Device Registration
Scan the QR code attached
to the back of each device.
Linking the Aero Motion to
your profile is necessary to
record and upload data.

Calibrate your optimal position
by pressing the button
three times (3x).
Press and hold the button
until the green LED start
sequence is visible.

Activate Reference Mode
The LEDs blink red.
Slide it into the mounting on your handlebars.

Start riding and focus on your
speed position.

Per default the most recent Aero
Profile is used to analyze your current
riding performance.
Save your Aero Profile on the Ride

Cover the Aero Motion by hand while riding to
save your current speed position.
Beep tone upon success.

You can repeat the calibration
process multiple times. Your Aero
Profiles are shown in the App Settings.

Press the button once (1x).
The starting sequence counts five beeps
underlined with red LEDs upon each by
other. GO!

Slide the Aero Motion into the
mounting on your handlebars.
Speed Position and Stability Analysis

The Aero Motion continuously measures the
distance from your upper body to the handlebars.
The Aero Motion detects when you are riding in
speed position and compares it to the previously
saved reference position (Aero Profile).
The Aero Motion analyses your speed stability
based on steering behaviour and wheel sets.

Visual and Acoustical Feedback

The stop sequence consists of a beep tone
underlined with a green LED sequence.

Slide the Aero Motion out of the
mounting on your handlebars.
Press the button once (1x).
To upload your sessions, the Aero Motion
must be powered on and near to a known
WiFi network (see page 7).

The feedback system is
only active while riding in
speed position.
The acoustical feedback
consists of a double beep
(2x).
The visual feedback is
based on a traffic light
depicted on the right.
It rings if not riding in your
optimal speed position for
two or more minutes.

Add a WiFi network by pressing
the button four times (4x)
until the middle LED blinks blue.
Open WiFi Settings on your Smartphone.
Select VORN Core / VORN Aeromotion Network
and press connect. Wait for Pop-Up Window.
Enter Name (SSID) and Password of known WiFi
Network and press save. Your Aero Motion auto-
connects to saved networks nearby.
Save Smartphone Hotspot on your Aero Motion.
The Aero Motion requires a 2.4 GHz WiFi Network.
iPhone 12 or later: Go to Settings -> Personal Hotspot.
"Maximise Compatibility" must be enabled.

Repeat to add more WiFi networks.
Up to 8 WiFi networks can be saved per device.

Active Internet Connection
The device is connected to a
WiFi network when the middle
LED is flasing in green/blue.
Only visible when device is turned
on and not recording data.
Recorded sessions will be uploaded
automatically*. The blue LED blinks
rapidly while upload is active.
*Requires successful registration (see page 2).

To activate different Aero Profiles in the App, the
Aero Motion must be connected to the internet.
Software Update

The device must be ON, connected to a WiFi and
plugged in.
Go to the App Settings page and click on the Aero
Motion menu.
Select "Update".
The LEDs on your Aero Motion start to flash rapidly in
white. Do not press the button nor unplug from
power source! Upon success the green LED is visible.

Safety and Support

The Aero Motion can be charged with standard power
chargers and USB-C cables. This device is a prototype and
not for the public. In case of mechanical or water damages
please contact us directly via Email or via the App. Do not
charge the device in case of water damages. The Aero
Motion comes with safety features to prevent the battery
from overheating. If the device is too hot, it will shut down
automatically. If the device detects water, it will shut down
automatically. Direct sunlight might alter the battery and
diminish distance measurements. Please make sure that
the cover glass on the surface of the Aero Motion is free
from dust, sunscreen or similar.
