1. Check Box Contents
(i) Call Saint Nuisance Call Blocker
(ii) Cable 1 (short cable): 15cm / RJ11 to BT socket adaptor
(iii) Cable 2 (long cable): 200cm / RJ11 to BT socket cable
Requires 3 x AAA batteries (not included)
2. Installing the Batteries
Step 1
Turn over the call blocker.
Step 2
Remove the battery compartment cover and insert 3 x AAA batteries.
Make sure the positive and negative ends are facing the correct direction.
Step 3
Replace the battery compartment cover.
To check if you have installed the batteries correctly, press the ‘SET’
button on the call blocker. The screen should display a blue background
light.
3. Plug In
Refer to the Quick Setup Guide (with images) or use the instructions below.
without ADSL Micro-filter…
Step 1
Plug the short cable supplied (RJ11 male to BT female) into the socket
marked “PHONE” (left socket) on the call blocker.

Step 2
Unplug your telephone line cable from your telephone wall socket.
Step 3
Plug your telephone line cable into the other end of the short cable.
Step 4
Plug the long cable supplied (RJ11 male to BT male) into your telephone
wall socket.
Step 5
Plug the other end of the long cable into the socket marked “LINE” (right
socket) on the call blocker.
Step 6
Check you can hear a dial tone on your telephone (if you are using a
cordless telephone, press the call button).
Your Call Saint Nuisance Call Blocker is now ready to use.
IMPORTANT:
The Call Saint Nuisance Call Blocker will only work if you subscribe to a
Caller ID service from your phone line provider.
with ADSL Micro-filter…
Step 1
Plug the short cable supplied (RJ11 male to BT female) into the socket
marked “PHONE” (left socket) on the call blocker.
Step 2
Unplug your telephone line cable from your ADSL Microfilter (leave the
filter connected to the telephone socket on the wall).

Step 3
Plug your telephone line cable into the other end of the short cable.
Step 4
Plug the long cable supplied (RJ11 male to BT male) into your ADSL
Microfilter.
Step 5
Plug the other end of the long cable into the socket marked “LINE” (right
socket) on the call blocker.
Step 6
Check you can hear a dial tone on your telephone (if you are using a
cordless telephone, press the call button).
Your Call Saint Nuisance Call Blocker is now ready to use.
IMPORTANT:
The Call Saint Nuisance Call Blocker will only work if you subscribe to a
Caller ID service from your phone line provider.
4. Set Up
Setting the date and time
The date and time will set automatically after you receive your first call but you
will need to change the year manually. The instructions below explain how to
change the year, date and time manually.
Press “SET” on the call blocker. The screen will display “SET 123456”
Pick up your telephone so you can hear a dial tone (if you are using a
cordless telephone, press the call button).
Press “1” on your telephone.

The screen on the call blocker will display “2015” and the last two
digits will be flashing “2015”.
Hang up your telephone.
Use the “DOWN” button on the call blocker to select the correct year
then press “SET”.
The digit to the left of the letter “M” will start flashing.
Use the “DOWN” button on the call blocker to select the correct
month (e.g 1=Jan, 2=Feb, 3=Mar, etc…) then press “SET”.
The digit to the left of the letter “D” will start flashing.
Use the “DOWN” button on the call blocker to select the correct day of
the month and then press “SET”.
Use the “DOWN” button to set the hours of the time (24 hour format)
then press “SET”.
Use the “DOWN” button to set the minutes of the time then press
“SET”.
You have now finished setting the year, date and time. The day of the
week will set automatically.
Adjusting the screen LCD contrast
The default screen LCD contrast level is set at 3.
Press “SET” on the call blocker. The screen will display “SET 123456”
Pick up your telephone so you can hear a dial tone (if you are using a
cordless telephone, press the call button).
Press “2” on your telephone.
The screen on the call blocker will display “LCD 3”.
Hang up your telephone.
Use the “DOWN” button on the call blocker to adjust the screen LCD
contrast level between 1, 2, 3 and 4 then press “SET”.
You have now finished adjusting the screen LCD contrast level.

View list of calls made (last 50 calls made)
Press “OUT” on the call blocker.
Use the “DOWN” button on the call blocker to view the list of calls
made.
The call blocker will display the number dialled.
The duration of the call will appear above the number dialled.
The number displayed in the top right of the screen shows the number
of calls made.
“NO CODE” will appear if no calls have been made.
Delete a number from the list…
Press “DEL” on the call blocker if you want to delete the number from
the list (to remove all numbers from the list press “DEL” on the call
blocker and keep it pressed until the screen displays “NO CODE”).
Press “SET” to exit viewing the list of calls made.
View list of calls received (last 100 calls received)
“NEW” will flash on the call blocker screen after you have received a
call.
Use the “DOWN” button on the call blocker to view the list of calls
received.
“NO CODE” will appear if no calls have been received.
“NEW” will appear above the caller’s telephone number if it is a new
caller.
“REP” will appear above the caller’s telephone number if the caller has
called before.
“- -P- -“ will appear for a caller who withholds their number.

The call blocker will display the caller’s telephone number, the date
and the time they called. The number displayed in the top right of the
screen shows the number of calls received.
Delete a number from the list…
Press “DEL” on the call blocker if you want to delete the number from
the list (to remove all numbers from the list press “DEL” on the call
blocker and keep it pressed until the screen displays “NO CODE”).
Press “SET” to exit viewing the list of calls made.
Block incoming calls (up to 1000 numbers)
One-Touch Call Blocking: block a number from the calls received list…
One-Touch Call Blocking cannot be used to block withheld numbers.
Details on how to block withheld numbers can be found further on in the
User Guide.
Use the “DOWN” button on the call blocker to view the list of calls
received.
The call blocker will display the caller’s telephone number, the date
and the time they called.
Press “BLOCK” on the call blocker if you want to block the number.
The screen will display “SAVE” and then “SUCCEED”.
Use the “DOWN” button on the call blocker to continue viewing the
list of calls received.
One-Touch Call Blocking: block a number without answering the
telephone…
One-Touch Call Blocking cannot be used to block withheld numbers.
Details on how to block withheld numbers can be found further on in the
User Guide.

When you receive a call, the screen on the call blocker will display the
number of the caller.
To block the caller without answering your telephone, press “BLOCK”
on the call blocker.
The screen will display “SAVE” and then “SUCCEED”.
The caller’s number is now blocked.
Block a number during a call using your telephone…
This feature allows you to block a number during a call using your
telephone. This feature cannot be used to block withheld numbers.
Details on how to block withheld numbers can be found further on in the
User Guide.
To block a number during a call, press “*” (star button) followed by
the number “0” on your telephone.
Hang up your telephone.
The call blocker screen will display “SAVE” and then “SUCCEED”.
The caller’s number is now blocked.
Add numbers yourself to the blocked caller list…
Pick up your telephone so you can hear a dial tone (if you are using a
cordless telephone, press the call button).
Dial the number you want to block and then hang up immediately.
Press “OUT” on the call blocker.
The call blocker will display the number dialled.
Press “BLOCK” on the call blocker.
The screen will display “SAVE” and then “SUCCEED”.
The caller’s number is now blocked.
Press “SET” twice to return to the main screen.

Unblock a number
Press “BLOCK” on the call blocker. The screen will display the last
number that was blocked.
Use the “DOWN” button on the call blocker to find the number you
want to unblock.
Press “DEL” on the call blocker.
The screen will display “DEL”.
The number is removed from the blocked caller list.
unblock all numbers from the blocked incoming caller list…
Press “BLOCK” on the call blocker. The screen will display the last
number that was blocked.
Press “DEL” on the call blocker and keep it pressed until the screen
displays the date, time and year.
All blocked numbers will be removed from the blocked caller list
Block incoming dialling codes (up to 5 numbers)
This feature allows you to block all incoming calls that start with a specific
number (up to 5 digits). For example, block all calls that start with “00” to
block international calls or block all calls that start with “08” to block
callers that call from an 0800, 0845, 0870, etc… number.
Press “SET” on the call blocker. The screen will display “SET 123456”.
Pick up your telephone so you can hear a dial tone (if you are using a
cordless telephone, press the call button).
Press “4” on your telephone.
The screen on the call blocker will display “BLACKCODE1” followed by
“- - - - - “
Using your telephone, enter the dialling code you want to block. The
number will be displayed on the call blocker screen.

Press the “SET” button on the call blocker to save the dialling code.
The screen on the call blocker will display “BLACKCODE2” followed by
“- - - - - “
To add another dialling code, using your telephone, enter the dialling
code you want to block and then press the “SET” button on the call
blocker.
If you have finished adding dialling codes, hang up your telephone and
the call blocker will return to the main screen after a few seconds.
Unblock incoming dialling codes
Press “SET” on the call blocker. The screen will display “SET 123456”.
Pick up your telephone so you can hear a dial tone (if you are using a
cordless telephone, press the call button).
Press “4” on your telephone.
The screen on the call blocker will display the blocked dialling code.
Hang up your telephone.
Use the “SET” button on the call blocker to find the dialling code you
want to unblock.
Press “DEL” on the call blocker.
The screen will display “BLACKCODE” followed by “- - - - - “
The blocked dialling code is removed from the blocked caller list.
If you have finished unblocking dialling codes, the call blocker will
return to the main screen after a few seconds.
Block anonymous & withheld numbers
Press “SET” on the call blocker. The screen will display “SET 123456”.
Pick up your telephone so you can hear a dial tone (if you are using a
cordless telephone, press the call button).
Press “5” on your telephone.

The screen on the call blocker will display either “ON” or “OFF”.
Hang up your telephone.
Use the “DOWN” button on the call blocker to either turn “ON” or turn
“OFF” blocking anonymous and withheld numbers.
Press “SET” on the call blocker to exit.
Press “SET” again on the call blocker. The screen will display “SET
123456”.
Pick up your telephone so you can hear a dial tone.
Press “6” on your telephone.
The screen on the call blocker will display either “ON” or “OFF”.
Hang up your telephone.
Use the “DOWN” button on the call blocker to either turn “ON” or turn
“OFF” blocking anonymous and withheld numbers.
Press “SET” on the call blocker to exit.
Restore factory settings
Pick up your telephone so you can hear a dial tone (if you are using a
cordless telephone, press the call button).
On your telephone press the “*” (star button) followed by “61806180”
followed by the “#” (hash button).
Hang up your telephone.
The screen on the call blocker will display “LOCK”.
Unlocking the call blocker
Pick up your telephone so you can hear a dial tone (if you are using a
cordless telephone, press the call button).
On your telephone press the “*” (star button) followed by “123456”
followed by the “#” (hash button).
Hang up your telephone.

The screen will display the year, date and time.
The call blocker is now unlocked.
Making & Receiving Calls
Making Calls
The screen on the call blocker will display the number you are dialling.
Receiving Calls
When you receive a call, the screen on the call blocker will display the
number of the caller.
If you answer the telephone, the screen will display a timer to show
the duration of the call.
