Batterien einlegen
Für den Betrieb dieses Geräts benötigen
Sie zwei 1,5 V Alkali-Mangan-Batterien
(Typ Mignon LR6, AM3, AA). Damit
erreichen Sie eine Laufzeit von bis zu
90 Minuten.
Ziehen Sie die Batteriefach-Abdeckung
ab und setzen Sie die Batterien polrichtig
ein. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Bat-
teriefach-Abdeckung trocken und sauber
ist, bevor Sie das Batteriefach wieder
schließen.
Rasieren
Für strahlende Haut: Das Silk&Soft-
System erfasst sogar Problemhärchen;
der integrierte SoftStrip strafft die Haut für
mehr Gründlichkeit und die flexible Scher-
folie und der bewegliche Langhaarschnei-
der passen sich der Hautoberfläche an,
damit eine perfekte, gründliche Rasur
gewährleistet wird.
Für mehr Hautschonung: Die EasyGlide-
Fläche erleichtert das Gleiten des Scher-
kopfs über die Haut und verringert so
Hautreizungen.
• Drücken Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter und
schieben Sie ihn nach oben. Verge-
wissern Sie sich, dass der TrimLock-
Schalter (2) auf « » (= Rasur) einge-
stellt ist.
• Führen Sie das Gerät langsam gegen
die Haarwuchsrichtung. Der bewegli-
che Langhaarschneider passt sich der
Hautoberfläche an – er richtet die
längeren Haare auf und schneidet sie
ab. Dann folgt die flexible Scherfolie
und entfernt alle noch verbliebenen
Härchen.
• Stellen Sie immer sicher, dass die
Scherfolie und der Langhaarschneider
in Kontakt mit der Haut sind.
Rasieren und Stylen im Achselbereich
und in der Bikinizone
Bei der Rasur in diesen empfindlichen
Körperbereichen muss die Haut immer
gestrafft werden (B), um Verletzungen zu
vermeiden. Achten Sie insbesondere auf
Hautunebenheiten wie z. B. Stielwarzen,
die nicht mit dem Langhaarschneider
überstrichen werden sollten.
Rasur im Achsel- und Bikinibereich:
Führen Sie den Scherkopf nur über
gestraffte Haut.
Stylen der Bikinizone:
Zum Trimmen exakter Linien und Kontu-
ren, stellen Sie den Langhaarschneider
(1d) fest, indem Sie den TrimLock-Schalter
(2) auf die Position « » schieben (C1).
Um Haare auf eine einheitliche Länge zu
kürzen, stellen Sie den Langhaarschneider
fest und setzen den Trimmer-Aufsatz für
die Bikinizone (6) auf den Scherkopf (C2).
Für beste Ergebnisse das Gerät langsam
gegen die Haarwuchsrichtung führen.
Nach der Haarentfernung
Sie können nach der Haarentfernung
etwas Creme oder Körperlotion auftragen.
Vermeiden Sie jedoch unmittelbar nach
der Haarentfernung die Verwendung von
Substanzen, die Hautreizungen hervor-
rufen können, wie z. B. alkoholhaltige
Deodorants.
Reinigung
Reinigen mit der Bürste (D1)
• Entriegelungstasten (1e) drücken und
den Scherkopf abnehmen. Die Unter-
seite des Scherkopfs leicht ausklop-
fen (nicht auf die Metallseite klopfen).
• Mit der Bürste den Klingenblock und
den inneren Bereich des Rasierkopfs

reinigen. Die Scherfolie darf nicht mit
der Bürste gereinigt werden, da dieses
zu Beschädigungen führen könnte.
Reinigen des Scherkopfs unter
fließendem Wasser (D2)
• Entriegelungstasten drücken und den
Scherkopf abnehmen.
• Scherkopf und Klingenblock separat
unter warmes, fließendes Wasser
halten. Gelegentlich Seife verwenden
(Flüssigseife auf natürlicher Basis ohne
Scheuermittel). Den Schaum gut
abspülen.
• Scherkopf und Klingenblock separat
trocknen lassen.
So halten Sie Ihren Braun
Silk·épil in Bestform
• Die Scherteile sollten regelmäßig etwa
alle 3 Monate geölt werden (E). Wenn
Sie den Scherkopf unter Wasser reini-
gen, sollten die Scherteile nach jeder
Reinigung geschmiert werden.
Verteilen Sie etwas Leichtmaschinenöl
oder Vaseline auf der Scherfolie (E1)
und dem Langhaarschneider (E2).
Nehmen Sie dann den Scherkopf ab
und tragen Sie auch etwas Vaseline auf
das Klingenblocklager auf (E3).
• Scherfolie und Klingenblock sind Präzi-
sionsteile, die mit der Zeit verschlei-
ßen. Um eine optimale Rasierleistung
zu erhalten, sollten Sie Scherfolie und
Klingenblock wechseln, sobald sie Ver-
schleißerscheinungen zeigen.
• Verwenden Sie den Rasierkopf nicht,
wenn die Scherfolie beschädigt ist.
• Scherteilewechsel
Scherfolie: Entriegelungstasten drücken
und den Scherkopf (2) abnehmen. Zum
Lösen der Scherfolie drücken Sie den
Kunststoffrahmen nach unten (F). Die
neue Scherfolie wird von innen in den
Scherkopf eingesetzt.
Klingenblock: Um den Klingenblock
abzunehmen, drücken und drehen Sie
ihn um 90° (G1). Beim Aufsetzen des
neuen Klingenblocks wieder drücken
und um 90° drehen (G2).
• Zubehörteile (Rasierfolie, Klingenblock)
sind beim Händler oder Braun Kunden-
dienst erhältlich.

Entsorgung
Dieses Gerät enthält Batterien und
wiederverwertbare Elektrobauteile.
Aus Umweltschutzgründen sollen
leere Batterien oder ausgediente
Geräte nicht mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt,
sondern bei kommunalen Recycling- bzw.
Altgerätesammelstellen abgegeben
werden.
Garantie
Als Hersteller übernehmen wir für dieses

Inserting the batteries
This appliance operates on two 1.5 V
batteries. For best performance, use
alkaline manganese batteries (type LR 6,
AM3, AA). These batteries provide a
shaving capacity of up to 90 minutes
approximately.
Open the battery compartment and
insert the batteries with the poles in the
direction marked. Before closing the
battery compartment, make sure the
cover is dry and clean.
Shaving
For radiant skin, the Silk&Soft system
captures even problem hairs, the
integrated SoftStrip stretches the skin
to ensure a closer reach and the floating
shaver foil and the floating longhair
trimmer hug the skin, all to ensure a
perfectly close shave. For a gentle shave,
the EasyGlide cushion ensures smoother
gliding and reduces skin irritation.
• Press and slide up the on/off switch to
turn the shaver on. Make sure that the
TrimLock (2) is in the « » position.
• Move the appliance slowly against the
direction of hair growth. Adjusting to
the body contours, the long hair trim-
mer first raises all long hairs and cuts
them off. Then the shaver foil follows
to smooth away any stubble.
• Always ensure that both, the shaver foil
and the long hair trimmer are in contact
with the skin.
Shaving and styling the underarm and
bikini area
In these sensitive areas, make sure that
you always shave on stretched skin in
order to avoid injuries (B). Please take
special care if the skin surface is uneven
or provided with skin tags. Make sure not
to touch them with the long hair trimmer.

Shaving the underarm and bikini area:
Always stretch your skin when shaving.
Bikini area styling:
For trimming precise lines and contours,
lock the long hair trimmer by sliding the
TrimLock to the position « » (C1).
To trim hair to a uniform length, lock the
long hair trimmer and place the bikini
zone trim attachment (6) onto the shaver
head (C2). For optimum results, move the
appliance slowly against the direction of
hair growth.
When you are finished
After shaving, you may want to smooth
on a little body cream or lotion. However,
avoid using irritating substances like
deodorants with alcohol right away.
Cleaning
Cleaning the shaver head with the
brush (D1)
• Press the release buttons (1e) to
remove the shaver head. Tap the
bottom of the shaver head gently on a
flat surface (not on the foil).
• Brush out the cutter block and the
inside of the shaver head. However, do
not clean the shaver foil with the brush
as this may damage the foil.
Cleaning the shaver head under
running water (D2)
• Press the release buttons to remove
the shaver head.
• Rinse the shaver head and the cutter
block separately under warm running
water. A natural based soap may
also be used provided it contains no
particles or abrasive substances.
Rinse off all foam.
• Leave the cutter block and the shaver
foil to dry separately.
Keeping your Braun Silk·épil
in top shape
• The shaving parts need to be
lubricated regularly every 3 months (E).
If you clean the shaver head under
running water, lubricate it after each
cleaning.
Apply some light machine oil or
vaseline to the shaver foil and the
metal parts of the long hair trimmer.
Then remove the shaver head and also
apply a tiny amount of vaseline as
shown in picture section (E).
• The shaver foil and the cutter block are
precision parts that wear out with time.
To maintain optimum shaving perform-
ance, replace your foil and cutter block
when you notice a reduced shaving
performance.
• Do not use the shaver head with a
damaged shaving foil.
• How to replace the shaving parts
Shaver foil: Press the release buttons
to remove the shaver head. To remove
the shaver foil, press the blue plastic
frame (F). To mount a new one, insert it
from inside the shaver head.
Cutter block: To remove the cutter
block, press and turn it 90° (G1), then
take it off. To put on a new cutter
block, press it onto the cutter block
holder and turn 90° (G2).
• Replacements parts (shaver foil, cutter
block) can be obtained from your
retailer or Braun Customer Service
Centres.

This product contains batteries and

dispose of these in the household

we will eliminate any defects in the

Insertion des piles
Votre Silk·épil de Braun fonctionne
avec 2 piles 1,5 V. Pour une performance
optimale, utilisez des piles alcalines (type
LR6, AM3, AA). Ces piles procurent une
capacité de rasage de jusqu’à environ
90 minutes.
Ouvrez le compartiment à piles et insérez
les piles selon le marquage des pôles.
Avant de refermer le compartiment à
piles, vérifiez que le capot est propre
et sec.
Rasage
Pour une peau rayonnante, le système
Silk&Soft capture même les poils rebelles,
la bande SoftStrip tend la peau et la grille
flottante et le peigne amovible suivent
les courbes du corps, pour assurer
un rasage parfaitement précis. Pour un
rasage doux, la protection Easy Glide
assure une glisse optimale et réduit les
irritations de la peau.
• Appuyez sur le bouton de l’interrupteur
et faites le glisser pour allumer le rasoir.
Vérifiez que le bouton sélecteur (2) est
en position « » (rasage).
• Déplacez l’appareil lentement dans le
sens inverse de la pousse du poil.
S’ajustant aux courbes du corps, la
tondeuse, soulève tous les poils longs
et les coupent. Puis, la grille de rasoir
intervient pour retirer les poils restants.
• Assurez vous que la grille du rasoir et
la tondeuse sont toujours bien en con-
tact avec la peau.
Rasage des zones sensibles (les
aisselles et le bikini)
Lorsque vous rasez ces zones sensibles,
assurez-vous bien que votre peau soit
tendue de façon à éviter des petites
blessures (B). Redoublez d’attention
lorsque vous avez quelques marques sur
la peau et évitez de passer la tondeuses
sur ces marques.
Rasage des zones sensibles (les aisselles
et le bikini) :
Pensez toujours à tendre votre peau avant
de la raser.
Rasage du bikini :
Pour dessiner les contours de votre bikini,
bloquez la tondeuse en faisant glisser le
bouton sélecteur (2) sur la position « »
(C1). Pour raccourcir les poils à une
longueur uniforme, bloquez la tondeuse à
poils longs et placez l’accessoire maillot
(6) sur la tête de rasage (C2). Pour des
résultats optimums, déplacez l’appareil
lentement en sens inverse de la pousse
des poils.
Lorsque vous avez fini de vous raser
Après vous être rasée, vous pouvez
utiliser une crème ou une lotion pour le
corps pour hydrater la peau. Cependant,
évitez d’appliquer juste après des sub-
stances irritantes telles que les déodo-
rants contenant de l’alcool.
Nettoyage
Nettoyage de la tête du rasoir avec la
brosse (D1)
• Appuyez sur les boutons d’éjection
latéraux et ôtez la tête du rasoir.
Tapotez doucement la tête du rasoir
contre une surface plane (pas sur la
grille).
• Passez la brossette sur le bloc-cou-
teaux et à l’intérieur de la tête du rasoir.
Cependant, ne nettoyez pas la grille du
rasoir avec la brossette, cela peut
l’endommager.

Nettoyage de la tête du rasoir sous
l’eau courante (D2
• Appuyez sur les boutons d’éjection
latéraux et ôtez la tête du rasoir.
Tapotez doucement la tête du rasoir
contre une surface plane (pas sur la
grille).
• Rincez la tête du rasoir et le bloc-
couteaux séparément sous l’eau
courante tiède. Un savon basique peut
être utilisé s’il ne contient pas de
particules ou de substances abrasives.
• Laissez le bloc-couteaux et la tête du
rasoir sécher séparemment à l’air libre.
De temps en temps, vous pouvez
nettoyer le rasoir en utilisant la brosse
qui est fournie.
Prolongez la vie de votre
rasoir Silk·épil de Braun
• La grille et le bloc-couteaux doivent
être lubrifiés régulièrement tous les
3 mois (E). Si vous lavez la tête de votre
rasoir sous l’eau courante, lubrifiez-la
après chaque nettoyage. Appliquez
une goutte d’huile ou de vaseline sur la
grille et sur les parties métalliques de la
tondeuse. Puis, ôtez la tête du rasoir et
appliquez une légère dose de vaseline
comme montré sur le schéma (E).
• La grille et le bloc-couteaux sont des
pièces fragiles qui s’usent avec le
temps. Pour maintenir une perfor-
mance optimale de rasage, remplacez
votre grille et votre bloc-couteaux
lorsque vous remarquez une baisse de
performance.
• N’utilisez jamais la tête rasoir avec une
grille endommagée.
• Comment remplacer la grille et le
bloc-couteaux
Grille : Appuyez sur les boutons
d’éjection latéraux et ôtez la tête du
rasoir. Pour enlever la grille, appuyez
sur la zone en plastique bleue (F).
Pour en placer une neuve, insérez-la à
• l’intérieur de la tête du rasoir.
Bloc-couteaux : Pour retirer le
bloc-couteaux, appuyez dessus puis
faites le tourner à 90° (G1). Pour mettre
un nouveau bloc-couteaux, insérez-le
sur la base prévue à cet effet et faites
le tourner à 90° (G2).
• Les accessoires (grille, bloc-couteaux)
sont vendus chez les distributeurs et
dans les centres de services consom-
mateurs agréés Braun.

A la fin de leur vie, les piles
usagées, ainsi que les appareils
ne doivent pas être jetés avec vos
ordures ménagères classiques.

Insertar las pilas
La afeitadora Braun Silk·épil funciona
con 2 pilas de 1,5 V. Para un mejor
rendimiento, se aconseja el uso de pilas
alcalinas de magnesio (tipo LR 6, AM3,
AA). Estas pilas proporcionan una
autonomía de hasta 90 minutos.
Abra el compartimento de pilas e inserte
las pilas con los polos en la dirección
marcada. Antes de cerrar el comparti-
mento de pilas, asegúrese que la tapa
esté limpia y seca.
Depilación
Para conseguir una piel radiante, Braun
Silk&Soft llega incluso al vello más difícil.
El sistema integrado de bandas ultra
suaves SoftStrip estira la piel asegurando
un alcance más cercano, mientras que el
cabezal de corte flotante y el accesorio
de recorte para el pelo largo están en
contacto con la piel. Todo ello asegura
una depilación perfecta.
Para una depilación más suave, la
almohadilla EasyGlide asegura un suave
deslizamiento de la afeitadora reduciendo
así la irritación de la piel.
• Presione y empuje hacia arriba el
botón de encendido/apagado para
encender la depiladora. Asegúrese de
que el Botón opcional perfilador/
recorte (2) esté en la posición « ».
• Mueva el aparato lentamente y sin
presionar contra la piel, en sentido
contrario al crecimiento del vello.

superficie de la piel no está estirada, o
tiene verrugas. Asegúrese de no tocarlas
con el accesorio de recorte para el pelo
largo.
Depilando las axilas y la línea del bikini:
Estire siempre la piel cuando se esté
depilando.
Perfilar la línea del bikini:
Para recortar de manera precisa la línea
del bikini y su contorno, cambiar el
aparato a la posición de perfilado,
deslizando el botón opcional perfilador/
recorte (2) a la posición « » (C1).
Para recortar el vello a la misma longitud,
bloquee el perfilador de pelo largo y
coloque el perfilador de bikini (6) en el
cabezal de corte (C2). Para un resultado
óptimo, guíe el aparato lentamente en
la dirección contraria al crecimiento del
vello.
Después de la depilación
Después de la depilación, puede
aplicarse una crema o loción hidratante
para el cuerpo. Sin embargo, evite la
aplicación de sustancias irritantes como
desodorantes con alcohol justo después
de la depilación.
Limpieza
Limpiando el cabezal de corte con el
cepillo de limpieza (D1)
• Pulse los botones de extracción del
cabezal para retirar el cabezal de corte.
Golpee suavemente en la parte de
abajo del cabezal de corte, sobre una
superficie lisa (no sobre la lámina)
• Pase el cepillo de limpieza por la
cuchilla y por dentro del cabezal de
corte. Sin embargo, no pase el cepillo
de limpieza por la lámina, ya que
podría dañarla.
Limpiando el cabezal de corte debajo
del agua del grifo (D2)
• Pulse los botones de extracción del
cabezal para retirar el cabezal de corte.
• Lave el cabezal de corte y las cuchillas
por separado con agua templada.
También es posible utilizar jabones
a base de productos naturales siempre
y cuando estos no contengan
partículas o sustancias abrasivas.
Elimine los restos de jabón.
• Ponga el cabezal de corte y las cuchil-
las a secar por separado.
Mantenga su afeitadora
femenina Braun Silk·épil en
estado óptimo
• Es necesario lubricar los elementos de
corte de la afeitadora regularmente
cada 3 meses (E). Si limpia el cabezal
de corte bajo el agua corriente,
lubrifíquelo después de cada limpieza.
Aplique unas ligeras gotas de aceite
lubricante o vaselina al cabezal de
corte y a las partes metálicas del
accesorio de recorte de pelo largo.
Después retire el cabezal de corte y
aplique también una pequeña cantidad
de vaselina tal y como se muestra en la
imagen (E).

• No utilice el cabezal de corte con una
lámina dañada.
• Cómo reemplazar los elementos de
corte de la afeitadora
Lámina: Presionar el botón para extraer
el cabezal de corte. Para retirar la
lámina, presione el soporte azul de la
lámina (F). Para poner una lámina
nueva, insértela dentro del cabezal de
corte.
Cuchilla: Para retirar la multi-cuchilla,
presiónela, gírela 90º (G1) y extráigala.
Para poner una multi-cuchilla nueva,
presione el soporte de cuchillas y gire
90º (G2).
• Las piezas de repuesto (lámina, bloque
multi-cuchilla) pueden obtenerse en su
tienda habitual, o en los Centros de
Servicio al Cliente de Braun.
