BTH-850 Bluetooth Headset
Some of the services in this manual are not supported by
all networks. This also applies to the GSM International
Emergency Number 112.
Contact your network operator or service provider if you
are in doubt whether you can use a particular service or not.

Introduction
BTH-850 Bluetooth handset(15g only) is a wireless headset based
on Bluetooth technology. It specially designs for different kinds of
Bluetooth cell phone. It has fair-sounding voice similar as classical soft
music; It has convenient hand-free service which makes your hands
out of picking up phone while driving and working; It has tiny power
output (0.001w only) which makes your head out of radiant harm
while phoning.
What is Bluetooth wireless technology?
The Bluetooth wireless technology makes it possible to connect any
compatible portable and stationary communications device without
using cables. The technology is based on a radio link that offers fast
and reliable transmission of voice and data information. It does not
require a line-of-sight connection in order to establish communication.
Bluetooth wireless technology uses a globally available frequency
Range intended to ensure communication compatibility worldwide.
How can I use my BTH-850 Bluetooth headset?
You can connect your BTH-850 headset to your mobilephone or PC
-or any device with Bluetooth wireless technology that supports the
Headset profile or the Handsfree profile. This user's guide focuses
on how to use the headset with your mobile phone. You need to have
a phone with built-in Bluetooth capability, or a phone with a
Bluetooth adapter connected to it. When the headset is connected to
your mobile phone, you can use voice control to make calls (if your
phone supports this function). The phone can be tucked a way in your
pocket or in a bag. You can handle incoming and out going calls, and
adjust the volume, using the buttons on the headset.

Getting started
Before you can use your BTH-850 headset, you must first:
·Charge the BTH-850 headset battery, using an appropriate charger.
·Pair the BTH-850 headset with a device, for example, a mobile phone.
Putting on the BTH-850 Bluetooth Headset
Charging
The BTH-850 headset comes with a built-in rechargeable battery.
We recommend that you charge the battery until the headset in
dicator light turn off before using the headset for the first time.
During charging, the indicator light shows a steady red light and
the
headset is turned off. When the battery is fully charged, the
indicator
will be off.
Charger
1. The input of BTH-850 headset's charger is 100 -240V.
2. It takes 2 to 2.5 hours to fully recharge the battery.

Pairing
To turn the BTH-850 headset on
·Press and hold MFB button (around 5 seconds) until you
hear 2short tone. The headset indicator light flashes blue once every 4 second.
To turn the headset off
·Press and hold MFB button (around 4 second)until you hear 2short tone.
The headset indicator light switches off.
Pairing the BTH-850 headset with a phone
·You pair the headset with the phone by adding it to a list of paired
devices in the phone. The two devices then recognize each other
when they connect. Once you have paired your
headset with the
phone, you do not need to pair it again until you
want to use it with another device.
·Make sure that the BTH-850 headset is within 1 m (3 ft)
of the phone.
To pair the headset with a Sony Ericsson T618 cell phone
l. With the headset turned off, press and hold MFB button for up to 8 seconds until the
indicator light on the headset flashes
blue and red.
2. To turn Bluetooth on In standby, press ?more?Select Turn on Bluetooth
3. To pair headset and phone
?Menu?-- ?Connect?-- ?Bluetooth?--?My device?--
?Add a device?-- ?Search?-- ?Select BTH-850?--?Enter
passkey:0000?--?Display:BTH-850?-- ?Success?
4. When pairing has been completed, the indicator light on the
headset flashes blue once every 4 secretary.
5. You may now replace the given headset name with a personal nametag.

To pair the BTH-850 headset with
another make of phone
1. Prepare your phone according to the
phone's user
manual on pairing.
2. Press MFB button for up to 8 seconds
until the indicator light on the headset
flashes blue and red.
The headset is now ready for pairing.
3. Continue according to the instructions
in the phone's user manual.
4. The headset passkey is 0000.
Putting on the headset
1. Make sure the ear hook forms an angle
of 90.
2. Place the ear hook behind your ear.
3. Make sure the microphone is pointing
towards your
mouth.
4. Make sure the speaker is positioned as
shown in the
picture.

Using the Headset
Once you have paired the headset with your phone, you can make and receive calls using the
headset as long as it is turned on and within range of the phone-up to 10m(30ft) outdoors or up
to 5m(15 fu)indoors with no solid objects in between. For best performance, use the headset
and phone in the same room.

Troubleshooting & Warning
·No sound contact between headset and phone
The headset and the phone you are using with it have to paired to recognize each other. They also have to be
within range of each other. Make sure that there are no solid objects, such as walls or furniture, in between
the headset and the phone.
·The indicator light flash red
This indicates that the headset has only limited talk and standby time left. Charge the headset battery for
approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.
·Don’t expose the Headset and Charger under liquid, moisture or humidity as they aren’t waterproof.
·Don’t use the Headset and Charger in extreme temperature.
·If you don’t use the Headset to long periods, be sure store it in a dry place and far away extreme
temperature and dust.
·Only use charger of manufacturer supplied when charging the headset.
