SkyBridge Plus
Quick Start Guide
1. Plug the micro USB power adapter
and Ethernet cables into the SkyBridge
Plus as shown in the figures. Initially,
you will want to plug your SkyBridge
Plus directly into your Ethernet router ia
the pro ided cable, as this will be the
simplest way to enter the initial settings
into the unit.
2. Once the power has been applied and the pro ided Ethernet
cable has been used to connect the SkyBridge directly to your
Ethernet router, it may take se eral seconds for your SkyBridge
to initialize. Once it does, you will be ready to find your
SkyBridge on your home or office network.
3. From your Windows Tool
Bar, type CMD and then
proceed to launch the
Command Prompt. (Some
ersions of Windows may
require you to go to the
Start Menu, select “Run”,
and then type “CMD” in the
box).

4. Once the command
prompt opens, enter
“ipconfig” at the prompt and
the Ipconfig menu will come
up. Typically, the IP address
shown in the Default
Gateway area is the IP
address of your thernet
router. You’ll need this to
find the static IP address that
your thernet router has
assigned to your SkyBridge.
5. Copy the IP address listed
in your Default Gateway to
your web browser. This
should allow you to access
your router and find your
SkyBridge device. If your
thernet router is password
protected, you may be
prompted for a user name
and password at this point
(or a default user name and
password). You may need to
contact your ISP or router
manufacturer if you are not
sure what this password is.
6. Once you’ve accessed
your thernet Router, browse
the Attatched Devices menu
or tab to see which IP
address is assigned to your
SkyBridge (Pi-Star) device.

7. From the listing, locate your Pi-Star device which is your
SkyBridge and note the IP address that is assigned to your
SkyBridge.
8. Enter the IP address in your we rowser and you should then e
a le to access your SkyBridge device for programming.
9. If prompted for a user name and password, the user name is “pi-
star” and the password is “rasp erry”.
10. You should now e in the Pi-Star Dash oard screen:
11. To egin programming, you will want to click the Configuration
utton on the top of the page. This will take you to the
Configuration screen where you’ll enter your credentials and
preferences.
