4. Once Axiom is cool
to the touch; loosen 4
screws that secure the
front access panel.
DISCONNECTING - Previous Brewer
3. Let Axiom sit and cool.
5. Remove front panel. 7. Unfasten the Black
Hose Clamp at the end
of the Drain Hose.
11. Reattach Hose.
Fasten the Black Hose
Clamp at the end of the
drain hose.
8. Detach Drain Hose.
Place the end of the
Drain Hose in a
container that has a
minimum capacity of
200 oz (5.9 L).
9. Open the White Clamp
to drain water from tank.
10. When tank is empty,
close the White Clamp,
and replace the plug.
12. Replace the front panel
and tighten screws.
1. Flip the ON/OFF toggle
switch to the OFF
position (down), on the
back of the Axiom to
turn off.
2. Unplug cord.
NOTE:Ensure there is
enough coffee to serve
through setup and brew
time of new equipment.
NOTE:Allow equipment
to cool before removing.

7. Connect brewer to water
source with supplied
water line.
NOTE:Located on lower,
back, left of unit.
TIP:Use a two person
lift, and a cart, to move
machine to installation
location.
1. Remove Axiom brewer
from box and packaging.
3. Remove Brew Basket
from Parts box.
4. Locate all manuals
and literature.
Save in manager's office
for future reference.
5. The brewer is:
18.9" tall
17.7 ” de ep
8.0” wide.
6. Connect brewer to
power source (120/208,
3000W, 15 Amps).
NOTE:Allow at least
4” behind the brewer for
power cord clearance
and air flow.
10. Allow brewer to reach
brew temperature.
Approximately 15
minutes.
9. Allow brewer to fill
with water.
Approximately 10
minutes.
INITIAL SETUP - Axiom Brewer
8. Push power switch up to
ON position.
NOTE:Located on upper,
back, right of unit.
11. Place a small container
under the faucet and open
the faucet handle.
Release it when you hear
the tank refilling.
2. Remove Parts box.
Remove all packaging
materials.

16. When brewing is
complete, let Carafe
set for 60 seconds.
Remove Carafe and
empty water.
17. Remove Brew Basket,
and discard Kay Filter
Pouch Cleaner.
Rinse Brew Basket
thoroughly.

brewer.
18. Replace Brew Basket
and Carafe.
Axiom is Ready to

12. Remove Brew Basket
and Place 1 Kay®Filter
Pouch Cleaner in brew
basket.
15. Press Brew Button to
brew one Carafe of hot
water (with no filter or
coffee) to flush out the
water lines.
14. Press the Enable Brew
button.

3. Ensure Sprayhead and
Brew Basket are in place
and put a measuring
container under the
Brew Basket.
1. Enter Level 1
Programming by
pressing the Right
hidden button until
BrewWIZARD screen
appears.
Prior to Programming the machine or Brewing any coffee a Flow Rate Calibration must be done. Flow rates will vary from
machine, location to location, even from one end of a building to another.
CALIBRATING FLOW RATE
NOTE: This test is used
to capture water from
the Sprayhead during a
pre-determined 60 second
dispense valve cycle.

volume of water.
NOTE: It is very important to
be accurate when performing
this test because it will control
the pot level during normal
operation.

3. Pour correct amount of
coffee into filter.
1 Bag = 64 oz.
Slide the loaded Brew
Basket into the rails
until it stops.
1. Use clean, empty
Brew Basket.

8. When coffee stops
dripping from Brew
Basket tip, carefully
remove the Brew Basket
to discard the used
grounds.
2. Insert paper filter
01338-000 into
Brew Basket.
5. Press the Enable Brew
button.
