1.1 Signalling LEDs
Img.1 shows the front anel dis lay of the device, which contains all diods. The device is
equi ed with seven elements indicating the status of the device and, with a ro riate
configuration, the state of the electrical ort of the remote device:
- signaling the ower su ly;
LINK/ACT - signaling of the electrical ort 10/100/1000Base-TX;
LNK - signaling of the o tical link;
SD - signaling the signal rece tion at the o tical ort;
TxF - Signaling of the o tical transmitter damage.
Flashing of the LINK / ACT and LNK LEDs signals the data transmission. Green flashing shows
the status of the correct connection.
1.2 Status of Ethernet electric interface signaling
The Ethernet ort is equi ed with a two-color signal diode:
green color - Ethernet link for 1000Mb s
orange color - Ethernet link for 100Mb s
1.3 Connectors discribtion
The front anel of the device has an RJ45 interface for the electrical interface
Ethernet, SFP o tical interface slot, and ower connector.

1.4 O tical connectors
The device is equi ed with an SFP module slot. The device su orts 1.25Gbit / s SFP modules (MM,
SM, WDM, CWDM, DWDM, Co er). The range and ty e of connector de ends on the ty e of SFP
inserted.
As an exam le SFP for the device we ro ose the BTP-3124-L2CD model (1.25G, 20km, 1310nm,
du lex, DDMI).
1.5 ERIS-1000 coo eration with other devices
Connection over fiber o tic link to another device enables coo eration between the interfaces with
only bit rate 1Gb s RJ45 / 1Gb s SFP
2 POW R SUPPLY
•Voltage range 6-60V DC (the device can also be ordered in a 5V version via USB).
•PoE version requires ower su ly of 24-57V DC to ower the outdoor device
•Power consum tion 55mA at 48V DC
•Voltage olarity - unrestricted
3 FIRST START-UP
The ERIS-1000 is ready to o erate automatically when the ower is connected. When the
ower su ly is ro erly connected, the ower LED should flash.

4 CONFORMITY TO STANDARDSAND R COMM NDATIONS
BITSTR AM devices were designed ursuant to obligatory standards and recommendations in
res ect of the range of data transmission, electromagnetic com atibility and service safety.
4.1 Electromagnetic com atibility
The device was designed ursuant to the standard EN 55022 class A, PN-EN-55024.
BITSTR AM devices are designated to functioning in closed remises.
Notice: This device is a class A device. In the residential environment may cause radio
frequency interference. In such cases, you can require the user to take appropriate measures.
4.2 Safety
In res ect to safety of service, BITSTR AM devices were designed and tested for
o eration safety along with the EN 60950 standard.
Configuration and installation of the device should be executed by authorised ersons
familiar with the service manual. The roducer shall not be res onsible for any occurrence that
could result from usage and installation that might not conform to this manual.
4.3 Data transmission
Functions of data transmission and arameters of communication interfaces of the device are
defined by the following standards and recommendations:
