1. CamPilot MR900 Introduction
• CamPilot MR900 Capacities
1) CamPilot MR900 is a Network Video Server that transmits real-time high-resolution digital video and
audio data with H.264 high compression rate over Internet or Intranet.
2) CamPilot MR900 contains digital video/audio compressor, web server and network interface.
Users can simply connect power sources, network cables and a general analog camera for operation.
Additional operation equipments or programs are not required.
3) CamPilot MR900 enables real-time web browser monitoring anytime, anywhere. It can be installed
in a variety of places including child care facilities, education institutions, roads, amusement parks,
stores, cyber shopping malls, tourist attractions, construction and production sites and warehouses.
• CamPilot MR900 Features
1) Easy to use - CamPilot MR900 doesn’t require an additional PC for operation. Users can monitor
video /audio data from CamPilot MR900 through a regular PC’s Web Browsers (Explorer or Netscape).
IP address needs to be assigned at the first installation of CamPilot MR900. Thereafter, users can get
direct access through Web Browsers.
2) High compatibility - CamPilot MR900 supports TCP/IP for networking, SMTP for e-mail exchange
and FTP protocol for file transmission. Other online communication protocols such as ICMP, DHCP and
HTTP are also supported. Therefore, CamPilot MR900 users can use any OS out of Window, Unix,
Macintosh and OS/2 to access CamPilot MR900.
3) Simple environment setting - Internet Explorer or Firefox can be used to modify user environment
set in the CamPilot MR900.
4) Easy connection to external devices - CamPilot MR900 is easily connected to other digital devices
such as infrared sensors, pan/tilt mechanisms and zoom lenses, allowing creation of an integrated
monitoring system.
5) Embedded Linux O/S - CamPilot MR900 uses cutting-edge networking technology. Cellinx Systems
optimized Linux for this CamPilot MR900 operation and runs it with 32bit RISC CPU.

• CamPilot MR900 Appearance
• Notes
1) CamPilot MR900 is for indoor use and vulnerable to water and/or moisture. An additional case that is
temperature-controllable, damp-proof and waterproof is required for outdoor use.
2) CamPilot MR900 is subject to electric damage. Check the external power supply capacity.
3) CamPilot MR900 is vulnerable to physical damage. Don’t throw or drop the product down.
4) CamPilot MR900 is made of metal and might cause injury if thrown out to a person. Be careful for tight
installation.
5) In case of malfunction, don’t disassemble products. Seek for warranty service at nearby retail agencies.
Quality warranty is not applicable for arbitrarily disassembled products.
6) CamPilot MR900 can be used for surveillance purpose. Be thoroughly informed of related regulations
prior to installation to ensure compliance with such regulations.

2. CamPilot MR900 Installation
• Installation Process
1) Connecting power supply, LAN and video/audio cables to a CamPilot.
■DC 12V - Power (DC 12V 1000mA Adapter)
■ETHERNET - LAN cable (RJ45 Jack)
- A client PC or a network devices is connected to the CamPilot
■VIDEO - Video cable (BNC Jack)
- IN : Input
- OUT : Mode Selectable output (Connected camera or received image over IP)
■AUDIO - Audio cable (
Ø3.5 Stereo Jack
)
- IN : Input from a microphone / OUT : Output to a speaker
■DIO, PTZ - Control cable
- DIO : In case of using a sensor or a alarm device
- PTZ : In case of using pan/tilt/zoom contro (RS 485)
2) Executing NDC Manager Installation on PC (Ex: NDC Software 4.1 Installation)
- On each installing process, click ‘Yes’ or ‘Next’ to install by default.
- The programs like ENCP, NDC Manager, NDC Viewer and etc. are installed after the whole process.
(For details, please refer to the user’s guide of each program.)

3) Assigning an IP address to CamPilot MR900.
- Assign an IP address with ENCP(Easy Network Configuration Program)
- Running Start>Program>NVS 4.0> ENCP 2.0
■Scan NVS and network configuration
- Click “Scan Cameras” button to search CamPilots on the local network where ENCP runs.
- The Camera List displays the basic information of the searched CamPilots on the local network.
(Default IP address is 192.168.1.2)
- Select a CamPilot and change the network setup appropriately.
- After the setup, click “Save” button.
- Refer to “ENCP 2.0” manual for details.

4) Accessing to CamPilot MR900 with a web browser
- Open a web browser on PC and enter the IP address assigned to a Campilot MR900 as following.

② On the first connection, click “Yes” button to download ActiveX if a security warning window appears.
- User can download and install ActiveX Setup manually if the information bar does not appear.

• Guest login
- Click “Guest Login” button.
- User can login to monitoring page within restricted function.

③ Completion of the access to CamPilot MR900
- Video / audio monitoring and CamPilot managing are available by a web browser.
- Various CamPilot setup changing are available by the access of the administrator account.
- Refer to “Web Browser for CamPilot MR900” manual for details..
- User can also use NDC Manager for monitoring. (Refer to “NDC Manager” manual for details.)
