setting the time (NH70)
1. Unscrew the crown and pull the
crown to the first click.
2. Turn the crown to set the hour
and minute hands.
3. Push the crown back to the normal
position and screw in the crown.

to wind up the watch (NH70)
There are two methods to wind up the
watch:
1. Manual winding. (Rotate the unscrewed
crown clockwise at normal position.)
2. To wind up with a winding machine.

The movement is fully wound up by turning the
crown a minimum 15-20 times. It will start to
move naturally after shaking slightly.
Full wind up conditions:(Reference information)
・Rotary speed: 30 rPM
・Operating time: 60 minutes

SETTING THE TIME (9039)
1. Gently unscrew the crown and pull
it out to the [B] position.
2. Turn the crown to set hour and
minute hands.
3. Push the crown back into the [A]
position.

1. Manual winding. Gently unscrew the
crown. Rotate the crown clockwise
at the [A] position.
2. Wind 15~20 times clockwise until
second hand starts to move naturally.

2. Turn the crown to set hour and
minute hands.
3. Push the crown back into the [A]
position.

1. Gently unscrew the crown and pull
it out to the [B] position.
2. Turn the crown clockwise to set the
date.
3. Push the crown back into the [A]
position.

The 24-hour hand moves correspondingly with the hour hand.

The moment the date changes it is midnight. When setting the hour hand, make sure
that AM/PM is correctly set by using the 24-hour hand as an AM/PM indicator.

It is necessary to adjust the date on the first day after a 30-day month and February.
•
Do not set the date between 9:00 PM. and 1:00 AM., as the date may not change
properly. If it is necessary to set the date during that period of time, first change the
time to any time outside of this period, set the date, and then reset to the correct
time.

DUAL TIME FUNCTION (VD31)
While staying in a different time zone from where you usually use this
watch, you can set the dual time hour hand to indicate the local time of
where you are staying.

dual time hour hand turns counter-
clockwise in one-hour increments.

is at the 12 o'clock position.

clockwise in 10-minute increments.
Each time the button B is pressed, the
dual time hour hand turns clockwise
in 10-minute increments.
The hand moves quickly if the button
is kept pressed.
