TROUBLESHOOTING

LIMITED WARRANTY
We warrant for one year from purchase
date and only to the original retail buyer
(Buyer) that our products (Products)
are free from defects in material and
workmanship. For lighting products,
our warranty is for three years. If Buyer
discovers a covered defect, Buyer
should return the Product to the place
of purchase. In the event that this is not
possible, return the Product to us at the
address provided. The Product will be
repaired or replaced at our discretion.
That is the extent of our liability under
this Warranty and, upon expiration of
the applicable warranty period, all such
liability shall terminate. We reserve the
right to require proof of purchase for all
warranty claims.

The Orbit functions with either 4 AAA
alkaline or lithium batteries or the Black
Diamond NRG Rechargeable Battery Kit
(sold separately).
To make rechargeable, purchase the
NRG2 Rechargeable Battery Kit and follow
instructions.
When using AAA batteries:

♦ L’Orbit s’allume systématiquement sur

diminuer ou augmenter l’intensité
lumineuse.

OPERATION
To turn the Orbit on (and off), depress the
center orange switch (Illustration 6).
♦ The Orbit will
always turn on
at the brightest
setting.
♦ Hold down the
switch to dim or
brighten.
♦ The light will flash
when the lowest
light output setting
is reached and
begin to brighten.
♦ The light will flash
at the brightest
light output and
begin to dim.
♦ To hang the Orbit, use either one hook
or both together to form a closed loop

before and after each use and before

REINIGUNG
Stellen Sie vor der Aufbewahrung sicher,
dass die Laterne sauber und trocken ist.
♦ Bewahren Sie die Laterne NICHT in
feuchtem Zustand auf.

♦ Reinigen Sie die Laterne mit einem

FEHLERBEHEBUNG

LIMITED WARRANTY
We warrant for one year from purchase
date and only to the original retail buyer
(Buyer) that our products (Products)
are free from defects in material and
workmanship. For lighting products,
our warranty is for three years. If Buyer
discovers a covered defec t, Buyer
should return the Product to the place
of purchase. In the event that this is not
possible, return the Product to us at the
address provided. The Product will be
repaired or replaced at our discretion.
That is the extent of our liability under
this Warranty and, upon expiration of
the applicable warranty period, all such

The Orbit functions with either 4 AAA
alkaline or lithium batteries or the Black
Diamond NRG Rechargeable Battery Kit

When using AAA batteries:

LINTERNA ORBIT
IMPORTANTE: Sigue cuidadosamente
todas las instrucciones. Cualquier

BATERÍAS
La linterna Orbit funciona indistintamente
con 4 baterías alcalinas o de litio de
tipo AAA o bien con el Kit de Batería
Recargable NRG2 de Black Diamond (que
se vende por separado).
Si deseas que tu linterna Orbit funcione
en la modalidad recargable, compra el Kit
de Batería Recargable NRG2 y sigue las
instrucciones de uso.
Si utilizas baterías de tipo AAA:
♦ No mezcles baterías nuevas y usadas.
♦ Deposita las baterías gastadas en
un contenedor específico para pilas
usadas.
La vida de las baterías puede variar,
dependiendo de:
♦ El tipo de baterías de que se trate.
♦ La marca y fecha de fabricación de las
baterías
♦ La temperatura ambiente
♦ De la intensidad de alumbrado con que
la utilices.
COLOCACIÓN DE LAS BATERÍAS
ALCALINAS (Figura 2, figura 3, figura

FUNCIONAMIENTO
Para encender y apagar la linterna Orbit,
pulsa el botón central de color naranja
(figura 6).
♦ La Orbit se enciende siempre con la
intensidad de alumbrado máxima.
♦ Mantén presionado el botón para
reducir o incrementar la intensidad de
alumbrado.
♦ La luz se pondrá intermitente cuando
alcance la intensidad más baja posible,
y a partir de ese momento la intensidad
aumentará.
♦ La luz se pondrá intermitente al
alcanzar la intensidad más alta posible,
y a partir de ahí empezará a decrecer.
♦ Para colgar la linterna Orbit, utiliza
uno de los dos ganchos o bien los dos
a la vez como si se tratara de un aro
cerrado (figura 7).
LIMPIEZA
Asegúrate de que la linterna está limpia y
seca antes y después de utilizarla y antes
de guardarla.
♦ NUNCA guardes la linterna mojada o

GARANTÍA LIMITADA
Garantizamos por un año desde la fecha
de compra y sólo al comprador original
(Comprador) que nuestros productos
(Productos) están libres de defectos tanto
de material como de montaje. Para las
linternas frontales nuestra garantía es
de tres años. Si el Comprador descubre
un defecto cubierto por la garantía, el
Comprador debe devolver el producto al
lugar donde lo compró. Si eso no fuera
posible, que nos devuelva el Producto
a nosotros a la dirección indicada. El
Producto será reparado o sustituido a
nuestro criterio. Este es el alcance
de nuestra responsabilidad bajo esta
garantía y, cuando expire el periodo de
garantía aplicable, se extinguirá dicha
responsabilidad. Nos reservamos el
derecho de requerir justif icante de
compra para cualquier reclamación
relativa a la garantía.
Exclusiones de la garantía:
Nuestra Garantía no cubre el desgaste
normal de los Productos (como cortes y
abrasiones con los cantos de los esquís,
desgaste de suelas, etc.), así como
tampoco modificaciones o alteraciones
no autoriz adas, uso inade cuado,
mantenimiento inadecuado, accidentes,
abusos, negligencias, daños o que el
Producto se use para un propósito para

IMPORTANTE: leggete le istruzioni
attentamente. Qualsiasi modifica di
questo prodotto comporterà la perdita
della garanzia. Un utilizzo improprio della
lanterna potrebbe causare danni anche
all’utente.
BATTERIE
La Orbit utilizza 4 batterie AAA alcaline,
oppure al litio, oppure le Black Diamond
NRG2 con kit carica batterie Kit (vendute
separatamente).
Per la ricarica acquistate il kit NRG2 e
seguite attentamente le istruzioni
allegate.
Quando utilizzate le batterie AAA:
♦ Non mescolate mai batterie usate con
nuove.
♦ Collocate le batterie correttamente.
La durata delle batterie potrà
dipendere da:
♦ Tipo di batterie.
♦ Marca e freschezza delle stesse.
♦ Temperatura ambiente.
♦ Modalità di illuminazione usata.
COME INSERIRE LE BATTERIE
ALCALINE (Illustrazione 2, 3, 4 e 5)
FUNZIONAMENTO
Per accendere (o spegnere) la Orbit,
premete l’interruttore centrale di colore
arancione (Illustrazione 6).
♦ La Orbit si accenderà sempre alla
massima luminosità.
♦ Premete l’interruttore per modificare
la luminosità .
♦ La luce lampeggerà quando avrete
raggiunto il limite minimo di
luminosità per iniziare nuovamente al
massimo.
♦ Allo stesso modo la luce lampeggerà
alla luminosità massima dopodichè
inizierà a diminuire.
♦ Per appendere la Orbit, utilizzate
l’apposito gancio che ruotandolo forma
un anello chiuso (IlIustration 7).
PULIZIA
Accertatevi che la lanterna sia pulita ed
asciutta prima e dopo l’uso e prima di
riporla.
♦ NON riponete mai la lanterna umida.
♦ NON riscaldatela per asciugarla.
♦ Utilizzate uno straccio inumidito per
pulirla. NON immergetela in acqua.
Asciugatela all’aria.

SUGGERIMENTI
Se la Orbit non funziona:
♦ Controllate che le batterie siano con
la polarità corretta e che i contatti
siano puliti.
♦ Cambiate le batterie.
♦ Ricaricate le batterie con l’ NRG2.
♦ Controllate che i contatti elettrici siano
puliti da eventuale ossido e nel caso
puliteli.
♦ Fate lavorare molte volte l’interruttore.

originale acquirente , che i nostri prodotti
sono esenti da difetti nel materiale e
nella lavorazione. Per le frontali la nostra
garanzia è di 3 anni. Se l’acquirente
scopre un difetto, deve spedire il prodotto
al luogo d’acquisto. Nel caso ciò non
sia possibile, rispedisci a noi il prodotto
all’indirizzo fornito. Il prodotto sarà
riparato e sostituito a nostra discrezione.
Questa è l’estensione della nostra
responsabilità nell’ambito di questo tipo
