes to grapefruits. Just
press down to activate the motorized extractor
to begin juicing. Press down again and it will
operate in reverse, therefore extracting even
more juice, down to the last drop. The strainer
separates seeds and pulp from the juice as it
collects right in the pitcher for easy and
convenient serving. The pitcher holds up
to 32 oz (4 cups) of juice. Get perfect freshly
squeezed citrus juice every time!

PACKAGE CONTENTS:
Unpack the unit and all parts and remove all packaging materials. Before using the unit for the first time, wipe the
surface of the power base with damp cloth. Rinse all parts (not the Power Base) in warm soapy water prior to use.
Dry all parts thoroughly. Refer to a full cleaning instructions on up. 8 if needed.
WARNING: Do not immerse the unit, cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
Do not use abrasive cleansers.
UNPACKING - BEFORE FIRST USE
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use:
- The marked electrical rating must be at least as great as that of the product;
- If the product is of the grounding type, the extension cord must be a grounding-type 3-wire cord;
- Arrange the longer cord so that it will not drape over a countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over,
snagged, or pulled on unintentionally (especially by children).

POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is
intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

USING YOUR CITRUS JUICER - STORING JUICE CLEANING

USING YOUR CITRUS JUICER:
1. Connect the unit to the power supply.
2. Wash the citrus fruits, cut in half. Remove the safety cap off the unit.
3. Refer to Diagram on right. Place the fruit cut side down onto the juice extractor.
Firmly press down with hand to activate the motorized juice extractor to begin
juicing. Press down again and it will operate in reverse, therefore extracting
even more juice, down to the last drop.
4. To stop juicing, simply lift the fruit off the juice extractor.
5. The juice will drip through the strainer, separating the seeds
and the pulp from the juice as it collects in the pitcher.
6. When the juicer container becomes full, tilt it and pour
the juice out into a glass or container through a spout.
The pitcher holds up to 32 oz (4 cups) of juice.
7. If the strainer gets too full, remove it and empty in the
trash receptacle. Place it back on for more juicing.
8. When finished juicing, always unplug the unit.
9. Always clean the unit right after use.
STORING YOUR JUICE
You may juice your citrus fruits and store the juice in the refrigerator for future consumption. The longer the juice is stored
in the refrigerator, it starts losing vitamins and nutrients. If you have to store juice, make sure to place it into the airtight
container, preferably glass. If you choose to freeze juice, use freezer safe containers. Do not store or freeze juice for a
period longer than 1 month.
CLEANING:
WARNING: Do not immerse the Power Base, cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
Do not use abrasive cleansers. The unit is NOT dishwasher safe.
- Before cleaning the appliance, make sure to disconnect it from the power supply.
- Clean the unit immediately after each use. This greatly simplifies the cleaning process.
1. Remove the Juice Extractor and Filter assembly and pitcher from the unit’s base.
2. All parts except the Power Base can be washed with a mild soap solution. Do not use abrasive cleansers.
DO NOT SUBMERGE THE MAIN POWER UNIT, CORD OR PLUG IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
Dry all parts thoroughly.
3. Wipe the Power Base with a soft damp cloth. Do not place in dishwasher.
4. Make sure all components are clean and dry prior to assembly.
