SPRAYING
1. Press the Spray Button to spray water on clothes as often as required.
NOTE: When using the water spray function, ensure that there is enough water in the water tank.
You may have to pump the Spray Button several times at first time in order to start the spraying
function.
VERTICAL OR BURST OF STEAM IRON
1. Press the Burst of Steam Button to generate a powerful burst of steam that can penetrate the
fabric and smooth out the toughest of creases. Wait for a few seconds before pressing again.
2. By pressing the Burst of Steam Button at intervals you can also iron vertically (curtains; hung
garments, etc.)
3. Note: The Burst of Steam function can only be used at high temperature. Stop the emission
when the Pilot Light illuminates, then start ironing again only after the Pilot Light is switches off.
DRY IRONING
1. For ironing without steam, follow the instruction in section ‘steam ironing’, however, the Steam
Control Switch should remain in the ‘OFF’ position (no steam).
ANTI-CALC SYSTEM
1. Aspecialfilterinsidethewatertank softens the water and prevents scale build-up in the
soleplate. The filter is permanent and does not need replacing.
2. Note: Use tap water only. Distilled and demineralized water makes the anti-calc system
ineffective by altering its physio-chemical characteristics.
ANTI-DRIP SYSTEM
1. This Steam Iron is equipped with drip stop function: the Steam Iron automatically stops
steaming when the temperature is too low to prevent water from dripping out of the soleplate.
AUTO SHUT-OFF
1. An electronic safety device will automatically switch the heating element off if the Steam Iron
has not been moved for more than 30 seconds in a horizontal position. If in a vertical position,
this will happen after 8 minutes. To indicate that the heating element has been switched off, the
auto-off pilot light will start blinking.
2. When picking up the Steam Iron again, the Auto Shut-off Light will switch off. The Pilot Light
will illuminate. This indicates that the Steam Iron is heating up again.
3. Wait for the Pilot Light to turn off. The Steam Iron will be ready for use once again.
2. With the anti-drip system, even the most delicate of fabrics can be ironed.

6
SELF CLEANING SYSTEM
The Self Cleaning feature on the Steam Iron cleans the inside of the Nano Ceramic Soleplate,
removing impurities.
We recommend using it every 10-15 days.
1. Set the Steam Control Switch to the ‘OFF’ position (no steam)
2. Fill the water tank to the MAX level.
3. Set the Temperature Control Dial to MAX heat temperature
4. Plug the Steam Iron into the mains electrical supply.
5. Place the Steam Iron upright on a level, sturdy surface
6. Wait for the pilot light to turn off.
7. Unplug the Steam Iron from the mains electrical supply.
8. Hold the Steam Iron in a horizontal position over a sink.
9. Press the Self-Cleaning Button down until the boiling water, steam and impurities come out of
the holes in the soleplate.
10. When the Nano Ceramic Soleplate has cooled down, wipe it with a damp cloth.
CLEANING AND MAINTAINANCE
1. After using, lift the Steam Iron with the filling hole pointing downwards to empty the remaining
water from the water tank.
2. Insert the plug into the electrical socket, and set the Temperature Control to ‘MAX’ for 1-2
minutes to evaporate the remaining water. Thereafter unplug the Steam Iron from the mains
electrical supply and allow it to cool down completely before storing.
