BEFORE STARTING
Remove the in ulatien tape at the back of calculator before u e. ENGLISH FRANÇAIS
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
1) Do not u e or leave the calculator under direct unlight. Pre ubject to rapid
temperature change , high humidity, du t and dirt hould al o be avoided.
2) U e a dry cloth to clean the ca ing ef the unit. Do not u e water or detergent .
3) Only u e the printer when the paper roll I loaded.
4) Avoid u ing the calculator in place where there are iron filing , a thi may affect the
electrical circuit of the calculator.
5) Do not place anything on top of the machine, particularly on top of the printer mechani m.
6) Turn the calculator off before removing the plug from the electrical outlet.
7) In ca e of electrical fault (i.e. moke), di connect the plug from the electrical peint
Immediately. №ep ob tacle away from the point o you can di connect the plug at any
time.
8) When re-plug in the AC adapter during the "ON" mode. Pre [E key to re tart the
calculator.
DECIMAL POINT SELECTOR SWITCH

Power Off - Turn power off.
Power On/Print Off - Turn power on. Entrie and re ult will appear on
the di play, but will not be printed out.
Power On/PrInt On - Entrie and re ult will appear on the di play and

Item - Set witch to “ITEM” to count the number of time the Q ■ Q ■
QUZZ) (Ml and (Ml key have been pre ed. The item count will be printed on
the left hand ide of the paper roll (up to 999 time ) when the

Rate Set - Set witch to “RATE SET’ for etting or recalling the TAX rate.

** Minute Input value : 0 to 59. Value greater than 59 are automatically adju ted by
adding to the hour( ).
** Calculation range: -99 hour 59 minute to 99 hour 59 minute . If the input/output
value out of the allowable range, the time calculation will overflow.
TAX CALCULATION FUNCTION
ITAX4-I Add Tax Key - U ed for adding the tax amount to the di played figure.
I TAX-1 Ded ct Tax Key - U ed for deducting the tax amount from the di played figure.
> Note: The entered tax rate will remain tored even when the calculator i turned off.
In ca e the adapter or batterie are di connected, the entered rate will be
cleared. In thi ca e, plea e enter the rate again.
COST-SELL-MARGIN CALCULATION

Enter the value of any 2 item to obtain the balance value item.

OVERFLOW
In the following ca e , when "E" I di played, a dotted line i printed, the keyboard I
electronically locked, and further operation i Impo ible. Pre to clear the overflow.
The overflow occur when:
1. The re ult or the memory content exceed 12 digit to the left of the decimal point.
2. Dividing by "0".
3. The equential operation peed I fa ter than the calculation proce ing peed.
(Buffer Regi ter Overflow)
■ Electromagnetic interference or electro tatic di charge may cau e the di play
to malfunction or the content of the memory to be lo t or altered.
Should thi occur, u e the tip of a ball point pen (or imilar harp
object) to pre the [RESET] button at the back of the calculator. 1^^
After re etting, be ure to et the calendar, clock and tax

4) Éviter l'emploi de la calculatrice dan une alle remplie de limaille de fer, car
l'Imprimante renferme de circuit électrique permanent .
5) Ne rien placer ur de l'appareil, urtout ur la tête du mécani me d'impre ion.
6) Mettre la calculatrice hor ten ion avant de retirer la fiche de la pri e c.a. principale.
7) En ca de problème électrique (p. ex. fumée), débrancher Immédiatement la fiche de
la pri e. Garder la pri e bien dégagée de façon à pouvoir débrancher à tout moment.

CALCUL DES COÛTS-VENTES-MARGES

DÉPASSEMENT DE CAPACITÉ
L'allumage du ymbole «E» à l'afficheur et l'Impre ion d'une ligne pointillée ignifient le
dépa ement de capacité de la calculatrice. Dan un tel ca , le clavier e t verrouillé
électroniquement et l'utili ation de la calculatrice devient impo ible. Appuyer ur
pour éliminer le dépa ement de capacité. Le circon tance uivante provoquemie
dépa ement :
1. Le ré ultat ou le contenu de la mémoire dépa e 12 chiffre à gauche de la virgule
décimale.
2. La divi ion par « 0 ».
3. Lor que la vite e de l'opération équentielle e t plu rapide que la vile e de calclul.

7) En ca o del defecto eléctrico (e.g. humo), de conecte el tapón del punto eléctrica

de conectar el tapón en cualquier momento.

FUNCIÓN DE CÁLCULO DE IMPUESTOS
ITAX+I Tecla de S mar Imp esto: Se utiliza e ta tecla para umar el importe
del Impue to a la cifra que aparece en la pantalla.
ITAX-I Tecla de Restar Imp esto: Se utiliza e ta tecla para deducir el Importe
del impue to a la cifra que aparece en la pantalla.
• Nota: El ratio de cambio de divi a o el porcentaje de Impue to e queda en la
memoria cuando e apaga la calculadora. Sin embargo, cuando e
de conecta de la red lo ratlo e eliminan. En e te ca o introduzca otra
vez el ratio.
CÁLCULO DE COSTES-VENTAS-MARGEN
[crefi [üllI iMAHíaMi - Se utiliza para calcular el co te, el precio de venta y el porcentaje del
margen. Introduzca el valor de do de e ta tre variable para
obtener el re ultado del balance cor re pondiente. (Por ejemplo.
Introduzca el valor del co te y del precio de venta para obtener el
margen de beneficio %).
FUNCIÓN DEL CALENDARIO Y DEL RELOJ

REBOSE
En lo iguiente ca o , cuando aparece una "E'' en la pantalla, una línea de punto e
Impre a, el teclado e bloquea electrónicamente, y la operación ub iguiente no e
po ible, pre ione Щ para borrar el rebo e. La rebo e ocurre cuando:
1. El re ultado o el contenido de la memoria excede de 12 dígito a la izquierda del
punto decimal.
2. Divide por "0".
3. La velocidad de la operación ecuencial e má rápida que la velocidad del proce o
de cálculo. (Rebo aminto del regi tra de la memoria Intermedia)
■ La Interferencia eléctrica o la electricidad e tática pueden oca ionar
mal funcionamiento de la pantalla o la pérdida del contenido de la

INSERTING PRINTING PAPER
1) Lift up the paper arm. (Figure 1).
• When in erting the paper, cut the edge of the paper a hown.
2) Piace the new paper roii on the arm. The edge of the paper houid be po itioned a hown
(Figure 2).

REPLACING THE INK ROLLER
Note: Turn power witch off.
1) Remove the printer cover. (Figure 5)
2) Hoid the ieft ide of the ink roTier indicated a “puii up” and iift the ink roiier up to remove it.

•To maintain ciear printing, change the ink roiier after about 8 roii of printing paper have
been u ed.
3) in ert a new ink roiier into po ition. (Figure 7)
4) Repiace the printer cover. (Figure 8)

it in the direction of the arrow.
2) Load four new batterie ( ize AA) into the battery chamber a iiiu trated by in erting
the (-) end fir t. The caiculator will not operate if batterie are load improperly.
3) Replace the cover by liding it from the middle point.

• Low battery power may cau e printing problem or random paper advance . It can

MISE EN PLACE ET REMPLACEMENT DES PILES
MISE EN PLACE
1) Retirer le couvercle du compartiment de pile au-de ou de cette calculatrice en le
fai ant gli er dan le en indiqué par la flèche.
2) Mettre quatre pile neuve (format AA) dan le compartiment de pile , tel qu’illu tré,
en in érant d’abord la borne négative (-). La calculatrice ne fonctionnera pa i le
pile ne ort pa in tallée correctement.
3) Replacer le couvercle en le gli ant à partir du milieu.
REMPLACEMENT
• Une faible ten ion de pile peut entraîner de défaut d’impre ion, un défilement
aléatoire du papier ou l’impo ibilité d’utili er la touche 3] ( ou ten ion /
effacement).
• Si l’affichage e t faible ou i la vite e d’impre ion diminue ou i l’icône "Low Batt"
apparaît, alor le pile peuvent être déchargée . Remplacer le pile pour revenir
aux opération normale .
• Retirer le pile de la calculatrice ’il e t prévu qu’elle re te inutili ée pendant une
longue durée de temp .
ADAPTATEUR c.a. AC-380 DE CANON (COMPRIS)
• N’utili er que l’adaptateur c.a. AC-380 de Canon.
• Mettre l’interrupteur de courant de la calculatrice en po ition d’arrêt avant de brancher
ou de débrancher l’adaptateur c.a.
• Ce bloc d’alimentation doit être monté verticalement ou ur le ol.
CARGANDO Y REEMPLAZANDO BATERÍAS SECAS
CARGA
1) Retire la cubierta del compartimiento de batería del lado inferior de la calculadora,
de lizándola en la dirección de la flecha.
2) Cargue cuatro batería nueva (tamaño AA) en el compartimiento de batería , como
e ilu tra, e in erte primero el extremo (-). La calculadora no trabajará i la batría
e tán colocada ¡n correctamente.
3) Reemplace la cubierta de lizándola de de u punto medio.
REEMPLAZO
• Un bajo voltaje de la batería puede cau ar defecto de impre ión ó avance del
papel intermitentemente. También puede inhabilitar la 3] tecla.
• Si la iluminación de la pantalla e débil, o baja la velocidad de impre ión, o aparece el
icono "Low Batt", la pila e tarán de cargada . Reemplaza la batería para poder
reanudar normalmente la operacione .
• Remueva la batería i no planea u ar la unidad por un largo período de tiempo.
