2.Betrieb ohne Bedien-
einheit Typ 1077-2
Nach Einschalten der Betriebs-
spannung wird die eingestellte
Funktion mit den zugehörigen
Zeiten ausgeführt. Die eingebaut
LED’ssignalisierendieanliegende
Betriebsspannungunddeneinge-
schalteten Ausgang (ton). Eine
Änderung von Funktionen und
ZeitenistnurmitderBedieneinheit
1077-2möglich.
3.Betrieb mit Bedien-
einheit Typ 1077-2
Die Bedieneinheit kann je um
180° gedreht anstelle des
Gerätedeckels auf die Zeit-
steuerung 1078-2 aufgesteckt
werden. Beim Aufstecken
wird ein reset ausgelöst,
d.h. der einprogrammierte
Funktionsablauf wird erneut
gestartet.
2. Operation without
controlunit type 1077-2
After energizing, the unit cy-
cles to the functions and times
set. The integrated LED
displays indicate the status of
the supply voltage and output
(ton). The function and cycle
times can only be changed by
using the control unit 1077-2.
3. Operation with control
unittype 1077-2
The controller can be fitted to
the timer unit 1078-2 and be
rotated by 180° when the cover
isremoved. Before connecting
programming unit, plug out
power supply to prevent from
memory errors of the timer
1078-2.

3. Fonctionnement avec

Le module de programmation

tation de la temporisation
1078-2 doit être coupée pour
éviter la détérioration du pro-
gramme.

The control unit memorizes the
last set data, which allows to
set several timer units.
The control unit is inserted into
the timer unit.

function 3.3.
By proceeding via the key
through all setting steps, all
values of the control unit are
transferred to the timer unit by
the end of the programming
sequence.
Individual values can be
changed during this procedure.
3.1 Description of Displays

nées entrées. Ceci permet le
réglage en série de plusieurs
temporisations. Le module de
programmation est fixé sur une
temporisation.Passer à la fonc-
tionprogrammationdésirée(voir
chap. 3.3). En appuyant sur la
touche à chacune des pha-
ses de réglages toutes les va-
leursdumodule de programma-
tion sont transférées à la tem-
porisation à la fin du mode pro-
grammation. Des valeurs peu-
vent être individuellement mo-
difiées pendant la procédure.
3.1 Description de l’affichage
Zwei Betriebszustände sind
möglich:
- Anzeigemodus
- Programmiermodus
Die Bedieneinheit speichert die
zuletzt eingestellten Daten.
Damit ist die Einstellung einer
Serie von Zeitsteuerungen
durchführbar. Die Bedieneinheit
wird auf eine Zeitsteuerung
aufgesetzt. Wechsel in den
Programmiermodusvornehmen
(s. Kap. 3.3). Durch Weiter-
schalten mit der Taste
durch alle Einstellphasen
werden nach Beendigung des
Programmiermodus alle Werte
der Bedien-einheit auf die
Zeitsteuerung übertragen.
Einzelne Werte können
zwischendurch individuell
angepasstwerden.
3.1Beschreibung des Displays

Pour quitter le mode program-
mation, il faut appuyer sur la
touche jusqu’à ce que le si-
gne disparaisse de l’affichage.
Toutes les valeurs réglées sont
alors entrées en mémoire et le
cycle commence.
3.2 Mode affichage (voir ins-
tructions page 10)
Après la mise sous tension ou
le branchement du module de
programmation (avec une tem-
porisation1078-2 soustension)
touslessegments de l’affichage
digitalsont activés pour environ
0,5 s. (affichage test). L’état en
cours de la temporisation est
ensuite affiché.
Une pression sur la touche
permet d’accéder aux paramè-
tresréglés.Ledoublepointdans
l’affichage du temps ne bouge
pas. La première valeur de
temps et la fonction correspon-
dante sont affichées. Une autre
pression de la touche donne
successivement les valeurs de
temps ton ou toff qui sont dési-
gnées par les positions de
switch au dessus de l’affichage
du temps.
NOTE: Pendant le mode affi-
chagela temporisation continue
defonctionner comme ellea été
programmée. La touche ne
sert pas. Quand le cycle d’in-
terrogation est terminé l’état en
cours est affiché:
- le temps restant ton ou toff dans
l’unitédetempscorrespondante.
- ton ou toff sont indiquées par
l’indicateur d’état de sortie.
La fonction prédéfinie et le ré-
glagede départ sont également
affichés.
In order to leave the
programming mode, the key
has to be pressed until the
sign is extinguished in the
display. Thus, all adjusted va-
lues are taken into the memory
and the reset is released.
3.2 Display Mode (see abriged
instructions p.10)
After energizing or fitting the
control unit (with timer 1078-2
under voltage) all segments of
the LC. display are activated
for 0,5 s. (display test).
The present status of the timer
is the indicated.
Operating the key chan-
ges the display to show the set
time. (The colon in the time
display stays on).
The first time value and
function are shown.
Each further operation of the
key shows the time value ton or
toff which in turn are indicated
by the switch positions above
the time display.
NOTE: When in display mode,
the timer continues to function
as programmed.
The key has no function.
When the interrogation cycle
has been completed the actual
status is displayed:
- the residual time ton or toff in
the relevant time unit.
- ton ortoff are shown by the out-
put status indicator.
The set function and the reset
are also shown.
Um den Programmierung-
modus zu verlassen, muss
die Taste sooft gedrückt
werden, bis das Zeichen in
der Anzeige erlischt. Damit
werden auch alle eingestellten
werteindenSpeicherübernommen
und der Reset ausgelöst.
3.2 Anzeigemodus (s.a.
KurzanleitungS.10)
NachdemEinschaltenbzw.nach
Aufstecken der Bedieneinheit
(bei anliegender Spannung an
der Zeitsteuerung 1078-2) sind
für ca. 0,5s alle Segmente der
LC-Anzeige aktiviert (Anzeige-
test). Anschliessend wird der
aktuelle Zustand der Zeit-
steuerungangezeigt.
Mit Betätigung der Taste wird
zur Anzeige der eingestellten
Parameter gewechselt. Der
Doppelpunkt in der Zeitanzeige
steht still. Der erste Zeitwert
und die zugehörige Funktions-
dartstellung wird angezeigt.
Beim jedem Tastendruck
werdennacheinanderdieZeiten
ton bzw. toff dargestellt. Ob es
sich um die ton oder toff - Zeit
handelt, zeigen die Schalters-
tellungen über der Zeitanzeige.
HINWEIS:
Während des Anzeige-
modus schaltet die Zeit-
steuerung im programmierten
Rhythmus denAusgang weiter.
Der Taste ist hier ohne
Funktion. Nach beendetem
Abfragezyklus wird wieder der
aktuelle Zustand angezeigt:
- die Restzeit ton bzw. toff in der
entsprechendenZeiteinheit
- ton bzw. toff sind ersichtlich am
Zustand des ausgangs.
Ebenfallswerdendievorgegebene

3.3.4 Valeurs de temps ton

La valeur de temps est divisée
en deux plages de 2 1/2 digits

(valeur max. 199:99).
La touche change les plages
de temps de la fonction pré sé-
lectionnée.
Une pression de la touche
entraine:
a) un passage de l’unité de
temps la plus grande à la plus
petite. Le temps peut être
changé par la touche , la po-
sition correspondante clignote
dans l’affichage de la fonction
(voir chap. 3.3.1).
b) Un changement des temps
à régler et une mémorisation
simultanée des temps réglés
dans le module de program-
mation (voir chap. 3.3.1 fonc-
tion).
3.3.4 Time value ton or toff
The time value is divided into
two ranges 2 1/2 digits before
«:» and 2 digits after (max.
representation 199:99).
The key alters the time
ranges of the preset
function.
Pressing the key results
in:
a) a switch from the larger
to the smaller time unit. The
time can be altered by
means of the key, thus
relevant position in the
function display is flashing
(see 3.3.1).
b) an alteration of the times
to be set and a
simultaneous memorizing of
the adjusted time by the
control unit (see 3.3.1
function).
3.3.4 Zeitwert ton oder toff
Der Zeitwert liedert sich in zwei
Bereiche 2 1/2 Stellen vor dem
«:» und 2 Stellen danach (max.
Darstellung 199:99).
Die Taste verändert den
Zeitwert nach Betätigung
entsprechend der vorge-
gebenen Funktion. Das
Drücken der Taste bewirkt
a) einen Wechsel von der
grösseren zur kleineren
Zeiteinheit. Die Zeit kann mit
derTaste verändert werden,
dabei blinkt die entsprechende
Position in der Funktions-
anzeige (siehe 3.3.1).
b) einen Wechsel der
einzustellenden Schaltzeiten
und eine gleichzeitige
Übernahme der eingestellten
Zeit in den Speicher der
Bedieneinheit (S. 3.3.1
Funktion)

3.3.5 Programmiermodus -
ENDE
Mit Betätigung der Taste
im letzten Einstellschritt wird
der interne Speicher der
Zeitsteuerung 1078-2 mit dem
eingestellten Werten über-
schrieben. Die werte werden
auch bei Ausfall der
Spannungversorgungfesthalten.
Der Programmier-modus wird
verlassen.
In der Anzeige erlischt das
Zeichen .
4. Hinweise zum Betrieb
Die Bedieneinheit kann von der
Zeitsteuerung 1078-2, z.B. nach
dem Programmieren, abgezogen
werden - ohne den eingestellten
Funktionsablaufzubeeinflussen.
DieprogrammierteWertebleiben
in der Zeitsteuerung 1078-2
gespeichert.
DerDeckelderZeitsteuerungmuss
wieder aufgesetzt und
festgeschraubtwerden.
Die Schutzart IP65 ist nur bei
geschlossener Zeitsteuerung
gewährleistet.
Wirddie Bedieneinheit auf
dieZeitsteuerungaufgesetzt, so
wird ein Reset ausgelöst, d.h.
derFunktionsablauf wird erneut
gestartet.

3.3.5Programming mode
-END
By operating the key
after the final time
adjustement the set values
are transferred to the internal
memory of the timer unit
1078-2. In the event voltage
failure the memory is
retained. When the
programming mode is left,
the sign dissappears
from the display.
4. Operating Notes
The control unit can be
removed from the timer unit
1078-2, e.g. after pro-
gramming without affecting
the programs entred in the
memory.
The programmed values
remain memorized in the
timer unit 1078-2.
Refit and fasten timer cover.
Note that the IP65 protection
can only be realized if the unit
is closed.
When the control unit is
fitted to the timer unit a reset
is triggered and the cycle is
restarted.

3.3.5Modeprogrammation-FIN
Une pression sur la touche
dans la dernière phase de ré-
glage permet de transférer les
valeursrégléesdanslamémoire
interne de la temporisation
1078-2.
En cas de panne de courant, la
mémoireest conservée.Quand
on quitte le mode programma-
tion, le signe disparait de
l’affichage.
4. Indications d’utilisation
Le module de programmation
peut être enlevé de la tempori-
sation 1078-2, par ex. après la
programmation sans affecter le
programme de fonctionnement
entré en mémoire. Les valeurs
programmées restent stockées
dans la temporisation 1078-2.
Le couvercle de la temporisa-
tion doit être replacé et vissé.
Onnepeut garantir laportection
IP65quepourunetemporisation
fermée.
Quandonplaceunmodule
deprogrammationsur la tempo-
risation, un reset est activé,
c’est à dire que le cycle de pro-
grammation repart à zéro.
