Should you find any damage as a result of freight, please contact your Buffalo dealer immediately.
Installation
Be sure that the Salamander is free of all protective plastics and residues before operation.
The Salamander must be installed by a qualified person.
Locate the Salamander on a firm level surface.
Important Notice:
Please remove the 2 tranist fixing bolts from on the rear panel of the unit before operation.
The Salamander Grill should be located in a well ventilated area.
Do not move the Grill when in use.
Do not locate the Salamander Grill in areas that are wet, dusty, steamy or close to inflammable or
explosive articles.
Do not heat or warm any food if the salamander is not installed with oil tray or grilling rack.
Do not put any objects on the top of the Salamander Grill.
Do not use excessive force when moving the Grill Hood.
Note: the Salamander Grill can be wall mounted. Please refer to the instructions on the wall mounting
option and details of the wall bracket.

Power connection
The equipment must be grounded.
The Salamander Grill is supplied with a 3 pin, BS1363 plug and lead, with a 13 amp fuse as standard.
The equipment must be connected to a suitable mains socket, wired as follows:
Live wire - coloured brown with terminal marked L
Neutral wire - coloured blue with terminal marked N
Earth wire - coloured yellow-green with terminal marked E or
Operation
Plug in and turn the control dial clockwise. The green indicator light indicates power to the salamander.
The Salamander has 2 heat zones which are individually controlled.
Turn the control dials clockwise to the desired temperature. The red indicator light will indicate the
elements are heating and will switch off when the temperature is met. The green indicator light will
remain on as long as power is connected and the unit is on. The red indicator light will cycle on and off
heating according to the set temperature. As temperature drops the energy regulator will control and
adjust to maintain the set temperature.
For continuous heat, the control dial can be turned to the MAX setting. The heating element will remain
on full power unless set to a lower setting. This will provide continuous full heat as opposed to a set
temperature.
The Grill Hood is counter balanced and allows you to adjust the cooking height
Pull the handle up or down, adjusting the distance between food surface and heating source.
Raise the Grill Hood to the top position to take out the grilled food.
Turn control knob counterclockwise to OFF position after finishing operation
Cleaning, Care and Maintenance
Switch off and disconnect the Salamander from the power supply before cleaning, maintaining or moving.
Allow the Salamander to cool down before cleaning.
Please use soft and wet cloth and non corrosive cleaning agent to clean the equipment.
Do not use water jet/hose to clean the product.
The racks and oil tray are removable for cleaning

Verpakking

In deze verpakking wordt het volgende geleverd:

In het geval dat u schade vaststelt als het gevolg van het transport dient u onmiddellijk contact op te nemen
met uw Buffalo verdeler.
Installatie
Haal de Salamander uit de verpakking; zorg dat alle beschermende plastic en resten zorgvuldig verwijderd zijn van
het oppervlak.
Lees de volgende instructies alvorens de installatie te starten:
De Salamander moet geïnstalleerd worden door een gekwalificeerde persoon.
Plaats de Salamander op een stevig vlak oppervlak.
Belangrijke opmerking:
Verwijder vóór gebruik de 2 transit bevestigingsbouten op het achterpaneel van het toestel.
De Salamander Grill moet in een goed geventileerde ruimte geplaatst worden.
U mag de Grill niet verplaatsen tijdens het gebruik.
U mag de Salamander Grill niet in gebieden plaatsen die nat, stoffigof aangedampt zijn, of in de buurt van
ontvlambare of explosieve voorwerpen.
U mag geen voedsel verhitten of opwarmen wanneer de salamander niet geïnstalleerd werd met een
olieschaal of grillrek.
Plaats geen voorwerpen bovenop de Salamander Grill.
Oefen geen overmatige kracht uit wanneer u de Grillkap verplaatst.
N.B.: de Salamander Grill kan aan de wand gemonteerd worden. Raadpleeg de instructies over de optie voor
de wandmontage en details over de wandsteun.

Stroomaansluiting
Het toestel moet geaard zijn.
De Salamander Grill wordt standaard geleverd met een 3 pins, BS1363-stekker en kabel, met een 13 amp
zekering. Het toestel moet aangesloten worden op een geschikt stopcontact, dat als volgt bekabeld is:
Stroomkabel –bruin gekleurd met terminal aangeduid met L
Neutrale kabel –blauw gekleurd met terminal aangeduid met N
Aarding –geel-groen gekleurd met terminal aangeduid met E of
Bediening
Controleer voor gebruik of de stroominstallatie correct is. Controleer of de stroomtoevoer volgens de
productvereiste gebeurt.
Sluit aan op het stopcontact en draai de controleschijf rechtsom. Het groene indicatorlampje wijst op
stroom naar de salamander.
De Salamander heeft 2 warmtezones die individueel bediend worden.
Draai de regelschijven rechtsom tot de gewenste temperatuur. Het rode indicatorlampje geeft aan dat de
elementen opwarmen en schakelt uit wanneer de temperatuur bereikt werd. Het groene indicatorlampje
blijft branden zolang de stroom is aangesloten en het toestel aan staat. Het rode indicatorlampje
schakelt de verwarming in en uit, al naargelang de ingestelde temperatuur. Wanneer de temperatuur
zakt, zal de energieregelaar zich aanpassen om de ingestelde temperatuur te behouden.
Voor een continue verwarming kan de regelschijf op de instelling MAX geschakeld worden. Het
verwarmingselement blijft op volle kracht staan, tenzij het op een lagere instelling gezet wordt. Dit zorgt
voor een constante hitte, in tegenstelling tot een ingestelde temperatuur.
De Grillkap heeft een tegengewicht en u kunt er de kookhoogte mee afstellen tot uw gewenste behoefte.
Trek de hendel verticaal omhoog of omlaag, waarbij u de afstand tussen het oppervlak van het voedsel
en de warmtebron aanpast.
Breng de Grillkap in de bovenste stand om het gegrilde voedsel uit te halen.
Draai de regelknop linksom in de stand OFF na het voltooien van de handeling, trek vervolgens de
stekker uit om de stroom te onderbreken.
Zorg dat het voedsel niet bevroren is voordat u het opwarmt, vermijd het verhitten of opwarmen van het
voedsel met teveel water
Reiniging, zorg & onderhoud
Schakel de Salamander uit en koppel deze los van de stroomtoevoer, alvorens deze te reinigen,
onderhouden of verplaatsen.
Tijdens het reinigen:
Zorg dat de Salamander kan afkoelen of dat zijn temperatuur afkoelt tot kamertemperatuur alvorens
deze te reinigen.
Gebruik alstublieft een zachte en natte doek en niet-corrosief reinigingsmiddel om het toestel te
reinigen.
Gebruik geen waterspuit/slang om het product te reinigen.
De rekken en olieschaal kunnen verwijderd worden om deze te reinigen

Instructie voor montagesteun (afzonderlijk geleverd)
Zorg dat de gebruikte ondergrond en toebehoren geschikt zijn om het gewicht van de steunen (met
lading) te dragen.
Monteer de steun zoals op de afbeelding.
Roep indien nodig professionele hulp in om zeker te stellen dat de steunen veilig gemonteerd worden.

Emballage

Cet emballage contient les éléments suivants :

Installation
Retirer le grill Salamandre de son emballage. Veiller à bien éliminer tout plastique de protection et résidu de la
surface.
Lire les instructions suivantes avant de procéder à l'installation :
Le grill Salamandre doit être installé par une personne qualifiée.
Positionner le grill Salamandre sur une surface solide et de niveau.
Important :
Retirer les deux boulons de fixation de transport du panneau arrière de l'appareil avant toute mise en
marche.
Le grill Salamandre doit être placé dans un endroit bien ventilé.
Ne pas déplacer le grill en cours d'utilisation.
Ne pas placer le grill Salamandre dans des endroits humides, poussiéreux, embués ou à proximité
d'éléments inflammables ou explosifs.
Ne pas faire chauffer d'aliments lorsque le bac récepteur de graisses ou la grille ne sont pas installés
dans le grill Salamandre.
Ne pas poser d'objets sur le dessus du grill Salamandre.
Ne pas exercer une force excessive pour déplacer la partie supérieure du grill.
Remarque : le grill Salamandre peut être fixé au mur. Se reporter aux instructions pour la fixation murale et
les informations sur le support mural.

Alimentation électrique
L'appareil doit être mis à la terre.
L'appareil doit être branché à une prise secteur adéquate, câblée comme suit :
Fil de phase - marron avec terminal L
Fil neutre - bleu avec terminal N
Fil de terre - jaune/vert avec terminal E ou
Fonctionnement
Vérifier que l'installation électrique est correcte avant toute mise en marche. Vérifier que l'alimentation
est conforme aux spécifications de l'appareil.
Brancher l'appareil et tourner le bouton de contrôle dans le sens horaire. Le voyant vert indique que le
grill Salamandre est sous tension.
Le grill Salamandre dispose de deux zones de chauffe contrôlées individuellement.
Tourner le bouton de contrôle dans le sens horaire sur la température désirée. Le voyant rouge indique
que les éléments sont en train de chauffer et s'éteint lorsque la température programmée est atteinte.
Le voyant vert reste allumé tant que l'appareil est sous tension et allumé. Le voyant rouge s'allume et
s'éteint, en fonction de la température programmée. Lorsque la température baisse, le régulateur
d'énergie contrôle et règle l'appareil afin de maintenir la température programmée.
Pour une chaleur continue, il est possible de positionner le bouton de contrôle sur la température MAX.
L'élément de chauffe reste allumé tant qu'une température inférieure n'est pas sélectionnée. Cette
option fournit une chaleur maximale continue, contrairement à une température programmée.
La partie supérieure du grill est équipée d'un contrepoids qui permet de régler la hauteur de cuisson en
fonction des besoins.
Tirer la poignée vers le haut ou vers le bas à la verticale pour régler la distance entre la surface des
aliments et la source de chaleur.
Relever la partie supérieure du grill à sa position maximale pour sortir les aliments grillés.
Tourner le bouton de contrôle dans le sens anti-horaire jusqu'à la position OFF après utilisation, puis
débrancher l'appareil pour le mettre hors tension.
Veiller à ne pas chauffer des aliments congelés, à éviter de chauffer ou réchauffer des aliments
contenant trop d'eau.
Nettoyage, entretien et maintenance
Éteindre et débrancher le grill Salamandre de la source d'alimentation avant tout nettoyage, maintenance
ou déplacement.
Lors du nettoyage :
Laisser refroidir le grill Salamandre à température ambiante avant de le nettoyer.
Nettoyer l'appareil avec un chiffon doux et humide et un produit nettoyant non corrosif.
Ne pas utiliser un jet d'eau / tuyau pour nettoyer l'appareil.
Les grilles et le bac récepteur sont amovibles pour faciliter leur nettoyage.
