V. Operation Manual
1. Boot auto-play
The media player will au o-play all he files in roo direc ory of USB/SD
CARD. Bu files ha s ored in he folder can’ be au o-played. The display
files can be: video files, pic ure files, and audio files.
Play sequence: video→pic ure→audio.

2. ustom control display
User can define he func ion of each bu on. Define in he configura ion file
“au oplay. x ” as below:
Example 1:

3. Pictures Sync playback (BGM)
For pictures’ playback, you can define a background music folder. Here are two
ways.
3.1The first way:

Music folder s ored in he roo direc ory, i will boo au o-play. In
his case, background music will play once playing pic ures.
Firs , crea e a folder named “audio” in he roo direc ory. Then
copy he MP3 music files o folder “audio”. When pic ures in he roo
direc ory are played, i will au o-play he music in folder “audio”.
Attention please: Do not change the name of this audio folder.
3.2 The second way:

If he displaying folder files are pic ures, you can define a folder o
play he background music of hese pic ures.
For example,

In his case, you can crea e a folder named “pho o_audio”. When
you play he pic ures in folder “pho o/”, music in “pho o_audio” will
be played a he same ime.

3.3 When displaying pictures, two parameters can be set as
well.:

a.Picture playing time and transition model from one picture
to the next. Set as follows:
Add below programme a he beginning of he configura ion file
“au oplay. x ”:
Transition=9 (Se ing he ransi ion model from one pic ure o
ano her, parame er range 1-9)
Slide_time=5 (Se ing he playing ime of each pic ure)
b. ustom volume level
Define a he beginning of “au oplay. x ”, as below:
Volume=10 (Here “10” represen s he boo volume level when
power on. Effec ive volume se ing range is from 1 o 31.)
4. ustom function
Firs , define “irmode=1”a he beginning of “au oplay. x ”.
Format: [func ion key name]=[number key], his forma should no be
reversed.
For example, we define he keys “s op”, “re urn”, “nex ”, “prev” as below:
STOP=1, RETURN=3, NEXT=4, PREV=5
In his case, push bu on inpu 1, 3, 4, 5, hey will be func ion keys.
The definable func ion keys are as follows (i is for he defini ion of bu on
keys):
NEXT, PREV, STOP, RETURN, PLAY, UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, SETUP,
MENU, VOL_PLUS, VOL_MINUS, MUTE

5.1 RS-232 control display
a. The MP 1005 provides a DB9 female port for communication
with control P and program download.
The pins are defined as below:

c. Instruction of RS-232 commands
a.) Examples of command format:
A: @00:VOL+$ Represen s: Volume up
B: @00:NEXT$ Represen s: Nex file
C: @01:PREV$ Represen s: Previous file ( his command can
only be accep ed by media player ha se he address as “01”, all
o her media players will no ac on his command).
D: @00:03$ Represen s: Play he files ha s ored in folder 03.
b.) RS-232 command consists of 5 parts, for example:
“@00:VOL+$”
A: “@”:Beginning sign of he command.
B: “00”:Address code.
There are 2 kinds of address code: broadcas address “00” and
user address “01-99”.
Broadcas address is he one ha all he media players on he o al
da a can ac on he commands sen ou from broadcas address. If i
is user address, only defined media player can ac on his command.
There is only one broadcas address “00”, and addresses range from
01 o 99 is user address. User address can be defined in he
“au oplay. x ”. For example, add “address=5” in o “au oplay. x ”,
hen he address of media player is “5”.
C:“:” This delimi er is placed af er address code.
D:“VOL+” is command inpu , you can also use number inpu .
Number inpu : 0, 1, 2,…99( he numbers represen playing folder
0-99)
Command inpu : You can refer o he command list. For example:
STOP, NEXT, VOL+, VOL- …
E:“ $” is he end mark of command.
Note: There is ano her command forma , he beginning sign can be
“#”, and he end mark of command can be “0x0d(HEX)”. For
example: “#00:VOL+0x0d(HEX)”.

NOTE:“@0:WHO?”: This is a signal ha s and-alone media player ask
he synchroniza ion console o confirm if his player is hos machine or
slave machine. If he player is hos machine, i will synchronize o her
machine. And if i is slave machine, i will wai for he sync signal. You can
urn off his finding by sending he s ring “@00:SLAVE$”.
5.2 Button control display(Specific model has this function)
a. Store the displaying files in USB/SD ARD as follows:
A.Folder “01”, “02” mus be con rolled by push bu ons;
B.“au oplay. x ” is a configura ion file;
C.“Ava ar” and “flowers” are roo direc ory files. They are boo
au o-play, or loop play af er playing folder direc ory files ( hey
can be displayed as homepage files). The displaying con en is
from where i broke off.
