Make it your own with
optional interchangeable grilles,
a Boston exclusive.
Boston Horizon HPS Powered Subwoofers
play deep. play smart.
Four new ways to meet the neighbors. Boston believes bass should be felt, as well as heard. That’s why all Horizon powered subwoofers,
including the wireless HPS 8Wi, feature large front-ring drivers with Boston’s proprietary Deep Channel® Design (DCD) technology.
And unlike conventional black-box subwoofers that aren’t much to look at, HPS subwoofers share the stylish contemporary look of HS
Series loudspeakers. So hold on to your popcorn. The turbulence is purely intentional.

What it means to be from Boston.
Many manufacturers design speaker systems around third-party, o-the-shelf parts.
Boston Acoustics engineers every component of every system to meet the highest
performance standards (our own). Of course, performance is only one measure of value.
So we’re careful to build all our products with strict attention to everything from the choice
of materials to the details of t and nish. It’s how we’ve been exceeding the expectations
of serious listeners for nearly thirty years.
Raw power, rened.
There’s no denying that HPS subwoofers are powerful, but they can’t be confused with
blunt instruments. The front baes are gently curving surfaces. The woofer assemblies
feature low-mass cones and the cabinets are extensively ribbed and braced with MDF to
reduce unwanted resonances. And every model features a volume and crossover control
to adjust performance to the acoustics of your room, and a phase switch to keep output in
sync with your speakers. The result is deep, distortion-free bass that enhances (rather than
overpowers) speaker performance — even at the highest output levels.
