ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS/STAIRCASE
MAXIMUM WEIGHT CAPACITY 500 LBS

All of our equipment is designed and manufactured to
provide years of dependable service because we want
you as a customer now and in the future. Below are easy
to follow instructions on how to properly assemble your
equipment. Please contact us, if you experience any

INTENDED USE:
CanDo®Staircase is specifically designed and engi-
neered for physical therapy use only. Persons using
the staircase should be observed by trained medical/
physical therapy personnel. Never leave anyone on
the staircase unattended. Combination of weight and
force exerted on the
staircase during therapy is not to exceed a total of
500 lbs. Using this equipment for unintended
purposes could result in damage to the equipment
and serious injury.

Place platform(s) on side. Using two persons,
position left side of staircase (pre-attached
handrails and uprights) on left side of
staircase and line up holes.
Attach all uprights with 2-1/4" hex bolts using
a washer under the bolt head and a washer
against the locknut. Tighten securely with 9/16"
socket wrench and 9/16" crescent wrench.

FOR SAFETY PURPOSES, TAKE TIME TO CHECK ALL
BOLTS AND NUTS TO INSURE THAT
THEY ARE SECURELY TIGHTENED AND THAT THE
ENTIRE STAIRCASE HAS BEEN PROPERLY ASSEMBLED
ACCORDING TO THESE INSTRUCTIONS. INSPECT
FASTENERS PERIODICALLY.
4Clean with disinfectant according to Cleaning
Guidelines prior to use.
CARE & CLEANING
CanDo®products are built to be durable. With
proper care, your equipment will provide years of
superior looks and performance. Clean staircase with
a soft cloth and any mild cleaning agent that may be
required for sanitation. NEVER use abrasive scrubbing
agents that may scratch the surfaces. Prior to
cleaning entire surface, test cleaning agents
on an inconspicuous area. Note that certain
cleaning agents can be harmful to the surfaces
of the product. Periodically check all fasteners to
make sure they remain secure.
WARRANTY
The manufacturer warrants products to be free of
defects in materials, workmanship or design under
normal use for five years on all products, from the
date of purchase. This warranty does not include
damage resulting from accident, abuse or misuse,
alteration, or negligence of the product and expressly
excludes normal wear of parts (including but not
limited to vinyl). Contact us for full warranty details.

the staircase.
