Introduction
The TARA PS 7600 manual digital scales determines accurately the weight of
suitcases, packets, shopped goods and many other things. To make sure that
you use the scales appropriately and to maintain for a long life, please read
the instructions for use first.
Remarks
To obtain an accurate result, hold the scales firmly•
by the grip when weighing.
Do not expose the scales to strong shocks or strong pressure.•
Use no chemical detergents to clean the scales.•
A soft cloth is suitable for cleaning.

Thank you for choosing ProfiScale quality measuring technology by BURG-
WÄCHTER. BURG-WÄCHTER offers a warranty of 2 years’ duration from the
date of purchase. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper
use, overloading the device or incorrect storage as well as normal wear and
defects that only have an insignificant effect on the value or usability of
the device. The warranty shall be immediately invalidated if unauthorized
persons work on the device. In the event that a warranty claim arises, please
hand over the entire device incl. packaging, description and batteries along
with the sales receipt to your dealer.

Operation
Power up
Hold the scales vertically and press ON/ OFF.•
At first, the display indicates ----, this indication changes to 0.00 after•
2seconds and the tool is ready for use.
The tool switches off automatically after 30seconds.•
When you wish to switch the scales off manually, press ON/ OFF.•
Select unit of measure
Press UNIT to select between g, kg, lb and oz.•
Weighing
Hang the measured item (e.g. suitcase) on the hook.•
When the weight becomes steady, a signal sounds and the measurement•
result is displayed.
Stepwise weighing
If you wish to determine the weight of an item indirectly,•
e.g. in a container, place this container on the hook first.
Press the TARE button in order to set the display back to 0.00.•
Only then put the measured item into the container in order to•
determine its net weight.
In case the total weight is too high, “ERR” is indicated in the display.•
Take the items from the hook immediately in order to avoid damage.
Battery replacement
This symbol is indicated when the battery power is insufficient.
Open the battery compartment at the back and replace the batteries.
Disposal of the tool
Dear Customer,
please help to reduce waste. Should you decide to dispose of the device,
please bear in mind that many of the components it contains are made
from valuable material that can be recycled.
Please do not throw the device into the residual waste bin. Contact
the responsible office in your area and ask about collection points for
electrical waste.
