Read before usin harness
•Always read the manual before usin the harness.
•The harness should only be used under the direct supervision and assistance of a
qualified healthcare provider.
•The harness is not desi ned to be a fall arrest device but rather a fall prevention device.
Never allow slack in the line supportin the patient.
•This device should not be used anytime pressure around the abdomen, thi hs, roin or
shoulders is contraindicated.
•Never use the harness without checkin the comfort levels (both physical and
psycholo ical) of client frequently.
•The harness is not desi ned as passive liftin device. Use only with persons who can
participate actively in the therapeutic process and can bear a majority of their own wei ht
throu h their lower extremities once standin .
•The harness has a maximum load capacity of 300 lbs.
•Inspect all components of the harness on a re ular basis to ensure safety. Replace
harness at first si n of wear.
•Hand wash all components of the harness in a mild sanitizin deter ent and air dry.
HelpfUl Hints anD tips
• Practice manipulatin and adjustin the buckles and straps prior to usin it on a patient.
• Loosen all straps sufficiently prior to applyin harness especially the back straps on the
waist belt.
• Readjustment and ti htenin of the harness may be necessary as you work with the patient.
