CHARGING THE FLASHLIGHT
Your Bushnell RUBICON™ Rechargeable Flashlight operates on an internal lithium ion battery, which
should be charged prior to rst use, and whenever the charge becomes depleted after use.
To charge the battery:
1. Flip open the rubber switch cap at the end of the ashlight by pulling up the small tab with the
arrow (not the USB symbol, which is on the hinge for the cap) (Fig. 1).
2. Insert the micro USB end of the supplied cable into the micro USB port on the ashlight (Fig. 2).
3. Insert the cable’s standard USB end into either a computer’s USB port, or a cell phone charger
or similar AC charging device that provides a standard USB connection. If you are using a
computer, you may get an “insucient power” or “device draws excessive power” type of
message (depending on your operating system) if you plug the ashlight into the USB port
on a keyboard or other peripheral device, unpowered USB hub, etc. If so, try connecting the
ashlight to a primary USB port on the computer itself (these may be on the back of a desktop
computer). The time required to charge the ashlight’s battery will vary depending on the
charging source you use as well as the discharge state of the battery.
4. An LED ring on the back of the ashlight will glow red while the ashlight is charging. When
the ring changes to green, the ashlight is fully charged and may be disconnected from the
USB power source. The LED charge ring will also indicate the battery condition during normal
operation (green=charged, red=need to charge).
5. Store the cable for future use and close the ashlight’s switch cap back in place.
OPERATING THE FLASHLIGHT
Once charged, simply press the textured button (Fig. 3). in the
middle of the rubber switch cap at the bottom end of the Bushnell
RUBICON™ Rechargeable Flashlight to activate the light. Press again
to switch the light o. Model 10R250/T250R has a 250 lumen output;
model 10R500/T500R is slightly larger, but brighter at 500 lumens.
AUTO DIMMING FEATURE (Model 10R500/T500R only)
The 500 lumen model of the RUBICON Rechargeable Flashlight provides an Auto Dimming feature
that utilizes a sensor on the front of the ashlight to adjust its brightness based on ambient light
levels (Fig. 4). This optimizes the ashlight’s beam for the location where it is used, and can help
reduce battery drain and extend the time between recharges.
Using the Auto Dimming switch:
With the switch in the “OFF” position, the beam will be at constant full brightness. If the switch is
moved to the “AUTO DIMMING”position (Fig. 5), the beam will automatically dim in brightness as
ambient light levels increase. The darker the room, the brighter the ashlight will be.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
1. Operating time for your RUBICON Flashlight depends on continuous or intermittent use. Intermittent operation extends the run
time of the rechargeable power source.
2. The LED is a lifetime light source. It will never need to be replaced.
3. It is normal for the ashlight’s aluminum body to get very warm during continuous use.

CHARGEMENT DE LA LAMPE TORCHE
Votre lampe torche rechargeable RUBICON™ de Bushnell dispose d’une batterie lithium-ion intégrée
interne qui doit être rechargée avant la première utilisation et à chaque fois qu’elle est déchargée.
Pour charger la batterie :
1. Retirez le couvercle en caoutchouc de l’interrupteur situé au bout de la lampe torche en
tirant sur la petite languette avec une èche (et non avec le symbole USB sur la charnière du
couvercle) (Fig. 1).
2. Introduisez l’extrémité micro USB du câble fourni dans le port micro USB de la lampe torche
(Fig. 2).
3. Introduisez l’extrémité standard USB du câble fourni dans le port USB d’un ordinateur, d’un
chargeur de téléphone portable ou d’un appareil de charge CA similaire qui permet une
connexion USB. Lors de l’utilisation d’un ordinateur, le système peut acher un message du
type « alimentation insusante » ou « l’appareil utilise une alimentation excessive » (selon
votre système d’exploitation) si vous branchez la lampe torche dans le port USB d’un clavier
ou d’un autre périphérique, d’un concentrateur USB non alimenté, etc. Si c’est le cas, tentez de
raccorder la lampe torche à un port USB principal de l’ordinateur (qui doit se trouver à l’arrière
d’un ordinateur de bureau). Le temps de chargement de la batterie de la lampe torche dépend
de la source de chargement que vous utilisez ainsi que de l’état de décharge de la batterie.
4. L’anneau lumineux à l’arrière de la lampe torche s’allume en rouge pendant la durée du
chargement. L’anneau devient vert lorsque le chargement est terminé. Vous pouvez alors
déconnecter la lampe torche de la source d’alimentation USB. Le témoin de charge indiquera
également l’état de la batterie en mode de fonctionnement normal (vert = batterie chargée,
rouge = batterie faible).
5. Rangez le câble en vue d’une utilisation future et refermez le couvercle de l’interrupteur de la
lampe torche.
FONCTIONNEMENT DE LA LAMPE TORCHE
Pour allumer la lampe torche une fois qu’elle est rechargée, appuyez
tout simplement sur le bouton granulé (Fig. 3). au milieu du couvercle en
caoutchouc de l’interrupteur à l’extrémité inférieure de la lampe torche
rechargeable RUBICON™ de Bushnell. Appuyez à nouveau pour l’éteindre.
Le modèle 10R250/T250R a un ux lumineux de 250 lumens ; le modèle
10R500/T500R est légèrement plus grand mais sa luminosité est plus élevée
avec 500 lumens.
FONCTION D’AJUSTEMENT AUTOMATIQUE (Modèles 10R500/T500R uniquement)
La lampe torche rechargeable RUBICON 500 lumens est doté d’une fonction de gradation
automatique qui utilise un capteur à l’avant de la lampe torche qui permet d’ajuster sa luminosité en
fonction des niveaux de lumière ambiante (Fig. 4). Cette fonction permet d’optimiser le faisceau de
la lampe torche en fonction de l’endroit où elle est utilisée. Elle vous permet également de réduire la
consommation de la batterie et de prolonger l’utilisation entre les recharges.
Utilisation de l’interrupteur de d’ajustement automatique :
Si l’interrupteur est en position « OFF », l’intensité du faisceau se maintiendra à un niveau constant.
Si l’interrupteur est en position « AUTO DIMMING » (Fig. 5), l’intensité du faisceau va baisser au fur
et à mesure que les niveaux de lumière ambiante augmentent. Plus la pièce est sombre et plus
l’intensité de la lampe torche est élevée.
INFORMATIONS IMPORTANTES
1. Le temps de fonctionnement de votre lampe torche RUBICON dépend de son utilisation en continu ou par
intermittence. Un fonctionnement par intermittence permet de rallonger son autonomie.
2. La LED est une source de lumière qui fonctionnera pendant toute la durée de vie de la lampe torche. Il ne sera jamais
nécessaire de la remplacer.
3. Il est normal que le corps en aluminium de la lampe torche devienne très chaud lors d’un usage continu.

CARGA DE LA LINTERNA
Su linterna recargable Bushnell RUBICON™ funciona con una batería de iones de litio que se debe
cargar antes del primer uso y siempre que la carga se agote después del uso.
Para cargar la batería:
1. Abra la tapa interruptor de goma del extremo de la linterna levantando la pequeña pestaña con
la echa (no el símbolo de USB, que se encuentra en la bisagra de la tapa) (Fig. 1).
2. Inserte el conector micro USB del cable suministrado en el puerto micro USB de la linterna (Fig.
2).
3. Inserte el conector USB estándar del cable en el puerto USB de un ordenador, de un cargador
de teléfono de móvil o de un dispositivo de carga de CA similar que proporcione una conexión
USB estándar. Si utiliza un ordenador, es posible que vea un mensaje del tipo “alimentación
insuciente” o “el dispositivo consume demasiada energía” (según el sistema operativo) si
conecta la linterna en el puerto USB en un teclado u otro dispositivo periférico, un concentrador
USB sin alimentación, etc. De ser así, intente conectar la linterna a un puerto USB principal del
propio ordenador (en el caso de un ordenador de sobremesa, posiblemente se encuentre en la
parte posterior). El tiempo necesario para cargar la batería de la linterna variará según la fuente
de carga que utilice, además del estado de descarga de la batería.
4. Un anillo LED que hay en la parte posterior de la linterna se iluminará en rojo mientras la linterna
se esté cargando. Cuando el anillo se ilumine en verde, signica que la linterna está totalmente
cargada y que se puede desconectar de la fuente de alimentación USB. El indicador de carga
también mostrará la condición de la batería durante el funcionamiento normal (verde = cargado,
rojo = necesita carga).
5. Guarde el cable para su uso futuro y cierre la tapa interruptor de la linterna.
USO DE LA LINTERNA
Una vez nalizada la carga, solo tiene que pulsar el botón con relieve (Fig.
3) que hay en medio de la tapa interruptor en el extremo inferior de la
linterna recargable Bushnell RUBICON™ para encender la luz.Vuelva a pulsar
el botón para apagar la luz. El modelo 10R250/T250R ofrece una salida de
250 lúmenes; el modelo 10R500/T500R es un poco más grande, pero más
luminoso, ya que ofrece 500 lúmenes.
FUNCIÓN DE ATENUACIÓN AUTOMÁTICA (Solo modelo 10R500/T500R)
El modelo de 500 lúmenes de la linterna recargable RUBICON dispone de una función de atenuación
automática que utiliza un sensor ubicado en la parte frontal de la linterna para ajustar su luminosidad
de acuerdo con los niveles de luz ambiental (Fig. 4). Esta función optimiza el haz de luz de la linterna
para ajustarlo al lugar de uso y contribuye a reducir el consumo de la batería y a alargar el tiempo entre
recargas.
Uso del interruptor de atenuación automática:
Con el interruptor en la posición“OFF”, el haz de luz funcionará a plena luminosidad constantemente.
Si el interruptor se mueve a la posición de “AUTO DIMMING”, (Fig. 5), la luminosidad del haz de luz
se atenuará automáticamente a medida que los niveles de luz ambiental aumenten. Cuanto más
oscura sea la sala, más luminosidad ofrecerá la linterna.
INFORMACIÓN IMPORTANTE
1. El tiempo de funcionamiento de la linterna RUBICON depende de si el uso es continuo o intermitente. El uso
intermitente alarga el tiempo de funcionamiento de la fuente de alimentación recargable.
2. El LED es una fuente de luz que dura toda la vida. Nunca tendrá que sustituirla.
3. Es normal que la carcasa de aluminio de la linterna se caliente mucho durante el uso continuado.

Ne jamais laisser le dispositif se recharger sans surveillance. Lors du rechargement de batteries en lithium-polymère ou en lithium-ion,
il est nécessaire de toujours surveiller le processus de rechargement an de réagir à tout problème potentiel. Recharger le dispositif
uniquement sur une surface sèche et dure.
Si l’appareil gone, fume ou devient chaud, cesser immédiatement le processus de rechargement. Déconnecter la batterie et la placer
en lieu sûr, à l’extérieur de tout bâtiment ou véhicule et hors de portée de matériaux combustibles, pendant environ 30 minutes.
Cesser ensuite d’utiliser le produit.

Never charge unit unattended. When charging Lithium polymer or Lithium ion batteries you should always remain in constant
observation to monitor the charging process and react to potential problems that may occur. Charge unit only on a dry, hard surface.
If the device balloons, swells up, smokes, or become hot, discontinue the charging process immediately. Disconnect the battery and
observe it in a safe area, outside of any building or vehicle and away from combustible material, for approx. 30 minutes. Discontinue

Your Bushnell® product is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for one year after the date of
purchase. In the event of a defect under this warranty, we will, at our option, repair or replace the product, provided

AUFLADEN DER TASCHENLAMPE
Die wiederauadbare Bushnell RUBICON™-Taschenlampe funktioniert mit einer eingebauten
Lithium-Ionen-Batterie, die vor dem ersten Gebrauch und nach jeder gebrauchsbedingten Entladung
aufgeladen werden muss.
Auaden der Batterie:
1. Die Gummikappe am Ende der Taschenlampe önen, indem Sie die kleinen Lasche mit dem
Pfeil (nicht mit dem USB-Symbol am Scharnier der Kappe verwechseln) nach oben ziehen (Abb.
1).
2. Den Micro-USB-Stecker desmitgeliefertenKabelsindenMicro-USB-AnschlussderTaschenlampe
stecken (Abb. 2).
3. DenStandard-USB-SteckerdesKabelsentwedermit demUSB-Anschlusseines Computers,einem
Handy-Ladegerät oder einem anderen AC-Ladegerät mit Standard-USB-Anschluss verbinden.
Bei Verwendung eines Computers erhalten Sie (je nach Betriebssystem) möglicherweise eine
Meldung über eine nicht ausreichende Stromversorgung oder eine zu hohe Stromaufnahme
des angeschlossenen Geräts, wenn Sie die Taschenlampe mit dem USB-Anschluss einer
Tastatur oder eines anderen Peripheriegeräts (z. B. USB-Hub ohne eigene Stromversorgung)
verbinden. Versuchen Sie in diesem Fall, die Taschenlampe mit einem primären USB-Anschluss
des Computers (z. B. auf der Rückseite eines Desktop-Computers) zu verbinden. Die zum
Auaden der Taschenlampenbatterie benötigte Zeit variiert je nach verwendeter Ladequelle
und Entladezustand der Batterie.
4. Der LED-Ring auf der Rückseite der Taschenlampe leuchtet während des Ladevorgangs
rot. Wenn die Farbe des Rings zu grün wechselt, ist die Taschenlampe vollständig geladen
und kann von der USB-Stromquelle getrennt werden. Auf der Ladeanzeige wird zudem der
Batteriezustand im Normalbetrieb angezeigt (grün=aufgeladen, rot=Auaden erforderlich).
5. Verstauen Sie das Kabel für den zukünftigen Gebrauch, und schließen Sie die Gummikappe der
Taschenlampe.
BEDIENUNG DER TASCHENLAMPE
Nach dem Auaden einfach auf die Noppentaste (Abb. 3) in der Mitte der
Gummikappe am unteren Ende der wiederauadbaren Bushnell RUBICON™-
Taschenlampe drücken, um das Licht einzuschalten. Zum Ausschalten Taste
erneut drücken. Das Modell 10R250/T250R erzeugt einen Lichtstrom von
250 Lumen. Das Modell 10R500/T500R ist etwas größer, aber mit 500 Lumen
auch heller.
AUTOMATISCHE DIMMFUNKTION (nur Modell 10R500/T500R)
Das 500-Lumen-Modell der wiederauadbaren RUBICON-Taschenlampe verfügt über eine
automatische Dimmfunktion, bei der die Helligkeit mithilfe eines Sensors am vorderen Ende der
Taschenlampe an die Beleuchtung der Umgebung angepasst wird (Abb. 4). Dadurch wird der Strahl
der Taschenlampe für den jeweiligen Verwendungsort optimiert und trägt so zur Senkung des
Stromverbrauchs bei, sodass die Zeit zwischen zwei Ladevorgängen verlängert werden kann.
Verwendung des Schalters für die automatische Dimmfunktion:
Wenn sich der Schalter in der Stellung„OFF“ (Aus) bendet, leuchtet die Taschenlampe permanent
mit maximaler Helligkeit. Wenn der Schalter in die Stellung „AUTO DIMMING“ (automatische
Dimmfunktion) (Abb. 5) gebracht wird, nimmt die Helligkeit des Lichtstrahls bei zunehmender
Helligkeit der Umgebung automatisch ab. Je dunkler der Raum, desto heller die Taschenlampe.
WICHTIGE INFORMATION

Durch den Betrieb mit Unterbrechungen wird die Laufzeit der wiederauadbaren Stromquelle verlängert.
2. Die LED ist eine lebenslange Lichtquelle. Sie muss niemals ausgetauscht werden.
3. Es ist normal, dass der Aluminiumkörper derTaschenlampe im Dauerbetrieb sehr warm wird.

CARICA DELLA TORCIA ELETTRICA
La torcia elettrica ricaricabile Bushnell RUBICON™ funziona con una batteria interna agli ioni di
litio, che deve essere caricata prima del primo utilizzo e tutte le volte che la carica si esaurisce dopo
l’utilizzo.
Per caricare la batteria:
1. Aprire il tappo dell’interruttore in gomma all’estremità della torcia elettrica, sollevando la
linguetta con la freccia (non il simbolo USB, che si trova sulla cerniera del tappo) (Fig. 1).
2. Inserire l’estremità per micro USB del cavo in dotazione nella porta per micro USB sulla torcia
elettrica (Fig. 2).
3. Inserire l’estremità per USB standard del cavo nella porta USB di un computer oppure nel
caricatore di un telefono cellulare o di un dispositivo di carica CA simile, che ore connessione
USB standard. Se si utilizza un computer, potrebbe comparire un messaggio “insucient
power” (alimentazione insuciente) oppure “device draws excessive power” (il dispositivo
riceve alimentazione eccessiva) se si collega la torcia elettrica alla porta USB su una tastiera o
un’altra unità periferica, un hub USB non alimentato ecc. In questo caso provare a collegare la
torcia elettrica a una porta USB principale del computer (potrebbero essere ubicate sul retro
del computer desktop). Il tempo necessario per caricare la batteria della torcia elettrica varia in
base alla fonte di ricarica che si utilizza e anche a quanto è scarica la batteria.
4. Quando la torcia elettrica è in carica, un anello LED sul retro della torcia elettrica si illumina
di rosso. Quando l’anello diventa verde signica che la torcia è completamente carica e può
essere scollegata dalla fonte di alimentazione USB. L’indicatore di carica visualizza inoltre la
condizione della batteria durante il funzionamento normale (verde=carica, rosso=necessaria
carica).
5. Conservare il cavo per l’utilizzo futuro e richiudere il tappo dell’interruttore della torcia elettrica.
FUNZIONAMENTO DELLA TORCIA ELETTRICA
Dopo averla caricata, premere semplicemente il pulsante con supercie
tramata (Fig. 3) al centro del tappo dell’interruttore in gomma all’estremità
inferiore della torcia elettrica ricaricabile Bushnell RUBICON™ per attivare
la luce. Premere di nuovo per spegnere la luce. Il modello 10R250/
T250R presenta un’emissione di 250 lumen, il modello 10R500/T500R
è leggermente più grande, ma anche più luminoso con emissione a 500
lumen.
RIDUZIONE AUTOMATICA DELL’EMISSIONE LUMINOSA (solo con il modello 10R500/T500R)
Questo modello a 500 lumen della torcia elettrica ricaricabile RUBICON ore una caratteristica di
riduzione automatica dell’emissione luminosa che impiega un sensore sulla parte anteriore della
torcia per regolare la luminosità in base ai livelli di luce ambiente (Fig. 4). Ciò ottimizza il fascio della
torcia elettrica in base al luogo in cui è utilizzata e può contribuire a ridurre il consumo di batteria e a
prolungare i tempi tra una ricarica e l’altra.
Utilizzo dell’interruttore per la riduzione automatica dell’emissione luminosa:
Con l’interruttore impostato su “OFF”, il fascio ha una costante luminosità piena. Se si sposta
l’interruttore nella posizione “AUTO DIMMING” (Fig. 5), il fascio riduce automaticamente la
luminosità in relazione all’aumento dei livelli di luce ambiente. Quanto più scuro è l’ambiente,
tanto più luminosa sarà la torcia elettrica.
INFORMAZIONI IMPORTANTI
1. La durata del funzionamento della torcia elettrica RUBICON varia a seconda dell’utilizzo continuo o intermittente. Il
funzionamento intermittente prolunga la durata della fonte di alimentazione ricaricabile.
2. Il LED è una fonte luminosa a lunga durata. Non dovrà mai essere sostituito.
3. Durante l’utilizzo continuo è normale che il corpo di alluminio della torcia diventi molto caldo.

ten, Sachschäden oder verkürzter Lebensdauer des Produkts, sollten die hier aufgeführten Vorsichtsmaßnahmen beachtet werden.
• Halten Sie das Gerät von Hitzequellen oder Umgebungen mit hohenTemperaturen fern, wie der direkten Sonneneinstrahlung
in einem nicht beaufsichtigten Fahrzeug.
• Zerlegen oder modizieren Sie das Gerät nicht. Der Akku kann nicht durch den Benutzer ausgetauscht werden.
• Das Gerät oder der Akku darf weder gewaltsam geönet noch verbrannt werden.
• Tauchen Sie das Gerät nicht insWasser, und setzen Sie den Akku keiner Feuchtigkeit aus.
• Laden Sie das Gerät nur innerhalb des folgendenTemperaturbereichs: 0 °C bis 45 °C (32 °F - 113 °F).
• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur innerhalb des folgendenTemperaturbereichs: -20 °C bis 50 °C (- 4 °F - 122 °F).
• Wird das Gerät längere Zeit nicht verwendet, bewahren Sie es nur innerhalb des folgendenTemperaturbereichs auf: -10 °C bis
45 °C (142 °F - 113 °F).
Überwachen Sie stets den Ladevorgang. Beim Laden von Lithium-Polymer- oder Lithium-Ionen-Akkus sollten Sie den Ladevorgang
stets überwachen, um bei eventuell auftretenden Problemen eingreifen zu können. Stellen Sie das Gerät während des Ladens auf eine
trockene, harte Fläche.
Unterbrechen Sie den Ladevorgang sofort, sollte das Gerät während des Ladens aufquellen, rauchen, heiß werden oder sich aufblähen.
Trennen Sie den Akku, und beobachten Sie ihn ca. eine halbe Stunde an einem sicheren Platz außerhalb von Gebäuden oder Fahrzeu-
gen in sicherer Entfernung von brennbaren Materialien. Verwenden Sie das Produkt in einem solchen Fall nicht mehr.

• Non azionare il dispositivo al di fuori dell’intervallo di temperatura indicato di seguito: da -20 a 50 °C (da -4 a 122 °F).
• Non conservare il dispositivo per un periodo prolungato in un ambiente con temperatura non compresa nell’intervallo indicato
di seguito: da -10 a 45 °C (da 14 a 113 °F).
Non caricare mai l’unita lasciandola incustodita. Durante la ricarica di batterie al polimero di litio o agli ioni di litio, restare sempre in
costante osservazione per monitorare la ricarica e intervenire in caso di potenziali problemi. Ricaricare l’unità esclusivamente su una
supercie asciutta e rigida.
Se il dispositivo presenta rigonamenti, emette fumo o diventa rovente interrompere immediatamente la ricarica. Scollegare la bat-
teria e osservarlo in un’area sicura, all’esterno di edici o veicoli e lontano da materiali combustibili, per circa 30 minuti. Interrompere
l’utilizzo del prodotto in tale eventualità.
