1.0 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TheLBC-H-R-DOPreceiveraccepts from the transmitterunitthesignal
ofresolutionsupto1080p Full HD, 4Kx2Ktiming,3Dandmulti-channel
digitalaudioformatsand sends to twoHDTVoutputs.The HDMI can be
connectedtoHDMIdisplayfor instantnearbydisplayandthe CAT-5e/6/7
can be connected to CAT5e/6/7 to HDMI transmitter for a distance of
up to 100 meters with Bidirectional PoC feature. Further, a total of
100Mbps Ethernet transmission rate allows all connected devices to
share the Ethernet service and Bi-directional PoC provides PoC to the
transmitter, or received from compatible PoC transmitter through
CAT-5e/6/7.

2.0 OPERATION CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS
2.1 Front Panel
1. HDMI OUT 1 & 2: Connect to HDMI displays for instant image
display or cascade with another family type transmitter. The
unit will detect HDMI OUT 1’s EDID when it obtain a 4Kx2K
EDIDandsendoutthe signal accordingly to otheroutputports.
If HDMI OUT 1’s EDID is without a 4Kx2K’s EDID the unit will
detect all output’s EDID and send out the signal that all output
can accept.
This device obtains the last memory function therefore, the
devicewillusethe last HDMIOUT1’sEDID when HDMIOUT
1 is not connected to a display after power cycling or switch
in between the EDID setting.
2. LAN: Connect to intranet or internet service system for a total
sharing rate of 100Mbps within the link of Receiver.
Warning: DO NOT connect this slot with any of the
CAT-5e/6/7 port, doing so may trigger a power shot down
and ruin the device.
3. RS-232 OUT: Connect to a RS-232 enabled device (with
supplied 3.5mm Phone Jack to D-Sub 9-Pin male adaptor) for
transmit of RS-232 commands.

2.2 Rear Panel
1. POWER LED: Once the power supply is connected the LED
willilluminate.
2. DC 24V: Plug the24VDCpowersupplyintothe unitandconnect
the adaptor to an AC outlet.
3. IR 2 BLASTER: ConnecttothesuppliedIR Blaster cable forIR
signaltransmission.Place theIRBlasterin directline-of-sightof
the equipment to be controlled.
4. IR 1 EXTENDER: Connect to the supplied IR Extender cable
forIRsignal reception.Ensurethat remotecontrollerbeing used
is within the direct line-of- sight of the IR Extender.
5. USB: This port is reserved for firmware update only.
6. LINKLED: ThelinkLEDwillilluminatewhenboththeinputsource
and output display signals are connected through CAT cable.
When it blinks regularly it states the display is NOT sending
signalstoReceiverbut theTransmitterandReceiverarelinked
and if it blink irregularly it states an error has occurred.
7. CAT-5e/6/7 IN: Connect this port to HDMI to CAT-5e/6/7
Transmitter(withor withoutPoCfunction) withCAT-5e/6/7cable
to extend the signal up to 100m.

4.0 MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING
4.1 Maintenance
Thereisnooperatormaintenanceother then keeping the units
clean. However,observethefollowinglightindicatorsto make
sure that the unit is working properly:
4.2 Troubleshooting
If the LBC-H-R-DOP units do not operate properly after
installation,checkfor possiblecablebreaks, looseconnections,
and incorrect cable connections. If problems persist that may
be fiber related, contact BCI at 1-800-214-0222 for further
assistance.
For electrical problems, perform the following troubleshooting
procedures:
1. If the POWER indicator is OFF, check for the following:
a. The line cord is plugged into the unit and your outlet
haspower.
2. If the POWER indicator is ON, but the Link indicator is
OFF, check for the following:
a. Makesuretheappropriatecablesarebeingused.
b. Cableandcableconnectorsarenotbroken.
c. For each unit, the transmit (TX) cable is connected to
theotherunit’sreceiver (RX).
3. If the POWER indicator and Link indicator are ON, but
the channels are not operating, then:
a. Checktoseethatthe attacheduserequipmentisturned
on.
b. Both ends of the link are connected to the
corresponding equipment and to the same
correspondingchannelport.

c. Cable connections at both channels are securely
fastened to each connector. Turn the power off, then
back on to reset the link.

6.1 Replacement Policy
Standard products found defective on arrival (DOA) will be
replaced,basedonavailability, within 24 to48hoursanywhere
in the U.S. Please call Customer Service at 800-214-0222 for
information.
6.2 Return/Repair Service
The LBC-H-R-DOP System contains no user serviceable
components.If youhave aproblem withyourunit,pleasecontact
the Customer Service Department. To facilitate our return/
repair processing please contact Broadata Communications,
Inc. to obtain a Return MaterialAuthorization (RMA). Please

7.0 LIMITED WARRANTY
Broadata Communications, Inc. (BCI) warrants, for a period of one
yearfromdateof shipment, eachproductsoldshall be freefromdefects
in material and workmanship. BCI will correct, either by repair, or at
BCI’s election, by replacement, any said products that in our sole
discretion prove to be defective and are returned to the manufacturing
location within 30 days after such defect is ascertained. All warranties
are limited to defects arising under normal use and do not include
malfunctionsorfailureresultingfrommisuse,abuse,neglect,alterations,
electrical power problems, usage not in accordance with product
instructions, improper installation, or damage determined by BCI to
havebeencausedbytheBuyer or repairmadebyathirdparty. Limited
warrantiesgrantedonproductsareto the initial customer end-user and
arenot transferable. OURLIABILITYUNDERTHISWARRANTYSHALL
IN ANY CASE BE LIMITED TO THE INVOICE VALUE OF THE
