1.1 INTRODUCTION
The Black Box RM386-220V fan assembly supports 255 CMHr / 150 CFM airflow within a cabinet to
help cool your equipment. For use with 220V power, it features a C14 power inlet, and comes with
fan guards and mounting hardware for installation in your cabinet. Air filters can be purchased
separately to keep your fan running at optimum efficiency.
This two-fan tray assembly mounts inside of a cabinet. It draws air through the cabinet vents with
air exhuast exiting out of the top of the cabinet.

1. Remove the two fan knockouts on the top of the cabinet by pushing down on one side and then twisting back
and forth until the tabs break off.
2. Hold the fan assembly up to the inside of the top of the cabinet so that the mounting holes in the fans match up
with the mounting holes in the top of the cabinet. Make sure that the fan power cord receptacle is facing the rear
of the cabinet.
3. Place the two fan guards included with the product over the mounting holes in the top of the cabinet.
4. Insert the eight #8-32unc screws down through the fan guards and top of the cabinet and into the fan assembly.
5. Connect the fan to power with a user-supplied power cord.

harmful interference in which case, the user will be required to correct the interference at his/her own expense.

APPENDIX A: REGULATORY INFORMATION
A.4 NOM STATEMENT
