! NOTE: The heater on
your fireplace may emit a
slight, harmless odor when
first used. This odor is a
normal condition caused
by initial heating of internal
heater parts and will not
occur again.
CUTOFF SWITCH
! NOTE: There is a safety
temperature cutoff switch
(cutout) inside the heater.
If the heater overheats,
the cutout will shut off the
supply power.
It can be reset by
unplugging the unit and
waiting 5 minutes before
plugging the unit back on.
CAUTION: If you need
to continuously reset the
heater, unplug the unit and
call technical service at

Power ON/OFF
The ON/OFF button turns the fireplace ON and OFF. When the
fireplace is OFF, pressing the ON/OFF button on the remote control
or touching the icon on the front glass will turn on the fireplace.
The fireplace has a built-in memory function. When the fireplace is
turned back on, it starts at the last used settings (except timer). If the
fireplace is disconnected from the main power source, it reverts to
the default settings.
Flame Control
The Flame Control button alters the brightness of the flames and the
emberbed, turns the flames OFF or turns the flames and the ember
bed lights OFF. Press on the Flame Control button repeatedly to
cycle through the available 5 settings: L4-High, L3-Medium, L2-Low,
The fireplace can be operated with the multi–function IR remote
control or from the touchscreen controls located on the top-right
corner of the fireplace.
Press any button on the remote control or touch any icon on the
touchscreen to light up and activate the controls. If no button or icon
is pressed within 10 seconds, the fireplace controls will deactivate.
The remote control has an operating range of up to 6m / 19ft.

will flash 3 times and units will switch from °F to
°C or °C to °F.
! NOTE: This function can only be done through
the touchscreen controls.
Heater Enable & Disable Function:
Press and hold the Heat control icon on the
fireplace touchscreen for 10 seconds. The ember
bed will flash 6 times to indicate that the heater
function is disabled. When the Heat control is
pressed while the heat is disabled, the ember
bed will flash but the heater will not operate.
To enable the Heat control again press and
hold the heat icon for 10 seconds. After the
emberbed flashes for a second time, the heater
function is restored.
! NOTE: This function cannot be set with the
remote control.
Timer Control
The Timer control is used to set and turn off
the sleep timer. Press multiple times the Timer
control to cycle trough the following: 30 min, 1h,
2h, 3h, 4h, 5h, 6h, OFF.
The fireplace will shut off after the selected
time period. Switching the fireplace off with the
Power Button will clear any timer setting.
Level Selection Button
The Level Selection button is used to adjust the
heat setting by cycling.
See relevant section for more details.
L1-Flames OFF Ember bed ON and – Off [both
flames and ember bed are OFF].
! NOTE: When the heater is OFF, the fifth press
turns the fireplace OFF. Restart by pressing the
Flame button or ON/OFF button. With the heat
ON, when flames and ember bed are turned off,
the ember bed will remain lit (low brightness).
Heat ON/OFF
Pressing the Heat control turns the heater ON
and OFF.
! NOTE: When the heat is turned off, first the
heating element is shut down then the fan after
10 seconds.
To change the set temperature, while the heater
is on, press and hold the Heat control on the
touchscreen for 5 seconds. The display will
flash, indicating the unit is in set mode. Press
the Heat control repeatedly to cycle through
the 11 temperature settings: 72°F, 74°F, 76°F,
78°F, 80°F, 82°F, ON, 64°F, 66°F, 68°F, 70°F)
(22°C, 23°C, 24°C, 25°C, 26°C, 27°C, ON, 18°C,
19°C, 20°C, 21°C)
‘ON’ means the heater operates continuously.
After the set temperature is selected, the display
will flash 5 times before exiting from set mode.
The heat set temperature can be changed also
with Level Selection button.
Changing the temperature unit (°F °C):
With Heat ON and display showing the set
temperature, press and hold the Power button
on the touchscreen for 5 seconds. The display
