Transmitting Message |Transmettre un signal
Press and hold PTT key and speak into the microphone. The transmitting icon
shows on the LCD screen to indicate transmission status. Do not touch the antenna
during transmission.

Receiving a call |Recevoir un appel
Release PTT or CALLkey and wait for a signal. The receiving icon appears on the
LCD screen to indicate radio is now in receiving status. You can hear the ring tone or
the voice of your partner.
Relâchez la touche PTT ou CALL et attendez au signal. L´afcheur vous indique l´icône
de réception. Vous pouvez entendre le son d´appel ou la voix de l´autre utilisateur.

activated »VOX« appears on the display.

réponse: 01 = faible, 02 = moyen, 03 = fort, OF = désactivé. Conrmez votre choix en

Auto Channel Scan |Balayage des canaux
Press MENU key (3x) to enter the scan setting menu.Activate channel scan-
ning by pressing POWER key. LCD screen will display scan icon and numbers of
successively changing channels. As soon as a signal is detected the channel scanning
will stop. Then the subcodes will be scanned automatically until a signal is received.
Conrm by pressing the POWER key. Scanning function can be stopped by pressing
any of the following keys: POWER, MENU, CALL, PTT.
Activer: Appuyez 3x sur la touche MENU. Commencez la recherche avec la touche
marche/arrêt. L´afcheur vous indique »SCAN« et le balayage des tous les 8 canaux
est effectué lorsqu´un signal actif est trouvé. La recherche s´arrête et continue automa-
tiquement pour détecter un signal actif CTCSS (l´un des 38 numéraux).Conrmez les
signaux trouvés avec la touche marche/arrêt ou terminez la recherche automatique en
appuyant sur les touches marche/arrêt, MENU, CALL ou PTT.

tion is activated. Press MENU key (4x) to enter the monitor menu. Press UP or DOWN
key to select (M on) or close (M of) the function. Press POWER key to activate the
monitoring function. Now only the MENU key can close the monitoring function auto-
matically.Ifotherkeysarepressed(PTT,CALL,UP/DOWN)statusremainsunchanged.
Cette fonction permet de détecter les signaux faibles du canal actuel. Appuyez 4x sur
la touche MENU. Grâce aux touches èches haut ou bas, sélectionnez et activez la
fonction (M on) avec la touche marche/arrêt. Maintenant seulement la touche MENU
peut terminer la fonction.
Key Lock |Touche Verrouillage
Press and hold MENU key for 3 seconds to lock the key. The LCD screen will
display the key lock icon. Now only the PTT and CALL keys can be used. The other
keys (MENU, UP/DOWN, POWER) are blocked to avoid inadvertent change of set-
tings.Repeat theabove operationtounlock.The keylock icondisappears onthe screen.

Key Beep |Tonalité des touches
Activate/deactivate the key beep according to your own preference. Press
MENU key (6x) to enter the KB setting. Press UP or DOWN key to set the key beep
to be ON or OF. Press POWER key to conrm the setting. Remark: The default setting
of key beep is on.
Lorsque vous appuyez sur une touche, l´appareil émet un »Bip«. Pour activer/désactiver
cette fonction appuyez 6x sur la touche MENU. Grâce aux touches èches haut ou bas,

Roger Beep |Roger Beep
When ending the talk the other user can hear the roger beep tone if activated.
Press MENU key (7x) to enter the RB setting. Press UPor DOWN key to activate (on)
or deactivate (of) the roger beep function. Press POWER key to conrm.
Remarks: The default setting of roger beep function is off.As long as activated »ROG«
appears on the display.
Si vous avez lâché la touche PTT, l´appareil envoie un »Bip« pour signaliser que vous
avez terminé votre message. Pour activer/désactiver cette fonction appuyez 7x sur la

sea, from mountain top to mountain top) and radio communication at night improve

Vériez que les radios sont sur le même canal et sous-canal. Vériez que vous n´appuyez
pas par erreur sur la touche PTT. Le fonctionnement dans des espaces clos ou à l´intérieur
d´un vehicule peut interférer avec la communication. Changez d´endroit. Assurez-vous
que le volume est assez fort pour que vous entendiez. Enlevez ou remettez les piles.

Limited talk range |La portée est limitée
Steel/concrete structures between each other, heavy foliage will decrease talk range.
Check for clear line of sight to improve transmission. Wearing radio close to body such
as in a pocket or on a belt will decrease range, change location of radio.
La portée dépend de l´environnement. Vériez que la ligne est claire pour améliorer la
transmission. Portant la radio près du corps, dans la poche ou à la ceinture risque de
diminuer la portée, changez votre radio de place.
Interferences |Interférences

Les radios sont trop proches l´une de l´autre. Elles doivent être au moins à 2 mètres
l´une de l´autre, éloignez-vous. Ou les radios son trop éloignées. Des obstacles gênent
la transmission.
