ATTENZIONE WARNING
Durante i primi 500 Km guidare ad un basso
regime.
Per non compromettere la struttura delle
carenature si raccomanda di evitare qualsiasi
sgocciolamento del liquido freni. Non lavare
assolutamente le parti verniciate con benzina,
petrolio o similari. Usare solo liquidi
biodegradabili (prodotti in uso per le auto); non
usare sostanze lucidanti contenenti abrasivi.
Ad ogni sostituzione del liquido refrigerante
riscaldare il motore per eliminare eventuali
bolle d’aria dal circuito di raffreddamento.
Controllare il livello e, se necessario, effettuare
il rabbocco.
Note
 Le indicazioni di destra e sinistra si riferiscono
ai due lati del motociclo rispetto al senso di
marcia.


 For not jeopardising the fairing structure, do
not let brake fluid drop outside and inside the
fairing.
Do not wash varnished parts with oil, petrol, or
similar. Avoid using abrasives for polishing.
When renewing the coolant, warm engine up
to eliminate air bubbles from the cooling
circuit.
Check the level and top up if necessary.

motorcycle are in the sense of a person facing
forwards.

Durant les premiers 500 Km. conduire au ralenti
Pour ne pas compromettre la structure du
carénage, éviter tout égouttage du liquide des
freins soit à l’intérieur, soit à l’extérieur de la
même. Ne pas laver les parties vernissées avec
essence, pétrole, ou produits semblables.
Utiliser des produits biodégradables pour
voitures.
Ne pas polir avec des pâtes abrasives.
A chaque remplacement du liquide de
refroidissement, faire chauffer le moteur pour
éliminer les bulles d’air du circuit de
refroidissement; contrôler le niveau et remplir si
nécessaire.
Avis
 Les indications “droite” et “gauche” se refèrent
aux deux côtés du motocycle par rapport au
sens de marche.


ATENCION ACHTUNG
Während der ersten 500 km imit einer geringen
Drehzahl fahren.
Um die Verkleidungsstruktur nicht zu
beschädigen, ist das Tropfen der
Bremsfluessigkeit in und auf die Struktur zu
vermeiden. Lackierte Teile nie mit Benzin,
Petroleum und ähnlichem waschen; es sind
nur in organische Substanzen zerlegbare
Fluessigkeiten (für Wagen verwendete
Produkte) zu verwenden; kein
schleifmittelhaltiges Poliermittel verwenden.
Bei jedem Kühlflüssigkeitswechsel ist der
Motor anzuwärmen, um etwaige Luftblasen aus
dem Kühlkreislauf zu beseitigen; den Stand
kontrollieren und, wenn nötig, nachfüllen.

Durante los promeros 500 Km conducir a un
régimen bajo.
Para no comprometer la estructura de los
carenados se recomienda evitar que gotee el
líquido de los frenos tanto dentro como fuera
del mismo. No lave nunca las partes pintadas
con bencina, petróleo o similares. Use solo
líquidos biodegradables (productos especiales
para automóviles); no use substancias para
pulir que contengan abrasivos.
Cada vez que se substituya el líquido
refrigerante se debe calentar el motor para
eliminar las burbujas de aire que pudiera haber
en el circuito de enfriamiento. Se debe
controlar el nivel y, si necesario, completar el
llenado.
Nota
 Las indicaciones de la derecha y la izquierda
hacen referencia a los dos lados de la moto con
respecto al sentido de marcha.

preparate per fornire una guida semplice e
chiara alla manutenzione del motociclo. Per
ottenere da esso le migliori prestazioni, si
raccomanda di seguire attentamente quanto
riportato su questo manuale. In esso sono
racchiuse le istruzioni per effettuare le
necessarie operazioni di manutenzione. Le
informazioni riguardanti le riparazioni o le
manutenzioni più specifiche o di maggiore
entità sono contenute nel Manuale di
Servizio CAGIVA. Interventi di questo genere
richiedono il lavoro di meccanici esperti e
l’uso di apposite attrezzature. Il Vostro
Concessionario CAGIVA ha i ricambi
originali, l’esperienza e tutte le attrezzature
necessarie per renderVi un ottimo servizio.
Ricordare infine che il “Manuale di uso e
manutenzione” ed il “Libretto di garanzia”
devono considerarsi parti integranti del

Your new CAGIVA motorcycle is designed
and manufactured to be the finest in its field.
The instructions in this book have been
prepared to provide a simple and
understandable guide for your motorcycle’s
operation and care.
Follow the instructions carefully for its
maximum performance and your personal
motorcycling pleasure. Your owner’s manual
contains instructions for owner care and
maintenance of a minor nature. Information
covering repair of major units such as engine,
transmission, etc. is provided in the CAGIVA
Service Manual. Work of this kind requires
the attention of a skilled mechanic and the
use of special tools and equipment.
Your CAGIVA dealer has the facilities,
experience and genuine parts necessary to
properly render this valuable service.
This “Owner’s Manual” and the “Warranty
Booklet” are parts and parcels
of the motorcycle, hence, they have to
remain with the motorcycle even when
sold to another user.

Handbuch sind vorbereitet worden, um
Ihnen eine einfache und klare Anleitung für
die Wartung des Motorrades zu geben.
Wenn Sie den Anweisungen dieses
Handbuches genau folgen, werden Sie die
besten Leistungen mit dem Motorrad
erzielen.
In diesem Handbuch finden Sie die
Instruktionen für die notwendigen
Arbeitsgänge für die Wartung. Anweisungen
für Reparaturen und Wartungen besonderer
Natur oder grösserer Ausmasse sind in dem
Reparaturhandbuch CAGIVA enthalten.
Eingriffe dieser Art erfordern den Einsatz
erfahrener Arbeiter sowie entsprechende
Ausrüstungen.Ihr Vertragshändler CAGIVA
hat die Original-Ersatzteile, die Erfahrung
und alle notwendigen Ausrüstungen, um Sie
bestens zu bedienen.
Schließlich erinnern, daß der
"Betriebsanleitung" und die "Garantie

de mantenimiento. Las informaciones que se
refieren a las reparaciones o a
un mantenimiento más específico se
encuentran en el Manual de Servicio
CAGIVA. Intervenciones de esta clase
requieren el trabajo de mecánicos expertos y
el uso de herramientas especiales.
Su Concesionario CAGIVA tiene los
recambios originales, la experiencia y to-
das las herramientas necesarias para
brindarle el mejor servicio.
Recordar por fin que el "Manual de uso y
mantenimiento" y el "Manual de Garantia"
tienen que considerarse partos
integrantes del motociclo y como tales

RACCOMANDATA
Le operazioni di “Manutenzione
Raccomandata” riportate sui tagliandi sono
state preparate dal personale del Servizio
Tecnico della CAGIVA. La gestione di questi
interventi periodici, elencati in ciascun
tagliando, sarà a cura e responsabilità
dell’utente. Portate sempre il Libretto quando
portate il motociclo dal Vostro
Concessionario per le Manutenzioni
periodiche e fate firmare il tagliando di
Servizio ad ogni intervento. Le spese per la
Manutenzione Periodica Raccomandata,
sono puramente simboliche. Verrete
ampiamente ripagati da un lungo uso del
motociclo senza inconvenienti e difetti.
RECOMMENDED MAINTENANCE
PROCEDURES
You will find the approved maintenance
procedures printed on the coupons. They
have been worked out by CAGIVA service
personnel. It is the owner responsibility to
take care of these periodic services. Bring
the coupon booklet when visiting your dealer
to have your motorcycle inspected and
serviced at the specified mileages. Have your
dealer sign the service coupon stubs for
required proof of service during the warranty
period. Dealer charges for recommended
Service Procedures are nominal - you will be
repaid with long, trouble-free service and will
protect your investment in a CAGIVA quality
product.
ENTRETIEN RECOMMANDE
Toute opération d’entretien recommandé
référée sur les coupons a été conçue par le
personnel du service technique CAGIVA.
L’exploitation des interventions périodiques
énumérées dans chaque coupon, devra être
soignée par l’Usager sous sa propre
responsabilité. Votre carnet doit vous suivre
toujours lorsque vous amenez votre moto
chez le Concessionnaire pour l’entretien
périodique. Faites signer le Coupon de
Service à chaque intervention. Les frais
d’entretien périodique recommandé sont
purement nominaux. En suivant ces
recommandations, vous serez récompensés
par une longue durée de votre moto sans
avoir d'ennuis ou défauts.

WARTUNG
Sie finden die entsprechenden
Kundendienstschecks für die von uns
empfohlene Wartung, die vom Personal des
Technischen Kundendienstes der CAGIVA
vorbereitet wurden. Die Sorge für die in
jedem Kundendienstscheck angeführten
Überholungen geht zu Lasten des
Eigentümers und untersteht seiner
Verantwortung. Wenn Sie das Motorrad
Ihrem Vertragshändler zur Überholung
bringen, legen Sie ihm jedesmal das
Kundendienstscheckbuch vor und lassen Sie
den Kundendienstscheck für jeden Eingriff
unterschreiben. Der Kostenaufwand für die
empfohlenen Überholungen Ihres
Motorrades ist rein symbolisch. Sie werden
dadurch mit einem langen Einsatz Ihres
Motorrades belohnt werden, ohne
Unannehmlichkeiten und Schäden an Ihrem
Motorrad zu haben.
OPERACIONES DE MANTENIMIENTO
RECOMENDADO
Las operaciones de “Mantenimiento
Recomendado”, que se encuentran en los
cupones han sido preparadas por el
personal del Servicio Técnico de CAGIVA.
La gestión de estas intervenciones
periódicas, listadas en cada cupón, está a
cargo del usuario. Lleve siempre el folleto
cuando lleve su motocicleta a su
Concesionario para el Mantenimiento
periódico y haga firmar el cupón de Servicio
cada vez que se haga una intervención
Los gastos para el mantenimiento periódico
recomendado son puramente simbólicos.
Ud. va a ser recompensado por un largo uso
de la moto sin inconvenientes ni defectos.

- numero di matricola del
motociclo riportato sulla destra
del cannotto di sterzo;
- numero di matricola del motore
riportato sulla parte superiore
del semicarter sinistro;
- codice del colore riportato sulla
targhetta applicata sulla sinistra
del telaio, in prossimità del
cannotto di sterzo;
- estremi di omologazione
riportati sulla targhetta
applicata sul lato destro del
telaio, in prossimità del
cannotto di sterzo.
Riferite sempre, in sede di
ordinazione dei ricambi, il n° di
matricola del motociclo ed il
codice del colore. Annotate
questo codice anche sul
presente libretto, in modo da
poterlo ricordare in caso di
distacco della targhetta adesiva.

- serial number of the motorcycle
stamped on the steering tube
right side;
- serial number of the engine
stamped on the upper part of
the left half crankcase;
- colour code stamped on the
plate set on frame left near the
steering head;
- homologation data stamped on
the rating plate, det to the right
of the frame near the handlebar.
When ordering for spare parts,
do not forget to state the
motorcycle serial number and
the color code.
Write this code on your owner’s
manual so as to remember it
should the adhesive plate come
off .

HELMET COMPARTMENT(Fig. 2)
Always mindful of the
requirements of the final user
CAGIVA, when designing
“raptor 125”, preset a handy
and safe place under the fuel
reservoir for housing the
helmet.
To guarantee safety and an
easy procedure the saddle is
locked by a key.
To gain access to the helmet
compartment “A”, remove the
saddle as follows:
- turn key (1) clockwise and
unlock the saddle;
- pull lever (2) to the left to
remove the saddle;
- free the reservoir from front
fixing belt (3);
- lift the reservoir and set it on
special rod (4).
ATTENTION
For leaving the fuel pipes
undamaged, do not lift the
reservoir beside the limit of the
rear stop, set in the fulcrum
zone.
Hook (5) has been preset inside
the saddle lock for hanging a
second helmet. Turn key (1)
clockwise to unblock this hook.
Fit the saddle in its seats and
BOITE A CASQUE (Fig. 2)
Lors du projet de “
raptor 125 ”,
CAGIVA a fait état des exigences
de l’utilisateur final et a prévu un
logement confortable et sûr pour
le casque.
La boîte a casque se trouve au
dessous du réservoir carburant,
ou il est possible d’arriver
seulement après avoir Ùté la
selle. Cela permet de joindre le
confort a la sécurité derivant de
l’usage obligatoire de la clé de
déblocage selle.
Pour gagner accés a la boîte a
casque “A”, opérer comme suit:
- tourner la clé (1) en sens horaire
et débloquer la serrure selle;
- tirer le levier (2) a gauche et
ôter la selle;
- ôter la courroie (3) fixant la
partie antérieure du réservoir;
- soulever le réservoir et le placer
sur la tige spéciale (4).
ATTENTION
Pour ne pas endommager les
tuyauteries carburant, il est avis
de ne pas soulever le réservoir
au délà de la limite de l’arrière,
placé dans la zone de
d’entablement.
Un crochet (5), utilisé pour
suspendre un autre casque, est
inséré dans la serrure selle.
Tourner la clé (1) en sens horaire
pour débloquer le crochet.
HELMABLAGERAUM (Bild 2)
Beim Entwurf von “raptor 125” hat
sich CAGIVA eines der
Hauptanforderungen des
Benutzers zu eigen gemacht: ein
bequemes und sicheres Gehäuse
für den Helm zur Verfügung zu
haben.
Der Helmablageraum befindet sich
unter dem Treibstofftank, zu
welchem man nur nach der
Sattelentfernung Zugriff hat. Dies
ermöglicht, die Bequemlichkeit der
Lösung mit der Sicherheit, die sich
aus der zwangsweisen Benutzung
“A” des Schlüssels zur
Entsperrung des Sattels ergibt, zu
verbinden.
Zum Zugriff zum Helmablageraum
ist folgendermaflen vorzugehen:
- den Schlüssel (1) im
Uhrzeigersinn drehen und das
Sattelschlofl entsperren;
- den Hebel (2) nach links ziehen
und den Sattel abnehmen;
- den Tank von den vorderen
Befestigungsriemen (3) befreien;
- den Tank anheben und auf die
dazu vorgesehene Stange (4)
auflegen.
ACHTUNG
Um die Treibstoffleitungen nicht
zu beschädigen wird angeraten,
den Tank nicht über die hintere
Feststellgrenze im Bereich der
Schwenkpunk anzuheben.
Ein Haken (5) für das eventuelle
Aufhängen eines zweiten Helms
ist im Sattelschlofl eingebaut.
VANO PORTACASCO (Fig. 2)
Nel progettare “raptor 125 ,”
CAGIVA ha fatto propria una
delle principali esigenze
dell’utente: disporre di un
comodo e sicuro alloggiamento
per il casco.
Il vano portacasco si trova sotto
il serbatoio carburante e vi si può
accedere solo dopo aver rimosso
la sella. Questo consente di unire
la comodità della soluzione con
la sicurezza che deriva dall’uso
obbligatorio della chiave per
poter sbloccare la sella.
Per accedere al vano portacasco
“A”, operare nel modo seguente:
- ruotare la chiave (1) in senso
orario e sbloccare la serratura
sella;
- tirare la leva (2) verso sinistra e
rimuovere la sella;
- liberare il serbatoio dalla
cinghietta (3) di fissaggio
anteriore;
- sollevare il serbatoio ed
appoggiarlo sull’apposita astina
(4).
ATTENZIONE
Per non danneggiare le tubazioni
carburante, si raccomanda di
NON sollevare il serbatoio oltre il
limite del fermo posteriore posto
nella zona di fulcraggio.
Un gancio (5) per appendere un
eventuale secondo casco é
incorporato nella serratura della
sella e lo si sblocca ruotando la
chiave (1) in senso orario. Per

ESPACIO PORTACASCO (Fig. 2)
Al diseñar “raptor 125” CAGIVA
ha hecho suya una de las
principales exigencias del
utilizador: disponer de un
alojamiento cómodo y seguro
para el casco.
El espacio portacasco se
encuentra debajo del depósito
del carburante y se puede
acceder al mismo sólo después
de sacar el sillÌn. Esto permite
unir las comodidades de la
solución con la seguridad que
deriva del uso obligatorio de la
llave para poder desbloquear el
sillín.
Para acceder al espacio
portacasco “A”, trabajar de la
siguiente manera:
- girar la llave (1) en el sentido
de las agujas del reloj y
desbloquear la cerradura del
sillín;
- tirar de la palanca (2) hacia la
izquierda y sacar el sillín;
- quitar del depósito la correa (3)
de fijación delantera;
- levantar el depósito y apoyarlo
en la varilla especial (4).
CUIDADO
Para no dañar las tuberías del
carburante, recomendamos
que no se levante el deposito
más allá del limite del tope
trasero colocado en la zona de
articulación.
Un gancho (5) que sirve para
colgar otro casco est·
incorporado en la cerradura del
sillín y se desbloquea girando
la llave (1) en el sentido de las

La chiave in duplicato, fornita con il
motociclo consente di intervenire su:
1 - Interruttore di
accensione/bloccasterzo.

NOTA
Conservare in luogo sicuro una
delle due chiavi in modo da poterne
ricavare un duplicato, in caso di
smarrimento di quella utilizzata. A
ricambio, viene fornita la chiave
grezza.

CLES (Fig. 3)
La clef, en double, fournie avec la
moto vous permet d'agir sur:
1 - Démarreur/verrou de direction.
2 - Serrure du robinet réservoir
d'essence.
3 - Serrure du casque et siege.
NOTA
Garder une des deux clés dans
un lieu sûr pour reproduire la clé
si nécessaire.
Une clé brute est fournie
comme pièce de rechange.

Der mit dem Motorrad in doppelter
Ausfertigung mitgelieferte
Schlüssel:
1 - Zündschalter/Lenkschloss
2 - Schloss des
Kraftstoffbehälterspfropfens
3 - Sturzhelmverschluss-
Sattelschluss.
ANMERKUNG
Einen der beiden Schlüssel an
einem sicheren Platz aufbewahren,
damit im Falle des Verlorengehens
des benutzten Schlüssel, ein
Duplikat angefertigt werden kann.
Als Ersatzteil wird der unbearbeitete
Schlüssel geliefert.

La llave, en duplicado, entregada
con la moto permite intervenir en:

encendido/bloquea dirección
2 - cerradura tapón depósito del
carburante
3 - cerradura casco-sillín.
NOTA
Guardar en un lugar seguro una
de las dos llaves a fin de poder
obtener un duplicado en caso
de pérdida de la utilizada. De
recambio se entrega la llave sin
labrar.
