WARNINGS
This appliance is intended for ĚŽŵĞƐƟĐ household use only and should

Storing Discs
AŌer playing, store the disc in its case. Do not expose the disc to direct
sunlight or source of heat and never leave it in a parked car exposed to
direct sunlight.
Cleaning Discs
Fingerprints and dust on the disc can cause poor picture quality and
sound distorƟon. Before playing, clean the disc with a clean cloth. Wipe
the disc from the centre out.
Do not use strong solvents such as alcohol, benzine, thinner,
commercially available cleaners, or - spray intended for older
vinyl records.

GETTING STARTED
ŽŶŶĞĐƟŶŐ to AC Power
Plug one end of the power adapter into the DC IN 9 12V jack on the
side of your player, and the other end into the mains socket.
ĂƵƟŽŶ!
When you unplug the adapter, always pull the plug from the mains
socket. Never pull the cord.
ŽŶŶĞĐƟŶŐ to a car ĐŝŐĂƌĞƩĞ ůŝŐŚƚĞƌ socket
1. Plug one end of the car adapter into the DC IN 9 12V jack on the
side of your player.
2. Plug the other end of the adapter into a car ĐŝŐĂƌĞƩĞ lighter socket.
3. Turn on your player.
Connecting Audio/Video Cable
1. Connect the single connector end of the supplied audio/video cable
to the AV OUT jack of the unit.
2. Connect the triple connector end of the supplied audio/video cable
to the corresponding jacks of the TV display.
NOTE: Match the colour of the AV cable with the jacks of TV display.
The yellow cable is for the yellow video jack, the red/white
cable is for the red/white audio jacks.
ŚĂƌŐŝŶŐ tŚe Incorporated ĂƩĞƌLJ of ƚŚe DVD ƉůĂLJĞr
The DVD player has an incorporated ďĂƩĞry, to charge the bĂƩĞƌLJ,
connect the supplied power adapter cable to the DC IN 9 12V jack. The
red charge indicator light will be illuminated. When the ďĂƩĞƌLJ is fully
charged, the red charge indicator light will
turn green.
NOTE: It will take approximately 4 hours to fully charge the bĂƩĞƌLJ.

OPERATION
PLAYING A DVD/VCD
1. Slide the ON/OFF switch at the side of the player to “ON” to turn on
the player.
x The power indicator light will
illuminate.
2. Press to open the disc tray and insert your chosen disc in the
tray, with the label side facing up.
3. Close the tray by pressing the PRESS
posiƟon unƟl a click is heard.
x Play will start ĂƵƚŽŵĂƟĐĂůůLJ
Controlling playback
x Press on the remote once to stop playback. Your player
remembers where you stopped. If you press on the remote, your
player starts playing at the point where you stopped.
x Press twice to stop playback. If you press , your player starts
playing at the beginning of the disc.
x Press to pause playback. Press this ďƵƩŽŶ again to resume
playback.
x Press on the remote to fast-forward on the disc. Each ƟŵĞ you
press this ďƵƩŽŶ the fast-forward speed changes from 2, 4, 8,16 to 32
Ɵmes the normal speed.
x Press on the remote to fast-reverse on the disc. Each ƟŵĞ you

Camera angle
If the disc contains scenes recorded at Ěŝīerent camera angles, you
can change to a Ěŝīerent camera angle during playback. Repeatedly
press ANGLE on the remote during play to select a desired angle. Note
that the number of the current angle will appear on screen.
Title
Press TITLE on the remote, then the DVD menu or tles available on
the disc will be displayed. Then you can use and ENTER to
select programs.
Step
Repeatedly press STEP on the remote to play the disc frame by frame.
Program Play
1. Press PROGRAM on the remote, the program menu will appear
(take DVD for example).
2. Use the numeric keypad to input the tracks or chapters.
3. Move the cursor by pressing to select PLAY and press
ENTER.
4. To resume normal play from programmed play, press PROGRAM
and select CLEAR on the program menu.

PLAYING AN AUDIO CD, MP3 DISC
Audio CD
Once an Audio CD is inserted it will be played Its play

When you press DISPLAY the display will show the pl me.
Press /to move to the next / previous track.
Repeatedly press / to play (search) the current track at Ěŝīerent
speeds, each press will select 2X, 4X, 8X, 16X,32X or back to play, the sound
will be muted during search, press to return to normal play.
MP3
1. Press▲/▼to select a folder if available and press ENTER to check
the folder contents.
2. Press ▲/▼to select a track then press . Play will start.
Pause:
1. Press during play.
2. To return to play, press again.
Moving to a Desired Track:
Press /during play to play the desired track or repeatedly press
▲/▼to select the track you want to play and then press ENTER to
play.
You can play any track by its number.

PLAYING A JPEG DISC
Viewing a JPEG Disc:
1. Insert a JPEG disc and close the tray.
2. Use to highlight the ĮůĞ you want to play and press ENTER or

to return to previous picture, and press MENU to enter the
folder menu.
Slide Show:
There are 16 wipe modes for slide show.
You can repeatedly press PROGRAM on the remote to select the
desired slide show mode.

To rotate a picture:
Press during play to rotate the picture clockwise or
counter-clockwise or have an invert or mirror picture.
USB PLAY
USB with mp3&pictures (.jpg) may be played and displayed through
the unit. The USB port can be used to supply signals to the uniƞƌŽŵ
USB sources.
1. Switch the unit on.
2. Insert a USB device into the USB port on the side oŌŚe unit.
3. Press SOURCE and then press /

to highlight “MEDIA”.
Press to highlight "USB".
4. Press ENTER on the remote and the unit would a detect
the USB.
5. If USB is selected, the unit will begin to read the USB connected to it.
6. Use to selecƩŚe desired folder and then press ENTER.
SETUP MENU
Your player has a Setup menu to adjust for your player.
1. Press SETUP to access to the setup menu.
2. Press to selecƩŚe menu page you want.

General Setup TV Display Selects the aspect ra o. You can select:
·4:3 PANSCAN – Select this op on when the
player is connected to a normal TV. Wide-screen
images are shown on the screen, but with some
parts cropped automa cally.
·4:3 LETTERBOX – Select this when the player is
connected to a normal TV. Wide-screen images
are shown on the screen, with a black band on
the top and bo om.
·16:9 displays the vide image full-screen when
your player is connected to a widescreen TV.
·Wide Squeeze displays the screen squeezed to
4:3.
Angle Mark – Displays current angle se ng
informa on on the screen if available on the disc.
OSD Language – selects the language for the Setup
menu.
Closed Cap ons – Data that are hidden in the video
signal of some discs. Before you select this func on
ensure that the disc contains closed cap ons
informa on and your TV set also has this func on.
