Introduction
Please take a few moments to carefully read through this manual. Correct maintenance and operation of
this machine will provide the best possible performance from your BUFFALO product.

supplied fully functional and free of damage.
Should you find any damage as a result of transit, please contact your BUFFALO dealer immediately.
Operation
1. Remove the appliance from
the packaging. Make sure that
all protective plastic film and
plastic coatings are thoroughly
removed from all surfaces.
Note: Before using
for the first time,
clean the interior of
the appliance and
all parts in warm
soapy water, then
rinse thoroughly.
2. Ensure the Temperature Control
knob is set to ‘OFF’.

3. Remove the lid and fill the appliance to at least half of its capacity. Do not exceed the Max fill line.
4. Place the food to be steamed in the removable stainless steel basket.
5. Replace the lid.

6. Connect to the mains power supply and turn
the temperature control knob on. The power
indicator light illuminates.
7. Set the Temperature Control knob to maximum
to boil the water. The power indicator light
illuminates and the appliance heats the water.
8. When not steaming food the temperature
control knob can be lowered to keep the water
warm and reduce heating times.
WARNING: If the Temperature
Control Knob is set to maximum
then the appliance will
constantly heat the water until
the Temperature Control Knob
is turned Off or the temperature
is reduced.
Thermal Cut-Out Reset
This appliance is fitted with a Thermal Cut-Out
safety feature. Should the temperature exceed safe
levels the appliance will automatically cut power.
The Safety Cut-out switch resets automatically. To
reset the appliance:
1. Disconnect from mains power supply, empty
the appliance and allow to cool.
2. The appliance is now reset and can be used as
normal.
Cleaning, Care and
Maintenance
• Always turn off and disconnect the appliance
from the power supply before cleaning.
• Use soapy water and a damp cloth to clean the
exterior and interior of the appliance, and the
steamer basket.
• Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
De-scaling
In hard water areas lime scale can build up within
the appliance after prolonged use. To de-scale the
appliance:
1. Pour a solution of de-scaler and water into the
appliance.
2. Brush the interior gently with a soft bristled
brush.
3. Discard the solution collected in the appliance.
4. Fill the appliance with clean water and turn
back On to flush out the system. Flush out the
system thoroughly to remove any de-scaler
residue.
5. The appliance is now ready for use.
Note: Use a suitable de-
scaler and always follow the
instructions on the container.
BUFFALO recommend that this
appliance is de-scaled every
month or more frequently in
hard water areas.

Electrical Wiring
This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin BS1363 plug and lead.
The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.
This appliance is wired as follows:
• Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L
• Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N
• Earth wire (coloured green/yellow) to terminal marked E
This appliance must be earthed.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.

• Men dient er toezicht op te houden dat kinderen niet met het

Prouctbeschrijving
CL205 - 6 liter Roestvrij stalen stoompan
Inleiding
Neem de tijd en lees deze handleiding aandachtig door. Een correct gebruik en onderhoud van deze
machine waarborgt de beste prestatie van uw Buffalo product.
Verpakkingsinhoud
De verpakking bevat het volgende:
• Stoompan en deksel
• Stoompanmandje
• Handleiding
BUFFALO is trots op de haar productkwaliteit en dienstverlening en controleer de inhoud van de
verpakkingen, tijdens de verpakkingsfase, op functionaliteit en schade. Mocht u product door transport
zijn beschadigd, neem dan onmiddellijk contact op met uw BUFFALO dealer.
Bediening
1. Verwijder het toestel uit de
verpakking. Zorg ervoor dat alle
beschermende plastieken folie en
plastieken bedekkingen grondig
van alle oppervlakken verwijderd
worden.
Opmerking: Reinig, vóór het
eerste gebruik, de binnenkant
van het toestel en alle
onderdelen in warm zeepwater,
dan grondig spoelen.
2. Zorg ervoor dat de
Temperatuurregelknop op ‘UIT’
(OFF) staat.

3. Verwijder het deksel en vul het toestel tot minstens de helft van diens capaciteit. Overschrijd de Max.
vullijn niet.
4. Plaats het te stomen voedsel in de verwijderbare roestvrijstalen mand.
5. Plaats het deksel terug.

6. Maak verbinding met het elektriciteitsnet
en zet de temperatuurregelknop aan. Het
startindicatorlicht licht op.
7. Zet de Temperatuurregelknop op de
maximale stand om het water te koken.
Het startindicatorlicht licht op en het toestel
verwarmt het water.
8. Wanneer geen voedsel gestoomd wordt,
kan de temperatuurregelknop verlaagd
worden om het water warm te houden en de
verwarmingstijden te verminderen.
WAARSCHUWING: Wanneer
de Temperatuurregelknop
op het maximum ingesteld
is, zal het toestel het water
constant verwarmen tot
de Temperatuurregelknop
Uitgeschakeld wordt of de
temperatuur verlaagd wordt.
Thermische uit-schakelaar resetten
Dit apparaat is voorzien van een thermische
veiligheidsfunctie. Wanneer de temperatuur de
veiligheidsniveaus van het apparaat overschrijdt,
wordt de stroomtoevoer automatisch uitgeschakeld.
De Veiligheidszekeringschakelaar wordt
automatisch gereset. Om het toestel te resetten:
1. Ontkoppelen van elektriciteitsnet, toestel
leegmaken en laten afkoelen.
2. Het toestel werd nu gereset en kan zoals
normaal gebruikt worden.
Reiniging, zorg &
onderhoud
• Alvorens het apparaat te reinigen dient
men altijd de stroomvoorziening uit te
schakelen.
• Use soapy water and a damp cloth to clean the
exterior and interior of the appliance, and the
steamer basket.
• Na reiniging goed drogen.
Ontkalken
Op plaatsen met hard water kan er na langdurig
gebruik kalkafzetting in het apparaat voorkomen.
Het apparaat ontkalken:
1. Schenk een oplossing van ontkalkingsmiddel
en water in het apparaat.
2. Borstel de binnenkant voorzichtig met een
zachtharige borstel.
3. Discard the solution collected in the appliance.
4. Vul het apparaat met schoon water en
zet deze aan om het systeem te spoelen.
Spoel het systeem grondig met water om
eventuele resten van het ontkalkingsmiddel te
verwijderen.
5. Het apparaat is nu gebruiksklaar.
Opmerking: gebruik een geschikt
ontkalkingsmiddel en volg altijd de
gebruiksaanwijzing op de verpakking.
BUFFALO raadt u aan om dit apparaat om
de 3 maanden te ontkalken en in gebieden
met hard water met kortere intervallen.

Elektrische bedrading
Men dient de steker op een geschikt stopcontact aan te sluiten.
De bedrading van dit apparaat is als volgt:
• Stroomkabel (bruin) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met L
• Neutraalkabel (blauw) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met N

Conseils de sécurité
• Placez l’appareil sur une surface plane, stable.
• L’installation et les éventuelles réparations doivent être
confiées à un dépanneur / technicien qualifié. Ne retirez aucun
composant ou cache de ce produit.

conformer aux :
- lois sur l’hygiène et la sécurité au travail ;
- codes de bonnes pratiques BS EN ;
- précautions contre le risque d’incendie ;
- réglementations sur les branchements électriques IEE ;
- règlements sur la construction.
• Assurez-vous que l’emplacement de l’appareil peut supporter
son poids lorsqu’il est plein.
• NE PAS immerger l’appareil.
• NE PAS laisser la machine fonctionner sans surveillance.
• Veillez à ce que le niveau d’eau se situe entre les repères
« MIN » et « MAX ».

Introduction

l’utilisation appropriés de cet appareil vous permettront de tirer le meilleur de votre produit Buffalo.
Contenu de l’emballage
Les éléments suivants vous sont fournis de série :

Mode d’emploi
Buffalo attache une grande importance à la qualité et au service et veille à fournir des produits en parfait
état opérationnel, parfaitement intacts au moment de l’emballage.
Nous vous prions de contacter votre revendeur Buffalo immédiatement si vous constatez un dommage
quelconque survenu pendant le transport du produit.
Utilisation
1. Retirer l’appareil de l’emballage.
S’assurer que le film de protection
plastique et les revêtements en
plastique soient correctement
retirés de toutes les surfaces.
Remarque : Avant la
première utilisation,
nettoyer l’intérieur
de l’appareil et
tous les éléments
à l’eau savonneuse
chaude, ensuite rincer
correctement.

2. S’assurer que le bouton de contrôle de la
température est réglé sur ‘OFF’.
3. Retirer le couvercle et remplir l’appareil à
au moins la moitié de sa capacité. Evitez de
dépasser la ligne de remplissage Max.
4. Placer les aliments à cuire à la vapeur dans le
panier amovible en acier inoxydable.
5. Remettre le couvercle en place.
6. Connecter l’alimentation secteur et tourner le
bouton de contrôle de température. Le témoin
d’alimentation s’allume.
7. Régler le bouton de contrôle de la température
au maximum pour faire bouillir l’eau. Le voyant
d’alimentation s’allume et l’appareil chauffe
l’eau.
8. Lorsque les aliments ne sont pas cuits à la
vapeur, le bouton de contrôle de la température
peut être abaissé pour garder l’eau chaude et
réduire le temps de chauffage.
AVERTISSEMENT : Si le bouton
de contrôle de la température
est réglé au maximum, l’appareil
chauffe constamment l’eau
jusqu’à ce que le bouton de
contrôle de la température
soit éteint ou jusqu’à ce que la
température soit réduite.
Réinitialisation du disjoncteur
thermique
Cet appareil est doté d’un dispositif de sécurité
sous forme de disjoncteur thermique. Si la
température dépasse un niveau sûr, l’appareil
s’arrête automatiquement.
Le dispositif de sécurité réintialise
automatiquement. Pour réinitialiser l’appareil :
1. Déconnecter de l’alimentation principale, vider
l’appareil et le laisser refroidir.
2. L’appareil est à présent réinitialisé et pourrait
être utilisé comme normal.
Nettoyage, entretien et
maintenance
• Veillez à toujours éteindre et débrancher
l’appareil de la prise secteur avant de le
nettoyer.
• Utiliser de l’eau chaude savonneuse et un tissu
mouillé pour nettoyer l’extérieur et l’intérieur
de l’appareil, ainsi que le panier du cuiseur
vapeur.
• Séchez minutieusement l’appareil après l’avoir
nettoyé.
Détartrage
En cas d’utilisation prolongée dans les régions
où l’eau est très calcaire, des dépôts peuvent
s’accumuler dans l’appareil. Pour le détartrer :
1. Versez dans la bouilloire du détartrant dissous
dans une quantité d’eau.
2. Brossez légèrement l’intérieur à l’aide d’une
brosse à poils doux.
3. Eliminer la solution collectée dans l’appareil.
4. Remplissez la bouilloire d’eau propre et
allumez-la pour nettoyer le système. Rincez
abondamment pour éliminer toute trace de
détartrant.
5. L’appareil est désormais prêt à servir.
Remarque : vous veillerez
à utiliser le détartrant qui
convient et à toujours suivre
les consignes imprimées sur
l’emballage.
Buffalo vous recommande de
détartrer cet appareil tous les
trois mois ou plus fréquemment
dans les régions où l’eau est
très calcaire.

Raccordement électrique

Betrieb
1. Nehmen Sie das Gerät aus der
Verpackung. Achten Sie darauf,
dass alle Schutzfolien und
Kunststoffbeschichtungen gründlich
von allen Oberflächen entfernt
werden.
Hinweis: Vor dem ersten
Gebrauch das Innere des
Gerätes und alle Teile in warmer
Seifenlauge reinigen und
anschließend gründlich abspülen.
2. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der
Temperaturregler auf „AUS“ (OFF)
ist.

3. Nehmen Sie den Deckel ab und füllen Sie das Gerät auf mindestens die Hälfte seines
Fassungsvermögens. Überschreiten Sie aber nicht die Max-Fülllinie.
4. Legen Sie die zu garenden Speisen in den herausnehmbaren Edelstahlkorb.
5. Setzen Sie den Deckel wieder auf.

6. Schließen Sie das Gerät an das Stromnetz an
und schalten Sie den Temperaturregler ein. Die
Betriebsanzeige leuchtet auf.
7. Stellen Sie den Temperaturregler auf Maximum,
um das Wasser zum Kochen zu bringen. Die
Betriebsanzeige leuchtet und das Gerät erhitzt
das Wasser.
8. Wenn keine Speisen gedämpft werden, kann
der Temperaturregler abgesenkt werden,
um das Wasser warm zu halten und die
Aufheizzeiten zu verkürzen.
WARNUNG: Wenn der
Temperaturregler auf das
Maximum eingestellt ist,
erwärmt das Gerät das Wasser
ständig, solange bis der
Temperaturregler ausgeschaltet
oder die Temperatur reduziert
wird.
Ausschalter mit Wärmesensor
Dieses Gerät ist mit einer Überlastungsschutzfunktion
ausgestattet. Sollte die Temperatur über die sicheren
Grenzwerte hinaus ansteigen, wird die Stromzufuhr
automatisch abgeschaltet.
Der Sicherheitsschalter wird automatisch
zurückgesetzt. Um das Gerät zurückzusetzen:
1. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker, entleeren Sie das
Gerät und lassen Sie es abkühlen.
2. Das Gerät ist nun zurückgesetzt und kann wie
gewohnt verwendet werden.
Reinigung, Pflege und
Wartung
• Vor Reinigungsarbeiten stets zunächst das Gerät
ABSCHALTEN und den Netzstecker ziehen.
• Reinigen Sie mit Seifenwasser und einem
feuchten Tuch die Außen- und Innenseite des
Gerätes sowie den Garbehälter.
• Nach dem Reinigen gründlich abtrocknen.
Entkalken
In Gegenden mit harter Wasserqualität kann sich
nach einiger Zeit und häufigem Gebrauch Kalk im
Gerät ablagern. Entkalken des Geräts:
1. Das in Wasser gelöste Entkalkungsmittel in den
Wasserbehälter geben.
2. Den Wasserbehälter innen vorsichtig mit einer
weichen Bürste reinigen.
3. Schütten Sie die im Gerät gesammelte Lösung
aus.
4. Den Gerät mit sauberem Wasser füllen und
wieder einschalten, um das Gerät auszuspülen.
Das Gerät gründlich ausspülen, um
Entkalkerreste zu entfernen.
5. Jetzt ist das Gerät wieder einsatzbereit.
Hinweis: Verwenden Sie ein geeignetes
Entkalkungsmittel und beachten Sie stets
die Gebrauchsanweisung dieses Mittels.
In Gegenden mit harter Wasserqualität
empfiehlt BUFFALO, das Gerät mindestens
alle 3 Monate zu entkalken.

Elektroanschlüsse
Der Stecker muss in eine geeignete Steckdose gesteckt werden.
Das Gerät ist wie folgt verdrahtet:

Suggerimenti per la sicurezza

• Assicurarsi che la base di appoggio sia in grado di sostenere il
peso dell’apparecchio a pieno carico.
• NON immergere l’apparecchio in acqua.
• Sorvegliare SEMPRE l’apparecchio quando è in funzione.
• Assicurarsi che il livello dell’acqua si trovi tra i segni ‘MIN’ e
‘MAX’.
• NON toccare le superfici esterne dell’apparecchio.
Durante l’utilizzo le superfici esterne si surriscaldano.

BUFFALO garantisce una qualità e un servizio impeccabili e assicura che al momento dell’imballaggio tutti
i componenti forniti sono integralmente funzionanti e privi di difetti. Nel caso siano rilevati danni risultanti
dal trasporto del prodotto, rivolgersi immediatamente al rivenditore BUFFALO locale.
Funzionamento
1. Rimuovere il prodotto dalla scatola.
Assicurarsi che il film protettivo
e le coperture di plastica siano
rimosse accuratamente da tutte le
superfici.
Nota: prima di usare il prodotto
per la prima volta, pulire la parte
interna e tutte le altre parti con
acqua calda insaponata, poi
risciacquare accuratamente.
2. Assicurarsi che la manopola di
controllo della temperatura sia
sulla posizione “OFF”.

3. Rimuovere il coperchio e riempire la pentola fino ad almeno metà della sua capacità. Non superare la
linea di massima capacità.
4. Porre il cibo da cucinare nel cesto rimovibile in acciaio inox.
5. Riposizionare il coperchio.

6. Collegare il prodotto al sistema di fornitura
elettrica e portare la manopola della
temperatura sulla posizione “ON”. La spia di
alimentazione s’illumina.
7. Portare la manopola della temperatura sulla
posizione massima per bollire l’acqua. La
spia di alimentazione s’illumina e la pentola
incomincia a riscaldare l’acqua.
8. Quando non si sta cucinando il cibo, la
manopola della temperatura può essere
abbassata per mantenere l’acqua calda e
ridurre i tempi di riscaldamento.
ATTENZIONE: se la manopola della
temperatura si trova sulla posizione
massima, la pentola riscalderà l’acqua in
modo continuo finché la manopola stessa
non è portata di nuovo nella posizione “OFF”
o la temperatura è ridotta.
Blocco termico
Questo apparecchio è dotato di una funzione di
blocco termico di sicurezza. Se la temperatura
supera i livelli di sicurezza, l’apparecchio interrompe
automaticamente l’alimentazione.
L’interruttore differenziale si resetta
automaticamente. Per resettare il prodotto:
1. Scollegarlo dall’alimentazione, svuotarlo e farlo
raffreddare.
2. Il prodotto è adesso resettato e può essere
usato normalmente.
Pulizia e manutenzione
• Prima di eseguire la pulizia, spegnere e
scollegare l’apparecchio dall’alimentazione.
• Usare acqua insaponata e un panno inumidito
per pulire la parte esteriore e interiore e il
cesto.
• Asciugare completamente dopo la pulizia.
Rimozione del calcare
In presenza di acqua dura e dopo un utilizzo
prolungato può accumularsi calcare all’interno
dell’apparecchio. Per rimuovere il calcare
dall’apparecchio:
1. Versare una soluzione di acqua e prodotto
anticalcare nell’apparecchio.
2. Spazzolare delicatamente l’interno utilizzando
una spazzola a setole morbide.
3. Burrate via la soluzione contenuta nella
pentola.
4. Riempire l’apparecchio con acqua pulita e
riaccenderlo per lavare il sistema. Lavare
completamente il sistema per rimuovere
eventuali residui di prodotto anticalcare.
5. L’apparecchio è ora pronto per l’uso.
Nota: utilizzare un prodotto anticalcare
adeguato e seguire sempre le istruzioni
indicate sul contenitore.
BUFFALO consiglia di rimuovere le
incrostazioni di calcare ogni 3 mesi o
più frequentemente se l’apparecchio è
utilizzato in aree con acqua dura.
