nLassen Sie sich vom Betreiber in die sichere
Bedienung des Pflegebettes einweisen.
nÜberzeugen Sie sich vor jeder Benutzung
vom ordnungsgemäßen und fehlerfreien Zu-
stand des Pflegebettes.
nStellen Sie sicher, dass keine Hindernisse
wie Möbel oder achschrägen die Verstellvor-
gänge behindern.
nBeachten Sie bei Einsatz externer elektri-
scher Komponenten, wie z. B. Patientenliftern,
Leseleuchten oder Kompressoren für Lage-
rungssysteme, dass sich deren Netzkabel nicht
in beweglichen Teilen des Pflegebettes verfan-
gen oder beschädigt werden können.
nSchließen Sie das Bett direkt an eine Steck-
dose an. Verlängerungskabel und/oder Mehr-
fachsteckdosen sollten nicht verwendet werden.
nStellen Sie sicher, dass beim Anbringen wei-
terer Geräte (z. B. Kompressoren von Lage-
rungssystemen usw.) eine sichere Befestigung
und Funktion aller Geräte gegeben ist.
nLegen Sie keine Mehrfachsteckdosen unter
das Pflegebett. Es besteht Brandgefahr durch
eindringende Flüssigkeit.
nAchten Sie auf eine sichere Verlegung aller
beweglichen Anschlusskabel, Schläuche usw.
nFahren Sie die Liegeflächenhöhe bei Bedarf,
jedoch mindestens 1 x täglich, in die obere oder
untere Endlage. Hierdurch ermöglichen Sie
einen automatischen Ausgleich der beiden un-
abhängigen Hubantriebe und somit eine waage-
rechte Liegefläche.

nLet the operator instruct you in the safe use
of the nursing bed.
nBefore each use make sure that the nursing
bed is in proper and faultless condition.
nTake care that no obstacles, such as furniture
or slanted ceilings interfere with the adjustment
functions.
nPay attention that when using additional elec-
trical components, such as patient lifts, reading
lights or compressors for positioning systems
that their electrical cords do not get entangled or
damaged by the moving parts of the bed.
nConnect the bed directly to an electrical out-
let. o not use extension cords and/or multiple
outlet extension cords.
nMake sure that when attaching other applian-
ces (e.g. compressors for positioning systems)
that a safe mounting and function is guaranteed.
no not put multiple electrical outlets under
the nursing bed. Leaking liquids can be a fire
hazard.
nPay special attention to securely locating all
wiring, cables, tubes, etc.
nAdjust the mattress base height whenever
necessary, but at least once a day, to its upper
or lowest height. This automatically equalises
the two independent adjustment motors and
results in a level horizontal mattress base.

Bei Unklarheiten wenden Sie sich an die Her-
steller der Zusatzgeräte oder an BURMEIER.
nNehmen Sie das Pflegebett außer Betrieb,
wenn der Verdacht einer Beschädigung oder
Fehlfunktion besteht:
4Ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker aus der
Steckdose;
4Kennzeichnen Sie das Pflegebett deutlich als
" EFEKT" ;
4Melden Sie dieses umgehend dem zuständi-
gen Betreiber.

nTake the nursing bed out of operation if
damage or a malfunction is suspected:
4Immediately unplug the electrical plug from
the wall outlet;
4Clearly mark the nursing bed as
" EFECTIVE";
4Promptly notify the appropriate operator.

nVerlegen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass es

nZiehen Sie vor jedem Transport unbedingt
den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und
legen Sie das Netzkabel in den Netzkabel-
halter.
nKontrollieren Sie das Netzkabel regelmä-
ßig auf mechanische Beschädigung hin (Ab-
schürfungen, blanke rähte, Knickstellen,
ruckstellen usw.) und zwar:
