2.0 OPERATION CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS
2.1 Scaling Receiver Front Panel
1. SERVICE:
This port is reserved for firmware update only.
2.IR:
IR Receiver window (accepts the remote control signal of this
deviceonly).
3. OPTICALOUT:
Connect to an amplifier or active speaker with optical cable for
audiooutput.
4. HDMI OUT:
This slot is to connect with HDMI TV/Monitor.
5. MENU:
Press this button to enter into the OSD menu.
6. +/- :
Press these buttons to scroll up and down through the OSD
menu.
7. Enter:
Press this button to confirm the selection. Press this button
together with [–] key to switch output timing to 720p@60
instantly.Press this button together with [+] key to switch output
timing to XGA(1024x768) instantly.

2.2 Scaling Receiver Rear Panel
1. Power LED:
ThisLEDwill illuminatewhenthedeviceis connectedtoapower
supply.
2. DC 24V:
Plug the 24 V DC power supply into the unit and connect the
adaptor to an AC outlet. Only one side of power is needed to
activate both Transmitter and Receiver when both obtain the
PoHfunction.
3. RS-232 OUT:
This slot is to connect with D-Sub 9-pin cable from device
equipment for receiving RS-232 commands. Commands are
listed inAppendix B.
4. LAN:
Connect to an active network for LAN sharing of a total
transmission rate up to 100Mbps. Or when a compatible LAN
equipped Transmitter is connected to an active network, this
allowsthenetworkaccess(includinginternet accessifavailable)
to be shared between the Transmitter and Receiver. Connect
anyEthernet equippeddevicee.g.aSmartTVorgamesconsole
to the LAN port for that device to share the network internet
access.Note: DO NOT connect LAN cable with any of the
CAT5e/6/7port.Doingsomay trigger power shut down
andruin the device
5. IR Blaster:
Connect to the supplied IR Blaster cable for IR signal
transmission. Place the IR Blaster in direct line-of-sight of the
equipment to be controlled.

Connect to the supplied IR Receiver cables for IR signal
reception. Ensure that remote being used is within the direct
line-of-sight of the IR Extender.
7. MODE LED:
This LED will illuminated when the power is connected.
8. Link LED:
This LED will illuminate when the slot has been connected to
theTransmitterandtheTransmitterhasconnectedwithsources
that shows image on screen.
9. CAT5e/6 IN:
Connect to the Transmitter unit with a Single CAT5e/6/7 cable
for receiving all data signals.
2.3 ICP Front and Rear Panel
1. Digital I/O: Digital input/output ports.
2. RS-232: Serial port to control devices.
3. RELAY: Normally open and normally closed relay ports.
4. DC12V: DC power input connector.
5. IR Out: IR blaster port.
6. SW: The unit configuration dip switch
7. IR Learner: Built-in IR receiver for IR learning.
8. IR Learner LED: Lighted when the unit is IR learning mode.
9. CONFIG: Configuration/keypad port.

5.0 LB-ICP WEB SERVER DESCRIPTION
Introduction
The ICP Web Server provides user friendly and intuitive web pages to
configurethe virtual keypadandautomationfunctions within the ICP. It
alsoprovideswebpagestomanagethe IR Learner and IR code import.
A standard web browser can be used to access the web pages.
Accessing Web Server
TheIPaddress of the ICP must beobtainedinorderto access the Web
Server. There are 2 ways to obtain the IP address of an ICP.
1) Use the IPCONFIG command in the Configuration Port
Command Line Interface to display the unit’s IP address.
2) Use the BCI PC Configuration Program
Type in the unit’s IP address in the web browser. The ICP Virtual
Keypad page will be displayed. All 8keysoftheVirtualKeypadare un-
programmed by default. The keys are configured in the Configure
KeyAction page.

Beforeconfiguring the Virtual Keypad,the system firstneedstobeset
up using the Configure System page. On the top menu bar, click
Configure and then click System. Thisbrings up the ICPLogin page.
Inthe ICPLogintypeinadminfortheUserid andadminforthePassword
andthenclickSign in button. TheConfigure System page willappear.
See the following section for Configure System page details. Once
logged in, the user is free to open any of the Configure or Settings
pages. The default Password can be changed using the BCI Product
Configuration program.

Configure System
TheConfigure System page is used to configurethenetworkkeypad,
virtual keypad, RS-232 channels, Digital IO channels and remote unit
types.
On the top menu bar, click Configure and then click System. The
following page will be displayed.
