commercial use, excessive speed and modifications.
2. Safety Guidelines
General
1. It is extremely important that you read through,
understand and follow all instructions in the Owner’s
Manual. Failure to comply with the safety instructions may
result in injury or death to the user and/or the
passenger(s) of the carrier.
2. Always comply with local safety regulations and local Road
Traffic Act. The safety regulations and/or Road Traffic Act
may restrict the use of the carrier in some way.
3. This carrier is intended for carrying children during
daylight hours and travelling on light traffic roads,
sidewalks and smooth paths. Luggage may be added in the
designated area as long as it doesn’t affect the children’s
comfort or safety.
4. When using the child carrier in conditions of poor
visibility, it is highly recommended to install a safety-
approved light set onto the carrier and for the user to
wear bright and reflective clothing.
5. The passengers and cargo load must not exceed the limits
outlined on the specifications section.
6. The child’s head (with helmet) should be at least 10 cm
(4”) below the carriers top Aluminum frame.
7. Never carry dangerous cargo. This includes fuel, heavy or
sharp items.
8. Always secure the luggage in the carrier. Unsecured
luggage may move thus making the carrier less stable.
9. Only light items are to be placed in the inside pockets or
rear pocket. No cargo or load should be placed in the area
forward of the seat. This will affect the weight
distribution and balance of the carrier.
10.The carrier is intended to be pushed by people or towed
by a bicycle. It must never be towed behind motorized
vehicles or animals.
11.No child should be in the carrier when connecting to the
bicycle, converting the carrier with the different
conversion kits, or when carrying out maintenance or
repair work.
12.Do not use on icy roads or in inclement weather.
13.Collapse and extend the carrier with care, there is a risk
of pinching your hand or fingers while doing so.
14.Before each use, check the tire pressure. The pressure
must be between 30 psi (2.1 bar) and 35 psi (2.5 bar).
15.Before each use, check that the wheels are fully engaged.
16.Before each use, check that the folding lock is fully
engaged.
17.Regularly check all safety-related items for damage. This
includes; wheels, hitch arm, jogger arms, handlebar,
frame and plastic components. If any damage is found,
stop using the carrier immediately until the part has been
replaced by your Authorized Dealer.
18.The recommended maintenance work is essential for the
durability and safe operation of the carrier.
19.Only use original replacement parts. Repairs and
replacements have to be carried out by an Authorized
Dealer.
20.Never make alterations, additions or modifications to the
carrier. This will make the carrier unsafe and render the
warranty invalid.
21.Regularly check for tears in the fabric. Fabric tears
represent a high safety risk. If you find a tear in the
fabric, stop using the carrier immediately and contact
your Authorized Dealer.
22.Installation of any equipment that does not carry the
approval of the manufacturer is not allowed. This includes
car seats, seat supports, luggage racks, etc.
23.The carrier is equipped with self-locking nuts. If, for any
reason, a nut becomes loose, it must not be reused. The
loose nut must be replaced with a new one as it loses its
function after the first use.
24.Transporting the carrier on the roof of a vehicle may
damage the carrier and as such should not be done.
25.Do not use the carrier at temperatures below -20°C /-4°F
and do not store it at these temperatures as the windows
may become damaged and/or break.
Transporting Children
1. Children should never be left unsupervised in the carrier
and should be checked on frequently to make sure they
are safe and comfortable.
2. Children should be clothed appropriately for the weather.
3. If only one child is being carried in a two-seater carrier,
the central sitting position must be used. Otherwise, the
carrier becomes less stable which may lead to an accident
resulting in serious injury or death.
4. Children and cyclist must wear approved helmets (CPSC or
CE approved).
5. Children must be at least 1 year old and be able to sit up
without support in order to be transported in the carrier.
6. The maximum height of children to be transported in the
carrier is 116 cm (45.7“) and their head (with helmet)
should be at least 10 cm (4”) below the carrier’s top
aluminum frame.
7. No part of the child’s body, clothing or toys should come
into contact with the carrier wheels or the rear wheel of
the towing bicycle.
8. Always use the carrier’s cover to protect children from
insects and/or flying debris.
9. Never place items of luggage on the seat next to your
child.
10.Never carry animals together with your children.
11.Make sure the child does not bounce, fidget or lean out of
the carrier.
12.Fasten seatbelts correctly around the child and correctly
adjust to the height of the child. Failure to comply may

4
result in serious injury or death to the child in the event of
an accident.
13.Always have the parking brakes engaged as children get in
and out of the carrier. The parking brakes prevent the
carrier from accidentally rolling away.
Stroller and Jogging Stroller
1. Fasten seatbelts correctly around the child and correctly
adjust to the height of the child (as explained in the
carrier’s Owner’s Manual). Failure to do this may result in
serious injury or death to the child in the event of an

2. Before each use, check that the stroller caster is properly
installed and the handlebar is locked at the proper
adjustment.
3. Do not park on inclined paths.
4. Do not park on a street or any other place that might put
the stroller in harm’s way.
5. Always engage both parking brakes when the stroller is
stationary.
6. Never use the stroller for inline skating.
7. Never load the handlebar with cargo or any other item.
This may cause the stroller to tip backward.
8. Never use the parking brake to slow down the stroller.
9. When pushing the stroller, you must wear the wrist strap
around your wrist.
10.The stroller is intended for walking pace only (less than 8
km/h (5 mph)).
11.When using the carrier in a mode other than stroller, make
sure the stroller caster is completely removed or installed
in the storage position. Failure to do so may result in
injury or death.

wheel are fitted properly and the handlebar is locked at
the proper adjustment.
